I'm really thankful there is a Discount Tires basically everywhere! And getting my rotation when I need it for free - excellent. I always make an appointment to make my life easier - pro tip. I've been buying here forever because they have great prices and the upkeep (rotation, flat fix) is almost always free! Excellent service, always kind and cheery! Thank you so much! read more

We are driving from Phoenix to Missouri, as I was driving to our hotel in Albuquerque I hit something in the road that punctured the sidewalk of one of my tires. It was 5:45 pm and there was no way I could get to Discount Tires before their 6:00 closing time. I put my spare on and was at Discount this morning when they opened. A young man named Alexander took care of me , and even though I had no appointment, got me out the door within 30 minutes with 2 new tires. I have been buying from Discount for years, but I will definitely be a customer for life! read more

My wife and I have purchased several sets of tires from Discount over the years and always have the maintenance done at Discount, usually the Menaul location. I made an appt for a balance and rotation and brought one of our vehicles in. The vehicle was in a service bay for approx. 12 minutes, considerably less time than it usually takes. I questioned if that was long enough for full balance/rotation and was told yes it was. However, prior to bringing in the vehicle I took note of the pressure in each tire. They were all different and slightly overinflated. In each previous balance/rotation, the tires were always adjusted to 33 psi each. In this recent service, I left with the psi for each tire exactly as I came in. It is clear the tech did not check the psi and I do not trust the balance was done either, given the much shorter amount of time it was in the service bay. We will continue to use Discount but will not use the Menaul location in the future. read more

I came in needing to fix a flat tire but ended up having to replace both of my front tires. My service tech was super helpful in finding me tires that are good tires but also fit my budget. He also offered to replace both of my windshield wipers for me which was a service I didn't even know they offered. They were quite busy but were able to get me in and out in a timely manner. read more

Good customer service, and extension of credit to help me afford new tires. I found out this business is called America's Tire where I was in northern California. I was a dedicated customer in California due to their work ethic as responsible business model and I am a dedicated customer here in Albuquerque because of the same high quality of customer care. Love you guys Discount Tire! read more

Love this place. The staff is also awesome Every time I come in they save me money and look out for the customers read more

Gave me the workaround for 2 hours and then refused to give me enough air to make it to another store.

Levi went above and beyond to get air in all my tires, including the spare. He had to drop the spare to get to the stem because it was upside down. read more

Chris is the pro you want to work with He was knowledgeable patient explained in detail my questions and with a smile to boot. He also talked me into replacing all 4 instead of 2 tires So I guess he is a good salesman too I recommend this shop and Chris. read more

I don't write good reviews often. I'm hard to please. Vince at DT did a very helpful "audit" of my car's tires so I would know exactly how much tread life was left in each tire. I realize they do this for every customer, but I found it particularly helpful because I had just bought the car -- a 2023 Audi. I hadn't yet taken the time to fully inspect the tires. I came into DT because I got a nail or screw in one tire just days after driving it off the lot. Also, I hadn't noticed that the car had three tires of one brand and the last tire of a different brand. Anyway, these guys have a process and it's efficient. They told me what they were going to do and exactly how long it would take, so I waited comfortably in their waiting room. In less than an hour, although they were very busy, they removed the screw from the tire, patched it for free, turned off the "flat tire" indicator on my dash and adjusted the tire pressure on all four tires to factory standards. This is such a contrast from other tire dealers I've dealt with. I will be back! read more

Dang these guys are nice!! Friendly and very professional....best tire guys by far!!! Got my free tire rotation, and they left me feeling safe and secure. read more

Had a blowout on our RV while traveling 2100 miles. Mando and his guys changed all tires on the rv including the spare and we were back on the road in 1 1/2 hours. Friendly and reliable staff read more

