I believe the intentionly did shoddy work because i declined to have them do a $600 spark plug job. Was told my wires were oil soaked and they commonly come out of the tubes. No other mechanic agrees. Somehow a plug they say is oil soaked can push a tube off the safety clasp and 6" out of the tube. Ben was miserable to work with calling me after to yell and curse, making sure to add "your car is a piece of shit" and to tell me to "never come back" to his shop. Very disappointed, will be going to another mechanic to verify they actually did the work I was charged for. Do not recommend Ben Wade or Sparkys at all.

Not to mention-- my brakes were replaced and there is now damage to my passenger side front bumper, and so much plastic sticks out into my wheel well that it has been scraping and damaging my wheel! I am a student-- i did not need even more problems to my car than what I started with. I even called back to let them know what work had not been completed-- it has been a week and I have heard NOTHING back. Please get organized y'all, and do what was promised! They took a look at my vehicle and explained to me only my back breaks needed replaced. They explained and showed me what needed to be done and I was impressed with their honesty. While waiting for my vehicle I spoke to the owner. She made me aware they've been in business (if I can recall) for more than 20+ years and after dealing with them I understand how they managed to do so. I was very well respected and explained all to the "T". I came back today to get my tires rotated after a few months and once again I was treated with respect and my vehicle maintenance was completed in a timely manner. I have Alberto's Tire Pros 5 Stars because they very well deserve it. Anyone needing service done should check them out. She was told the problem was the wheel bearings and was charged $25 just for the inspection. Based on their diagnosis, we replaced the bearings--only to find out they were never the problem. Not only was the diagnosis incorrect, but they couldn't identify the actual issue and still charged an elderly customer for inaccurate information. That cost us unnecessary time and money. I understand that diagnosing vehicle problems isn't always easy, but if you're going to charge people for a professional diagnosis, there should be confidence and accountability behind it. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. I hope this encourages others to seek a second opinion before spending money on repairs based solely on a diagnosis from Alberto's. 0 star

They even identified damage that i had not noticed and repaired it. The repairs took a while, but they were upfront about how long it would take. But this is what blew me away. Not the alternator, but replacing the engine-cover plastic clips that were missing before I brought my Rav in. Did they have to do that, of course not. Did they charge me? No. Did they mention them? No. That got me thinking of the time before I brought my 2008 in. Although they addressed the light configuration on the dash as planned, I believe they also addressed replacing batteries on my TPS sensor system for the tires. Again, did they charge me. No. Did they tell me? No. Conjecture on my part - as this light hasn't come on for the last several thousand miles; but I believe they replaced the batteries to quietly show off their exemplary service. Without saying a word. To say that they've earned my loyalty is an understatement. I wholeheartedly give my highest recommendation and respect to Japanese Car Care.
