The incompetent female receptionist made me wait 50 minutes at the airport with my son. I finally had to download the Uber App, registered, put in my credit card information, and found an Uber driver to pick us up before the incompetent Yellow cab driver called me after waiting for 50 minutes to ask me, did you call for a cab? I answered, no, I called your damn office to ask for Mill Creek forecast. Are you kidding me? Who are them idiots? I gave them 4 chances and they failed every time. The incompetent receptionist keeps making me wait rather than to tell you the exact wait time. One of the most unreliable companies that I have ever dealt with. Dispatch told me 20 mins , a few times, and the cab never showed up. An hour later the driver called me saying he was there but I had already left for the bus. He then proceeded to be rude to me for not canceling my ride. I used Yellow Cab of Snohomish to get to and from my HS reunion. The Dispatcher, Brandy, was friendly, efficient and helpful; The driver, Bingyam was equally friendly. Overall, I was very happy with the service and the people. The price was cheaper and the service as if not more reliable (IMHO) than an Uber or Lyft. Called this company for a simple short trip across town. Dispatcher was surly, operator did not know how to use a GPS and was one sandwich short of a picnic. Took the long way to my destination because they assumed I was not from that City. I am being generous at 1 star. I do not like to give 1 star but for Quality 1 star, Speed 1 star, price 1 star. I would go negative 5 if possible. I booked a ride via phone....it took about 15 minutes just to get a person on the line. I booked the ride over an hour in advance and also made sure that my return ride was taken care of. The ride was foe 1730...at 1745 I called to get an update. The dispatcher realized that my ride had not even been picked up. I had not received a call or any kind of notice that the ride was delayed. She explained that she was really busy and had not noticed. In my book, not acceptable. I had to call a cab to take my daughter home from the ER. It took them an hour and a half to get there, and if it wasn't for the yellow cab emblem and taxi light I wouldn't have thought it was a professional taxi. Ripped seats, smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in 30 years and seedy as hell. Driver had no idea how to look up the address, and when we reached the end of the ride, he pretended to not have a card reader, locked the door on my under aged driver, and demanded that I go out and borrow money from my neighbors and leave my daughter in the car while I went. I had to call the dispatcher to force him to unlock the door (they also refused to accept credit cards, which they had failed to mention any of the 5 times I called to check on the cab), so I could get my daughter safely indoors before continuing my nightmare ride from hell to circulate ATMs. While getting out of the vehicle to do the ATM, a portion of the door fell on the ground from the crap mobile. When I left a comment on their webside, initially their 'manager' Beth pretended to be professional, and said that she was looking into it, they had no phone record that matched up with the times, and all of their cars had passed a through inspection the week before. After that point, I gave her a few days and tried calling again about once per day during the hours she said she'd be working, and no one answered the phone. Today I called their dispatch line and asked to be transferred, and Beth blew up on me. Accused me of inventing the entire thing, and after I got a valid email address from her to send my screenshots of my call logs to, sent me an email accusing me of harassing her with nasty calls. Their drivers are TERRIBLE. We got stuck behind one of their drivers for only about 10 minutes. In these 10 minutes, the driver stopped in the middle of an intersection, swerved into the opposite lane with oncoming traffic, and went 15 mph under the speed limit. We stayed pretty far back from him. Finally the lane split in 2 and we both pulled up to a red light. The driver was flipping us off and cussing at us when we did NOTHING. I called the company at 6:35 am because no one had arrived and I hadn't received a call. I was told my cab was still 15 min away (making them 20 min late for a scheduled pick-up). We had EXCELLENT service from Yellow Cab in Everett in the early morning of June 17, 2013. George was our driver. We needed to get to Providence Hospital by 5:30 am for surgery. Based on those negative reviews for Yellow Cab, we had reserved a cab from American Checker--what a mistake! AmCheck never showed up and didn't answer our phone calls. So, we called Yellow Cab and a great driver, George, showed up in 15 minutes. Our