Steer Clear. The food was great the first time I loved it. A few months back. Excited, today 1-11-23,I brought my husband for the first time, on Wednesday. the restaurant was 1/2 full at noon. The person refused to seat (2) at a four tops There were 3 empty four tops. The employee asked if we would wait for a two top, "We have larger groups, can you wait a few minutes!" Embarrassed I obliged. On my husband s first vis. Employees mill and seed we slow and literally doing nothing. After 7 minutes we were seat at a 2 top. No drink order taken... nothing. A four top in middle of room had been there for 20 minutes longer than us, older gentleman brought their drinks. Employees were overwhelmed and slow and not understanding that this is terrible. I was so excited and even during the middle of the slow week. We waited ten more minutes at tan and no one approached us. We realized no one was getting the food in a timely manner. No one taking orders. This is not how you run a business. Then the same elderly lady working there with what appea to her sister or twin chased as we left offering free meal. So we did not go back in because this pla is terrible. The fact we were Gay actually had nothing to do with their ineptness. Hire actu servers who know how to serve. Embarrassed and sad for this place. Surely, it will close down. All the others were not happy either. We would still be waitin. we went to KFC where service was great. read more

Lovely lovely place. Very clean. Restroom even smells nice. Proprietors are friendly and accommodating. Food is wholesome and value priced. Mostly deli, salads, chili, and breakfast. Large choice of meats, breads and cheese. Heated or cold. I recommend the heritage roll (soft whole wheat). Good choice of desserts that look awesome. Even sweet potato cake. Amazing! The sandwiches melted in your mouth, I had a hard time choosing which sandwich I wanted. I got the turkey pesto and it was to die for. Sweet tea was sweet without overdoing it and the coleslaw tasted fresh. Other items for sale such as dried fruits, coffee, mugs etc inside. This is a very unusual eatery. The staff work together and all reside in the same house on Oak Street. They express their feelings about a higher Being, letting them live in harmony, similar to a cult. That being said our meal was delicious, my Deli Rose sandwich which is the top seller and my Wife's turkey sandwich were very good and quite affordable. The atmosphere and ambiance was perfect sort of a cross between a country store and a sandwich shop. Our order got misplaced but I forgave the server, they were busy. Sometimes stuff happens right? I don't think there is really a not busy time as we had a short wait for an inside table. We can see this place becoming very popular and we will return every time we are in Arcadia. This place just opened in April and honestly its going to be a regular place for me. It's open later than any other restaurant in the area which is great when you just want a good sandwich after 4 pm. The menu is limited but what they lack in variety they make up for in mastery. We tried several different sandwiches and they taste amazing. Not to mention the place is cute as a button! We also got some fresh baked deserts to take home. KIND KIND KIND. I went here after a bad experience at another local rescans they greeted me with such kindness. They were not even opened for food, drinks and she made me a coffee without question. Went out of her way to make it and bring over to counter with sugar etc. I will ABSOLUTELY return. The store had nice hand soaps and teas. Very CLEAN and pleasant atmosphere. I was very pleasantly surprised when we visited this place for lunch today. I loved the cozy, rustic atmosphere, all the staff were very friendly, and the sandwich I ordered was one of the best I've had anywhere. My wife had a different sandwich and loved it, as well. Sandwiches come with kettle chips and a dill pickle slice. The whole atmosphere was fresh and refreshing and I could have stayed just to relax awhile longer.