I am a loyal Discount Tire customer. I have never had anything but positive service from any of their locations, and I travel a lot! My tire pressure light came on when I came into NM and I immediately went to the nearest store. The associate was very friendly and he got my air checked as soon as I was the next customer. The only reason for the 4 stars is the location. This is not even close to being an ideal spot! Perhaps I'm used to the massive 8 bay stores that don't look like they were a previous oil change place. The parking lot is very small and is a hot mess when there are more than 4 cars. The entrance and air check signs are there, however, if you came in from the wrong direction, you have to find somewhere to turn around, as the parking lot is not an option. Also, due to COVID and this being a smaller store, people were waiting for their vehicles all over the place, which is not preferable. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Ron, the manager, is amazing. If you find yourself in ABQ and need tires, come to the Menual location. You won't get better tires or better service anywhere in the country. Big kudos to Ron, Alex and their entire staff. read more

Had an appointment scheduled; I checked in and waited (I was told to sit in my car and someone will come check on me). I waited for 45 minutes with NOTHING. I then see 3 vehicles get "checked on" and pulled into the bay that just pulled in after I've been sitting there waiting. I get out to ensure they didn't forget about me and 3 BOYS in Discount Tire uniforms walk by me, not even a look. The one person who finally acknowledged my existence told me to remain in my car and "someone will be with you shortly"... I waited an additional 15 minutes and still no help. Disgusting customer service. If you can't comprehend on how to run efficiently while under construction, then just close instead of wasting everyone's time. I made another appointment for a different location who I know actually gives af about their customers. Everyone at the Menaul location is lazy, dismissive and rude. read more

Really top notch place with on the spot workers ready to help out. Some people got discouraged by waiting in line but they left minutes before they could get help, not sure where you're going to go without a line. This is the worst run discount tire in the city employees are not polite or understand customer service . Just a poorly run store

I have been taking my car to Discount tires for years. Mainly the same location on Menual. Thou I live closer to the JT and Candelaria I prefer the great service and honesty I have gotten from Conner and crew on Menual. Just recently I had my tires checked for air at Juan TAbo location and was sitting in the Air Check point for 10 minutes. No one came by to acknowledge me. While I was waiting I called the store and pointed out I had been sitting there for 10 minutes. The person I talked to said he would send someone right out. After another 5 minutes, a crew member fills my tires. I asked him about the wear on my tires. He marked down that I needed 2 new tires. I took that info and went to the Menual store. I had Conner take a look at my tires and he measured the numbers were different then what the JT location had given me. Conner said my tires are still pretty good for almost another year. He said he didn't want to sell me something I didn't need right now. The Menual store has always been fair with me. Never a complaint from me and I'm picky. Besides the lack of Customer Service at JT, someone should at least acknowledge me. The crew person took the wrong numbers down and said I needed 2 new tires. I couldn't believe he would try to sell new things I didn't need. Conner was right on and said he couldn't believe where the other location got his numbers on my tires to sell me new ones. Anyway, Conner you are Awesomee! Fair and honestly that is what I have gotten from this location. Nothing less. Thankyou, Conner. read more

I have used this Discount Tire location twice and have been happy each time. My first experience was with tired I'd bought on eBay from Discount Tire Direct. This local store was happy to work with the online tires I brought in and the price was very fair. I was extremely happy with the mount and balance. Vince helped me on this visit. My next experience was when company was in town and had a blowout. We rolled in on a donut and ended up needing to buy all 4 tires. They could have taken advantage of the obvious helpless situation we were in, but their price was extremely good for the tires and again we rolled out and were happy with the labor provided. Kyle Hill (asst mgr) handled the transaction. After these two experiences, I will continue to rely on this Discount Tires location in he future. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Great company for off-roaders because they offer great replacement insurance on tires they can't repair, even if it's a puncture on the trail. Well worth it. My only complaint is it can take some time there if you're there during the busy hours. Still, I'll stick with them until they do me wrong. read more

Have been a customer for many years. I recently replaced my brakes and rotors, therefore I could not afford to change two tires for another couple of months. Stopped in to have one tire repaired because it kept leaking. When my truck was returned to me the cup holder was smashed into the dashboard and the repaired tire was over 40 PSI, which is very dangerous. Neither of these things accidental; they were intentional and malicious, another reminder of how Albuquerque earned its reputation. I will continue to warn people about this store, its dangerous employees and of course, I will buy my tires elsewhere! read more