good experience with Yellow Cab was important b/c we had a medical need to be on time at the hospital. I got an Uber ride in 5 minutes after I called one. 50 minutes after my reserved time, the cab driver finally called me saying they were running behind schedule and asked me if I still want a ride. The only reason they get one star is I cannot give them a negative number. I had minor surgery this week and planned to take a cab home after. I call and am told 20 - 30 minuets. No problem. Get dressed and the RN wheels my downstairs to wait. 45 minuets later I call them back and get told they are on the way, 20 minuets tops. 45 MORE minuets later I walk to the bus stop to head home. 2 hours and 27 minuets later they call me to see if I still need a ride. I have had two very unpleasant experiences with Yellow Cab in Everett and I will never use them again. The first time, I had an important appointment and I called a few hours before I needed the cab and asked them to pick me up at my house at 10:30 am. The guy arrived at about 10:10 and I wasn't ready yet, I was still putting on my shoes and stuff. I told him I asked for the cab at 10:30 and that he was early and I wasn't quite ready to go. He SCREAMED at me and told me that Yellow Cab would never send another taxi to my house and that this was all my fault. After he left, I called the dispatcher and explained what happened. He apologized and sent another cab, which turned out ok, so I used them a few more times. Then the last time, a few weeks ago, I called the DAY BEFORE I had a grooming appointment with my border collie dog (45 pounds, clean and well-behaved). I made sure they accepted dogs in their taxis and made an appointment for them to pick me up about a half hour before my appointment, which was about 15 minutes away. When the guy got there, he called my phone and said he was out front. He wasn't - he was halfway down the block. I went out and walked toward him and he rolled down the window and started yelling "no, no, I do not take a dog, it is not right!" I told him I called in advance and asked if they took dogs and they said yes. He kept saying, "it's not right, it's not right." He was looking at me suspiciously. Finally he asked where I was going, and I said to the groomers at PetSmart, 15 minutes away at most. He just kept looking at me suspicously and saying, "no, I don't take dogs, it's not right." Finally, I started walking away. He started honking and shouting "wait, wait!" I just kept walking. He yelled, "does this mean you don't want a taxi?" I went inside and called dispatch and told them what was going on. They said that the cab driver had just called them and told them I wasn't ready to go yet. I explained what really happened and they asked if I wanted them to send another cab. I was so mad and humilated by this guy yelling at me that I told them to forget it and rescheduled the appointment. I will never use them again. read more

The dispatch lady was very nice. The driver was unbelievably sketchy. He first tried to get my husband to pay for gas instead of paying the fare, and my husband said no several times during the ride when he kept repeatedly asking. He then pulled into a gas station and asked again. My husband said no, so he left and drove into our neighborhood. Then he took a very long time to charge the credit card but finally sent my husband on his way, only to call a few minutes later to say the card was declined. I looked on our credit card online statement and found that not only was it NOT declined, the pending charge was $24 more than the charge he wrote on our receipt. The dispatch lady was very nice when we called to complain but we are now in the process of disputing this charge with our credit card company and canceling our credit card since he wrote down the entire number on the receipt so he now has our card #. read more

This is the worst taxi service in Washington State. I call for a taxi 5-6 days a week, and the employees who work from 3am-5am are the worst. They always put a different name than what I give, they always do a different time than I ask for, they delete or don't take my info and don't send me a taxi. I've already had 4 or 5 times where they just haven't sent a taxi and when I call an hour later they say they never got my call or my info isn't on the sheet. I rely on a taxi for work anytime before 6am because theres no buses and I've had several times of being late or not having a taxi to get to work. This is the worst company as a whole, no management, no order, the employees don't take their job seriously; Honestly I'd petition to have them shut down for all the inconveniences they have consistantly. This cab company has the worst business practices. They charged my card a $55.00 authorization for an $8.00 cab ride then when I called to ask them to reverse/release they said it was not them. The manager David is a horrible person. He argued with me up and down about how I was wrong and he couldn't see the charge. He stated that there was no way they made the charge because their system would show it but the merchant was them. It got to the point of screaming until I just hung up. