There are plenty of spots in Arcadia for traditional Mexican food, and Azul Tequila is definitely one of the best! Everyone -- from the owner to the waitstaff and bartenders -- is absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is so welcoming and fun, and you can tell they take pride in making sure guests have a great experience. The drinks are deliciously strong (in the best way!) and crafted perfectly. I ordered Las Tres Marías, which comes with cucumber jalapeño, mango, and blueberry margaritas -- such a great option if you want to sample a variety of their flavors. (SN: Mango wasn't one of the flavors, but a replacement {don't remember what for though}) For dinner, I had the quesabirria, and it was packed with flavor and plenty of meat. The consomé was rich and just as tasty. We also tried their traditional beef burrito, and it did not disappoint. Overall, Azul Tequila is a gem in Arcadia -- great food, great drinks, and even better people. Can't wait to go back! read more

We came to Azul Tequila in Arcadia for lunch with a big group. They were able to seat us all together which was great, and the vibe was fun and welcoming. The chips, salsa, and drinks were solid, and our server was friendly even though they had a lot on their plate with such a large party. That being said, the service ended up really slow and the food just didn't hit the mark. A few dishes came out lukewarm, and unfortunately several people in our group ended up with upset stomachs afterwards. It definitely took away from the overall experience. Not the worst spot, but not one I'd hurry back to either. read more

We were looking for a sit-down restaurant in Arcadia when we were there for a rodeo. I felt the food was fine. Wasn't great, wasn't bad. I had the Chicken Enchilada Suizas and my wife had the Chicken Taquitos. Staff was friendly but service was slow (possibly due to the influx of rodeo folks). read more

If you know Arcadia you know there's next to no where decent to eat. AZUL tequila has great food drinks and specials and although they're not the best Mexican food in town they're by far the best restaurant/ date night / sit down type place. We go here every month as locals and love it. The service is always fast and friendly and they stay super busy because again ( not too many options) but they're just as good as most sit down Mexican places around ! read more

Ridiculously loud. The music from the speakers is bad enough. But add in a strolling band with music so loud you have to shout at your dining partner. Food is marginal. Never again. read more

Good food - I wouldn't say this is the BEST Mexican food I've had but it was something I would eat again. Street tacos were good, asked for the salsa verde and that was great. They should include that with the meal. Beans were a bit 'soupy' but tasty. Everyone else had good food as well. We have tried many Mexican restaurants in the area (mostly Port Charlotte) and this is the best so far. read more

Hi!! The food wasn't so good because I got chicken you really don't get it at Mexican restaurants the rest was ok. The service was ok not slow. The ambiance was not like fancy but like I don't mean it has to be . read more

We both ordered the poblano chile (relleno) entree. Food arrived promptly and was very tasty. The salsa served with the chips was exceptionally mild. We ordered a small dish of spicier salsa which changed things up a bit, added a bit more zing to the food. Lots of choices on the menu and the prices are about average for the area. Our server was friendly and did a good job. Would recommend to anyone traveling through to give them a try. read more

The good ole husband pick out lunch today . I obviously looked up reviews on Yelp first to see what I was getting into . I read about 4 negative ones and they really didn't mention anything that would keep me away so we went . Friendly staff from beginning to end ! We were sat a table as soon as we walked in . It was not packed but not empty the bar was full . Waitress came right away to get drink order . Food came out at a decent time . We were checked on multiple times by our friendly waitresses . She told us about the rodeo that was going on at the mosaic. Food was really good . If we lived on this side we would definitely be back at night for date night and get some drinks . 10 out of 10 read more

Excellent Tequila selection, made-to-order guacamole, and service by Ana at the bar. We tried the Centenario Reposado with a Tajin rim and 2-for-1 Pacifico drafts. The best full-service restaurant (bar, table service, apps, dinner) in Arcadia and only a minute from the historic sector. read more

The restaurant has a wide variety of good food. Their service to our group was fast and courteous. There is a discount for cash

I visited Azul Tequila for lunch with co-workers last week and had a nice experience. The restaurant has a massive menu that was overwhelming but I settled on the Enchiladas Mixtas. Two soft tortillas were filled with tender shredded chicken and topped with melted cheese and flavorful Chipotle and Mole sauces. A third tortilla was filled with a generous portion of wilted spinach and topped with a green sauce. Sides of soft savory rice with a light crispness and creamy refried beans accompanied the dish. read more

Went and had Great Mexican yesterday in Bradenton ( review coming) so eas still in the mood today so tried this place much closer to home. Boy Im glad I did. Living 17 years in Phoenix I was used to the Sonoran Mexican styles of dishes but have a hard time finding the same here in the east. I had the Traditional Burrito lunch special. A shredded beef burrito ( with no fillers like most of the places ive been to where the burrito is like 75% rice and beans) All meat and cheese baby! And the rice and beans were on the side as they should be. And both were very tasty. Beans came in a little taco bowl. Loved that. No complaints at all. The pico de gallo was very tasty. I have found a new favorite restaurant in Arcadia Florida. They will soon name abooth after me. read more

Good Mexican place at the middle of small town. It located along the SR 70 which easy to access. The interior are nicely decorated even it is in the small town. Nice Mexican decorations. The lunch special is about $6 to $7 different compared to the dinner. Obviously the dinner has bigger portion. We have order the Carne Asada with bean and rice. It come with choice of corn or flour tortillas. It also come with salsa and guacamole. The Carne Asada is a thin skirt steak. It is marinated with good flavor. The grilled skill is good that did not make the steak too charcoal. Meat is still soft and tender. The happy hour margarita make each glass less than $4. However, there alcohol is very light. Their happy hour include sangria. Overall the service is good not rememberable. read more

Overall, we had a good experience here. This is definitely a restaurant that will only be a hit with certain people. The price is good. The service was good. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed the ambiance. The food, however, was to me very bland. I ordered the enchiladas, so there should have been spices, sauces, and flavor. The salsa tasted more like a tomato sauce than a salsa, even the hot was lacking a punch for me. The food was good, but fell short of delicious. It was very one note with no highs or lows on the plate. Bland would be how I would describe it. My picky eating son, however, liked the lack of spice on the meat, and my wife found it more flavorful than I did. Overall, not a bad place to eat, very clean, but missing flavor. read more

Had to wait for 20+ minutes for a table on a Sunday afternoon, but it was well worth the wait. Service was good for being super busy. The food was top shelf, fresh and taste was hands down best the family has had in Florida. Only complaint was the serving size of chips that came with the salsa. Need to adjust for a table of 6 people. read more

Another typical experience with Azul tequila. Pretty much just like the last visit. The service was pretty mediocre. Do you know that when you get ready to eat and you still don't have silverware or napkins. The chips tasted just like the oil in the fryer was a week old. The salsa was more bland than I remember. Then came in the meal I'm a pretty decent cook so when you go out to eat you judge what you're eating against what you cook I'm sitting here thinking why in the world did I go out to eat? Bland tasteless food and I could've had a decent meal at home. Oh well, it was the grandkids birthday party but that's the only way I can justify it you know I'm doing it to help. read more

Food was a bit expensive when our small town has so many other options. Great service margaritas were too expensive for the weak taste.