Discount Tire - Yes, their staff intentionally damaged my vehicle and inflated the repaired tire to over 40 PSI. Be warned! - Tires Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

I woke up this morning to a flat, due to a piece of metal in my rear passenger tire. I got the tire aired up enough to drive down to the Menaul Discount Tire. This place is always busy but the guys are still pleasant and helpful. I will never buy my tires from anyone else but Discount, for their great prices and wonderful customer service. read more

I went to this location to replace 2 tires. I walked in, stood there waiting to be greeted as I didn't know if they were busy or not. Three workers: One standing at counter looking out the window, one talking to a friend (non business related) and the other is in and out. Only one other sitting down waiting. Not busy at all. Waited 25 minutes and not even an acknowledgment. Unacceptable. read more

I was told, by the Discount employee, that my car would be ready in two hours. The given time was 12:15. I specifically asked the employee if the time frame was an estimate or a "no later than 12:15pm". He explicitly told me it may be done sooner but not later. At 12:15pm, the car was still waiting to be serviced. I made my way back to the shop and was speaking with the employee; expressing my concerns about the wait time. He was completely nonchalant and dismissive. The employee told me by car still had another 45 minutes! So this is a total wait time of three hours to fix a nail in a tire!! Don't come here if you have something to do later, you'll be here all day. And good luck talking to the employees, they are useless. read more

Every time I go to discount I am always being upsold. I only want and need two tires why do I have to buy 4? This is my car and my money and most of all my life if I want only 2 new tires I will buy only 2 new tires. Another time my fiancé went in to get a quote on tires. And they told her she needs new rims because they don't make those tires anymore. So I had to go in and get understanding of what was going on. Nothing but lying and smoke being blown. Bunch of snakes! They must train their new employees on how to take advantage of the customer! read more

Bought a 21-year-old used car in Phoenix and found out the hard way that there was something very wrong with the tires. I have been a Discount Tire customer for many years, so I located this store in Albuquerque. I am sure I confused them because I really did not know what this care needed. Keegan determined that the tires were 12 years old and long past their replacement age. He located some good new tires and they were put on the same day. Another typical professional install. This store had the usually professionalism I have come to appreciate from Discount Tire. read more

Any time my car has tire issues, I bring it to this location. They are always polite, professional and empathetic. Wait times can be long, but there are only a few garage bays available for car tires to be worked on at a time so it's definitely understandable. read more

Every Discount Tire I have ever been to is the same. They are constantly trying to sell you tires before you need them and pushing extras that you don't want. It's slimy and shady. Makes you feel like you are on a used car lot. Plus they charge more for everything than any competitor. read more

I took my car to get my tire that keeps going flat fixed. They said they take a look at it and fix it. I go back and they told me they fixed another tired instead which was the wrong tire. Next day my tire gets flat again so I take it in AGAIN, and they didn't even fix my flat tire. Now I still have a flat tire after taking it to them 2 different times. I don't recommend you getting your tires fixed from this location ever. read more

I usually visit the west side location off of 528 and Ellison. Mainly because that was the side of town I used to live. Now that I'm on the northeast side of town this was my closest location. I will admit I went ahead and set an appointment ahead of time because I know weekends are usually very busy. Luckily, I was in and out! As soon as I walked in the door I was well taken care of. They came out with me to pre-inspect the tires on my vehicle and the milage. We then proceeded to the lobby where I handed them my keys and they did the rest. My car was in the vehicle bay within 5 minutes after they wrapped up with the vehicle previously in it. It took them about 10 to 13 minutes from there to balance and rotate my tires. All in all I was there for about 20 minutes total. I expected to be there at least an hour as that's my usual amount of wait time even with an appointment at the other location I usually go to. So I have to say being in and out of there in 20 minutes really impressed me and I was very pleased with them. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They just earned my business! I will be returning to this location not only just because of the convenience of the location but because of the great service and excellent knowledgeable staff. read more