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Everyone in Seattle NEVER USE YELLOW CAB!!! Use Orange cab if you are in the Everett area or use checkered cab if you are in Seattle. This morning I had to take a cab to get my dog to a vet. After we got to the Vet I tried to pay and my card wouldn't go through. I didn't know why so I tried other cards. None of them worked!! I asked him if I could run my dog inside because he's very sick and needs vet care. He leaned over the back of the seat and screamed in my face I don't F-ing care if your dog dies. It's not my F-ing problem. (All while he had me locked in the car!!!) I'll throw your dog out of this F-ing car! And then he calls the cops!!! They come and tell me I have to go to county jail because I own him money and its theft! Finally they decide to give me until the end of the day to pay. When I go in Pets Mart a couple people ask me if I got it taken care of. I explain what's going on and a few people go out and to pay. And none of their 3 cards work!!! So then the officer tries with his $40,000 credit card and that didn't work!!! HIS MACHINE WAS BROKEN!! I ALMOST WENT TO JAIL BECAUSE HIS MACHINE WAS BROKEN!!!!!!!! The officers yelled at him and gave him quite an earful and made him drop the waiting charge since he kept the meter running the whole time!!! It was really scary!!!! read more

Yet again another issue with Yellow Cab. I don't know why I keep using them. I get picked up to go to work across town. I tell the driver I have a certain amount on my debit card and I want to get as close as I can with that amount. Figuring I will just walk the rest of the way. This guy, as soon as he hears I am using my card, pulls over on the side of broadway demanding I pay him now. Even though we haven't even reached the destination yet. How the heck does he even know what I owe him when he hasn't even reached where I am going?!? Then he calls dispatch and tells them I have no money and he needs a new call. He was going to drop me off in the middle of nowhere. But even close to my destination because I wanted to use my card. I of course, being upset, started to cry and called dispatch myself. I take this cab company all the time and I couldn't believe the answer I got from them. They told me that he can demand payment up front if he wants because the drivers are independent contractors. So, basically the drivers can do whatever they want, treat paying customers like crap, and the company doesn't care. We had to move mid school year and so rather than having to switch schools mid year my 14 year old son takes a yellow cab every day and has been 5 days a week for 4 months. We have had nothing but issues with these guys. One of the cab drivers was yelling and screaming at my son because he didn't make it to the cab fast enough after school. Im sorry it's a problem to wait 4 mins for my autistic son? Sometimes the drivers just don't bother to show up at all and my son has to sit at school for an hour before he gets picked up. Today that same cab driver took pictures of my 14 year old child in the back seat while he was driving. My son is very upset he has been pacing all night. I imediatly called my son's school. Well the manager from yellow cab calls me back and he actually accused my son of making the whole thing up! Are you kidding me? This kid has been on the honor society for the last 2 years straight and got student of the month of his school in March. He is a very honest kid. What kid would make up a story like that anyways?? Booked a cab online last night for 6:05am to get the to the transit center at 6:18 which is five minutes from my house. At 5:25am he shows up. I say my reservation was for 6:05 and I'm not ready, he says he'll be back. I call at 6:03 for an ETA...he texts me back "I'm busy." I call the station and am told the driver cancelled the order all together. I tell them I have a 6:18 bus to catch and they say "Well, you shouldn't book online, that's for King County blah blah blah...well then your website should have said as such instead of sending me an email confirmation that I would have a cab at 6:05am then don't you think. Then I get a call at 6:11 that my cab is 5 minutes away. Do the math. I'm on a special 9 week program at work no late show or call outs...thanks so much for costing me my incentive that I'd been working so hard for. Guess I'll switch to North End Taxi.
