I sat in the front with him and chatted----he was funny and I enjoyed our banter. I gave him a 20% tip. He asked if he could pick us up after dinner and return us home---he requested that we call him 20-30 minutes prior. We telephoned 30 minutes prior and he said he'd be there in less than 30 min. He showed up nearly an hour later. I don't know what he had done in the 3 hours since he dropped us off but this was not the man who had picked us up. His behavior had totally changed---voice pattern was frenetic, his words were illogical, his behavior felt aggressive. What happened to the lovely man who drove us to dinner??? Due to this drastic change in behavior, I was frightened about his ability to drive. I was also concerned with his hostile tone of voice that he might harm us. All of us were so concerned with his behavior that we immediately stopped talking as he wasn't making any sense. The driver, however, continue on a rant with himself the entire way home---everything he said was totally illogical. Very concerning.

I had contacted Vince a few more times to confirm the other dates. Again, he never hinted there were issues. He just stopped replying UNTIL I advised him that I was going to cancel. THEN he immediately responded with "sorry for the trouble". My issues are: I'm handicapped and he knows that - would they have stranded me at the airport, stranded me at Monterey Bay Plaza and Spa with no way to get around, expected me to find other transportation and then happily let/expect them to take me to the airport when I departed. Now I have credits with the hotel and airline. It takes me awhile to plan things and I was really looking forward to enjoying a ocean and wildlife fix. I would have changed my travel dates if I had any idea there were issues. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of honesty and customer service that Vince displayed to me as a returning customer.
