He assured me - do not worry, we will find you a driver and he will show up. Sure enough -he made his promise good. With such short notice for a major holiday, he showed up and drove me himself! He gave me a call back the night before to let me know what was going on, he gave me a 30 min heads up call in the morning, and he even showed up a little EARLY at that ungodly hour. He was professional, engaging, interesting, and all in all wonderful. I was very, very worried reading reviews about all the taxi services in the Monterey area- they were dismal at best. I was so lucky to find Dennis at Central Coast Cab! HIGHLY recommend!

Outstanding guided tour experience in Monterey!…read more We just completed a sightseeing tour with California Horizon Tours and couldn't be happier with our choice. From start to finish, this was exactly what we were looking for in a guided tour experience. Their luxury van was incredibly comfortable. The spacious seating, climate control, and smooth ride quality made the entire journey enjoyable. No cramped tour bus experience here! Our driver was fantastic and clearly knows Monterey inside and out. They took us to all the must-see spots plus some hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. Their local knowledge really made the difference in maximizing our time and seeing the best the area has to offer. The convenience factor was huge for us! Not having to worry about parking in busy Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur was such a relief! We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery instead of stressing about finding parking spots or navigating unfamiliar streets. The tour moved at a perfect pace and felt much more efficient than trying to do it ourselves. If you're looking for a stress-free way to see the Monterey and Big Sur area with insider knowledge and maximum comfort, California Horizon Tours delivers. We felt safe, well-cared for, and got to see so much more than we could have managed independently. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a premium sightseeing experience in the Monterey area!

Sometimes when I travel I do the driving, and recently sometimes I let someone else do most of the…read moredriving. My last trip to California was a combination of both strategies. We flew to California from Portland, Oregon. Rented an automobile in San Jose and drove down the coast after a few sights were enjoyed before we ended up on Cannery Row in Monterey. We then were picked up with California Horizons Tours and did the bucket list sight seeing in Monterey, Pacific Grove, 17 Mile Drive, Carmel-By-The-Sea, Big Sur as far as the McWay Waterfalls all on day one. Day two of the tour took us from Monterey down Highway 101 to the coastal area near Moro Bay after we had done the Grand Rooms Tour at the Hearst Mansion. There was nothing that the tour could do about the tempermental Coast weather, and a lot of the desired sights were reduced by the fog that started as we entered the 17 Mile Drive on day one of the tour. Fog was still a little bit foggy by Moro Bay. Our last day, saying goodbye to our tour guide was a San Luis Obispo City and County exploration with another car rental. Light beverages were provided as well as a very comfortable vehicle and an experience and entertaining and informative guide who took us to those places that we asked to see and provided time at many stops to enjoy the locations. We learned a lot and stopped at the few locations that the our guide knew about and sensed based on our interests would be more interesting. I like historic and interesting buildings so things I wouldn't have necessarily know about were added to the tour. I live in a wine growing area in Oregon, so visiting wineries were not neccessary. All in all our 4 days in California were wonderful. The weather was warm and dry. The traffic was much calmer while I drove, and while the tour guide drove. I never felt to be in potential traffic harm. My most recent vacation involved myself driving almost 2,000 plus miles in a rental car. This time over half of the driving was done by a profession which allowed me to take several thousand photos without worrying that I was missing something, or having to stop so often. I would recommend this business to anyone who wants to be taken around a very beautiful part of California, learning things, and just having a great time.

Everything is good." Deposit was processed. On June 23rd, of this year after the 2026 US Open I received "reservation canceled" w/out any reasoning. The listing fox LX 3 was pulled from VRBO. I located a listing on Air BNB for a substantial increase in the daily rate. After reaching out to LuxeVaca I was given multiple reasons for the companies cancelation- from the owner not approving the daily rate, then there was an integration error, to finally a third party software glitch. LuxeVaca has refused to honor the original contract. My deposit was refunded however, my contract was in place for over a year prior to LuxeVaca canceling and I literally at this late of a date cannot find anything else to accommodate my family for the 2027 US Open.

My family is currently packing up 3 days early from the Gold Beach property on the Oregon coast…read morefollowing several complaints to property management about animals in the house (mice and bats) which were met with the response "We're sorry but you're in the country, what do you expect." This includes a DEAD BAT we found under the couch and 3 seperate ones living and flying around inside. One of them lived in the primary bedroom making it unusable. We have saved the voice recording in case this needs to be escalated. 9% of bats in Oregon have rabies and having one living in the bedroom is a major health concern. The mice aren't very fun to live with either. The worst part was that, despite leaving early, we were assured there would be no refund for the nights we are not staying. Unfortunately we cannot post videos to Yelp so you can see them flying around nor can we post the voicemail they left saying "what do you expect, you're in bat country", but you can see the photo and screenshots! Stay clear of this company at all costs.
