if i am being honest 3.5 stars would be better. now let's start with the good part. the gyro is delicious! I went out of my way to come here for lunch after i saw a facebook post from the cheese steak adventures's guy pop up! it was from a while ago but i figured if he liked it... why not? the pita is really good. chewy. warm and moist. i got the classic (more to come) which is basically a gyro with the fixin's. lamb and fries tzsatiki. perfect. now let's move on to the staff and the restaurant overall. there are so many things wrong. the website will not let you honor several of the lunch specials. if you click on certain links they're no good. dont try to use them, since you will get to the restaurant and they will charge you for whatever the order would have been. i mean i want to save two bucks like everyone else. next, i'm going to agree with the many other reviews... why in the world can you NOT get sauce on the side if you pay for it? do they not have any lil cups?! i looked around this place is pretty cut and dry. i know it sounds like BS but i think they dont have those lil tiny cups. ...then there is the staff. i want so badly for them to hire the 'local lady who answers the phone'. they need it in the worst way. the guy who picks up is as fun as paint drying. it's a huge turn off for folks who know the food is good but the staff is not. will i be back... ?you damn right. but i am going to avoid a bunch of things from the jump: i'm only ordering online, if there is an upsell for sides and they do not have them i will just ask for my money back. they use toast for their ordering system and they will honor refunds if need be, and park around back. they have 2 spaces, the staff is using them too! i really hope things turn around in this location. they are not in philly anymore. it's the 'burbs baby! read more

Gave it one more shot today but I seriously doubt I will be back. The manager himself acted like it's too hard to go to the back of the store(which is how he put it) and fill in a very small amount of feta spread in a mini cup, even though I paid two extra dollars for it, like he was being inconvenienced . He also had to for whatever reason try and make a point that, if I got it on the side. He made sure I knew that he was only gonna do it this time. Like, whatever already. lol In the past, this was not an issue. Also, there's an option to get your fries on the side instead of in the pita and he literally gave three french fries in a bag separate. (granted, I'm not expecting obviously a whole bag of fries but come on.) Out of the past three or four times they've forgotten many things in my food and I haven't really said anything(because the employees were actually nice at the time, but not the owner tonight), and this is ridiculous now. Oh, and they got my appetizer wrong tonight. I asked for FETA Mini Phyllo Pies. They got it completely wrong and gave me spinach. If the manager/owner wasn't so rude then I wouldn't be so upset right now especially since I let them slide so many times. read more

The place is no where near the old place that was there, (Yia its all Greek to me) it's made of tomato, onions, cucumbers, feta cheese, green peppers and olives. I told them no olives but I got poor looking tomatoes , cucumbers past their time and huge chunks of red onion and no dressing i could taste. The feta was like shredded pizza cheese. Me and some friends were wondering what good eats we could find in the Media area. After a moment we found Yeeroh, a place that specializes in Greek food (including of course, gyros!). The service here was full of kindness as they were patient with us as we weren't ready to order before we settled on the gyros. We each grabbed one as I had the classic gyro made with chicken. You have the choice of other meat options for this dish and the other gyros including pork and the traditional lamb. Ordering some fries with our order we were slightly caught off guard to find out they put the fries into the sandwiches. Still they were delicious! We hope to come back in the future if we come to the Media area again. If you want to try anything different other than American culture food, try Yeeroh. Worst restaurant we have gone to in a long time. The sandwiches were mushy and obvious that they were hastily patched together. They were also cold and generally unpalatable. When we asked the staff to hear the good, they just pretended not to understand due to a language barrier. Maybe because we made that request, they then came and asked us to leave!! Although the reviews are good, I thought I'd be underwhelmed. I was wrong. It was delicious and packed full of ingredients, especially protein. Although both were good, I think I favor the yeeroh meat over the suvlaki meat due to size and eatability. The pink and yellow side sauces are a waste. In my opinion, you can mix your own mayo and ketchup or mustard. Save room for dessert. These were the real highlight and 6 stars all day long. We tried the marmalade-ish orange cake and the crispy pastry with vanilla custard....amazing. read more

I made their food look good in my photos, but meat sampler has gone downhill. This past time I got through the chicken, but could not do the pork (tough, lots of fat, very greasy). Everything else was ok, but unremarkable. It used to be better. Never was as good as my Greek go-to in Paoli, but Yeeroh used to be 4 stars for the lower price. The food was bland. I had to add salt to everything. The "pork belly" is actually a tough, teeth tearing pork chop. Pork belly is supposed to be like extra extra thick bacon. I couldn't eat my food. I brought it home to sit in marinade so that I can use it as meat for my pho that I'm making on Saturday. My coworker recommended this place. I was very disappointed. read more

I was a big fan of Yia, the Greek restaurant that occupied this space before Yeeroh, so I was hoping to really love it. Sadly, it was just okay to me. The pork souvlaki was good but I guess I should have ordered a sauce to go with it. The eggplant spread was good but not the best I've ever had. I was most excited to try the fried feta sticks with strawberry marmalade. They were good but would have been better if I'd eaten them in the restaurant iwhile they were still hot instead of taking them home. By the time I ate them, they were not gooey or melty which is what I was hoping for. And the strawberry marmalade? Sorry, maybe it really is homemade but it tasted just like Smuckers Strawberry Preserves to me. They need to do something to set their marmalade apart, maybe adding in some fresh herbs or something. All in all, it wasn't bad but it just didn't wow me. I do plan to give them another try sometime. read more

During the first visit I made to Yeeroh, I ordered the pork gyro. I found the meat to be very tough. However, I thought I'd give the restaurant another try. The second time, I ordered the gyro with the lamb/beef combination. It did not taste good and was dry. The service was wonderful but the gyros at least are not very good. I would love to love this place because we need a good Greek place in Media. read more

Gyros here have been uniformly excellent. We've tried pork, chicken, lamb, and veggie options and all were delicious and amply portioned. Lemon potatoes make a delicious, pleasantly oily side dish that is definitely shareable. I'm docking one star for the disappointing "Yeeroh Salad" which 1) amazingly does not actually contain any gyro meat, despite the name 2) had only greens, nuts, and beets, which did not make for a satisfying salad. read more

If you want AMAZING GREEK FOOD this is the place to come to. My co-workers and I order anywhere form 1-2 times a week from here. We LOVE the food, we LOVE the staff as well they are so nice and friendly!!!. We all always get the same thing but sometimes we get something different to spice it up. The create your own bowl is always our GO TO... I don't live around here so when I get a chance to have a family member come have lunch I always take them to Yeeroh. Their first response to me after they take a couple of bits is yup.. I get it now. The tzatziki sauce is my weakness I love it!!! We had the pleasure of also having a catered Lunch and let me tell you THEY TOOK AMAZING care of us.. the spread is to die for!!! Our falafel sandwiches were a disappointment. The falafel didn't taste very good--it tasted bitter and not home made. I wish they offered a salad as the side instead of the small amount of fries that comes with it. I felt like the price was too expensive for the little that we got that didn't taste very good.
