All of my wings had feathers
    Dexter R.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. So bad that I have to write a review. I placed an online order and arrived during the pick up time. The woman working said 10 more minutes, almost 20 minutes later my food was finally finished. Got home only to find that all of my chicken wings still had feathers on it. I've eaten wings with feathers before, one here two there but not my entire damn order. I ordered lemon pepper and spicy wings and what I got was all plain. At least she got the dipping sauces right. On top of that I also found HAIR on my fries. Maybe if the woman wasn't on FACETIME the entire time she was making my order this wouldn't have happened. But I doubt it, this level of unprofessionalism happens daily. Also didn't see her wash her hands every time she repositioned her oily phone so they can see her on face time.

This was my first time walking in a couple of days ago. I'm so blessed that my wife usually picks up their chicken for me. I decided to bless a brother with this wonderful lunch. It was fantastic as always. The service was very friendly and fast. It has the requisite plastic screen to keep customers' cooties to themselves. No marks on the floor, but the customers were smart enough to keep social distancing. The parking is usually pretty good. Otherwise, you can swing around the corner and park on Washington Street with no problems. Very clean. If you're in West Roxbury, make sure to stop by.

The owner is friendly and omg the lemon and pepper fried chicken is delicious.. Bird nest is onion rings, fries and sweet potato fries in a form of a bird nest .. The corn bread is a hit. I never share the corn bread lol Can't wait to go back and try other things in the menu

I ordered the spicy chicken tenders with fries and lemon pepper wings with garlic sauce and it was awesome. Flavor was definitely there and chicken was not over cooked - still crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. One star off was because like some of the reviews said I noticed there were these little hairs on some of my wings from the chicken which I thought should have been removed better before frying..

Great food and huge portions. I kind of wish the wings were smaller because the sauce:meat ratio would be better. Highly recommended!

We arrived during the dinner rush and were lucky to get one of the last available tables. Despite how busy it was, we were seated quickly, and our server immediately went over the dinner specials with us. We started with the fried calamari, which was decent--nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. For our main dishes, I ordered the pistachio‑crusted haddock with grilled vegetables, while my colleague chose the fajitas. The dinner special was the highlight for me: the haddock was incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly, and wonderfully moist with a delicate, flaky texture. I loved it. My colleague said the fajitas were fine, though not particularly memorable for his taste. Service throughout the evening was excellent, especially considering the crowd. Overall, I really enjoyed our meal and the attentive service. I'd happily return the next time I'm in town.

We split their large tater tots app and a grilled steak salad at about $11 and $15. Bob was an excellent bartender/server. Just love it there.

Wow what a great meal!…read more We went as a party of five. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodated us running late as well. Our server was so kind and gave us helpful advice on our order. We ended up ordering the Jerk Duck drumettes which were incredible -- super soft fall off the bone duck in a tangy sauce with some spice. Truly perfect and I think we all licked our plates clean. We also tried the fried okra which had little okra sticks set in a yogurt dip and was a really nice compliment to the drumettes. Last we got the Plantain chips which were so good -- definitely some of the best plantain chips I have had because they cut them so thin! And the dipping sauce was yummy also, would definitely start your meal with this. For mains, we shared the Suya Fennel, Goat Ragu, and Prawn Curry. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a fennel dish before but the Suya Fennel was so yummy with different textured vegetables in a creamy sauce. The prawn curry was also incredible with five fat prawns in a tangy coconut curry sauce with a side of fried roti/paratha perfect for cleaning up all the sauce. They also were easily able to accommodate a nut allergy and put the cashew cream on the side for us! The goat ragu was also yummy but came out like-warm (not sure if that's how it's supposed to come) and was overshadowed by the other mains a bit. For dessert we ended up trying all three -- the Cardamom Semifredo, Chocolate Raspberry Clafoutis, and Mango ice cream and love all of them! I think we all agreed our favorite was the Cardamom Semifredo because it's so unique -- the texture of the cake is almost like rasmalai and it comes with crunchy puffed rice which was a perfect balance. Definitely worth trying if you're open to trying something new! We also loved the mango ice cream with peanut brittle which is thicker than typical ice creams and also like a mango lassi ice cream. The chocolate clafoutis was super solid and similar to a lava cake, and perfect if you're looking for a chocolate fix, but not as unique as the other two. Overall we had such a great time at Comfort Kitchen. The service was great, the food was great, and the vibes were great. We will certainly be back!
