Never had issues with helping me with my scooter, etc. I was quite generous with my tips. This year, I booked car/driver for 8/8-8/12. Spoke with Vince about dates and what I wanted to do. He mentioned it was car show week and that Nick was tied up. NEVER advised me to call another company or that they couldn't/wouldn't help me. He did confirm airport pick up and drop off. I had contacted Vince a few more times to confirm the other dates. Again, he never hinted there were issues. He just stopped replying UNTIL I advised him that I was going to cancel. THEN he immediately responded with "sorry for the trouble". My issues are: I'm handicapped and he knows that - would they have stranded me at the airport, stranded me at Monterey Bay Plaza and Spa with no way to get around, expected me to find other transportation and then happily let/expect them to take me to the airport when I departed. Now I have credits with the hotel and airline. It takes me awhile to plan things and I was really looking forward to enjoying a ocean and wildlife fix. I would have changed my travel dates if I had any idea there were issues. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of honesty and customer service that Vince displayed to me as a returning customer.

I was asked for our address, cross street and was told that the cab would arrive within 10 minutes. A sedan arrived. We were told when we tried to enter the cab that he could only take 4 of us, we would have to order another cab. I called the dispatch again and asked why we didn't get the van. She told me we had to "Double Cab". That they did not have a van. I told her we had used the VAN in previous trips, but she insisted that we needed to order another cab. (Of, course for another $20 ). On our way down Cannery Row, in our own car, what do we see? Low and behold, there was the YELLOW CAB VAN. Their name, same phone number.... Being an extremely frequent traveler I called as soon as they were 1 minute late after confirming the night before as most services usually arrive 5-10 minutes early. The owner said he'd check and get right back to me - he didn't but I called 4 minutes later - he said the driver would be there in two minutes - bottom line 20 calls between the owner and the driver who gave me multiple excuses and times I caught a cab after 40 minutes and missed my flight and the event I was flying into. The only thing the owner kept saying is "this guy is fired" which didn't solve my problem and he didn't offer any restitution. He should have checked that his driver was on the way 30-40 minutes before the time. I think this is a one man show sub contracting to whomever will take the fare - STAY CLEAR OF THESE GUYS IF ITS IMPORTANT TO ARRIVE ON TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really dislike YELP. I just discovered that my review of Yuvi Limo Service was "not recommended"…read morebut they left up ONE horrible review. Years later, I still contact Shane and use Yuvi Limo Service for all our ground transportation needs in the SF Bay Area. He's always prompt and helpful. I just can't say enough about the service. They've got several types of vehicle available, so when my boss and his family are headed out for a family vacation (more suitcases than people!!!), Shane sends the big SUV, and there's plenty of room for all the bags, and the people to ride in comfort and safety. When I've got last minute changes, Shane adjusts his team and has always taken care of my executive travelers. I have even used Yuvi for my own personal travel, and what a stress reliever that is for an OCD Type A like me!! Here's my original review, from June 2012. You can see it if you click through the "not recommended" reviews. Shame on YELP for hurting people's business by censoring for no apparent reason. :-\ "We've been using Yuvi Limo for a couple years now for all our company transportation needs. Shane and his team are prompt, courteous and helpful. On more than one occasion they have gone above and beyond to ensure my team arrived on time for flights, events etc. As a result of the great service we've been receiving, I even booked Yuvi for my own airport drop off and pick up for personal vacation, and loved the quick, safe trip to and from the airport. I noticed one of the other reviews indicates they (Yuvi) never got the text...perhaps the person didn't enter in the phone number correctly when they sent the text (?) I generally schedule with Shane directly, via email. He has always replied immediately, and confirms by phone as well. If you don't get a confirmation within a couple of hours of your request, always assume your message didn't make it and check with them."
