For context and a bit of background, I just moved here to Rio Rancho, NM from LA, CA. I haven't a…read morecar since 2022. Mainly because financing a car and renting in LA on my income was next to impossible. So I moved out of state and had been riding my uncle's son's bike to get around. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho are no doubt car cities. I needed a car badly. I had passed by M&F Auto Sales frequently on my way to get coffee at Starbucks. One day I noticed a red HOT car parked on their lot. I gave them a call and got Darren Martin on the phone. I asked him if they offer $0 money down payment to purchase a used vehicle since moving here cost me a small fortune and I had no more money on hand to spend especially for a car. To my surprise he said yes they do offer no money down. The next day I met with Darren, we took said red HOT car for a spin, and in two hours flat he handed me the keys. Fortunately for me I have excellent credit which also took me years to rebuild after being reckless with it as a younger man. Darren told me, "it's my job to get you in this car if this is the one you want". So, Darren and Gio ran the numbers, got me 100% approved, we did the paperwork and next thing I know I'm driving my new/used Mercedes GLA 250 4Matic SUV home. Listen, M&F Auto Sales are like my heroes. Darren was incredibly patient and kind, and so was Gio. They both walked me through every single detail and made sure I fully understood how everything worked down to the T. I seriously cannot thank Darren and Gio enough for working with me to get me in this car in record time. Buying a car is typically an all day event, at least in LA it is. But here in NM, they seem to get it done much faster than I've ever seen before. I was fortunate to had moved to a place literally down the street, and very lucky I got Darren as my salesman. These are great guys that know what they're doing. Professional, patient, kind and friendly. So if you're in the Rio Rancho or Albuquerque area and you're looking for a used car at an unbeatable price...do yourself a favor and go to M&F off Southern Blvd SE. Ask for Darren Martin. Thank you, M&F and Darren!

From the get-go, Marshall and Jose were absolute legends. Their energy, honesty, and expertise made the whole process feel less like car shopping and more like catching up with old friends--who just happen to know everything about cars and trucks. They didn't just go the extra mile--they went off-road, up a mountain, through some mud, and still beat my expectations. And then there's finance guy--aka the paperwork wizard. He somehow made signing documents (lots of them!) feel like a breeze. I expected him to pull out a magic wand and say, "Here's your dream car... and yes, the numbers actually make sense." I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. It's rare these days to find a team that combines professionalism with personality, but you all nailed it. I'm now proud owner of a Toyota Camry XSE, ready to tackle both the roads and the parking lots in style--and I have all of you to thank. I definitely be recommending M&F in Rio Rancho to friends, family, and random people admiring my car in parking lots (which I fully expect to happen). Thanks again for everything Marshall and Jose--you all rock!

I honestly don't know where to begin. This has been one of the most frustrating vehicle purchases…read moreI've ever experienced. I was originally offered what seemed like a great deal with a reasonable monthly payment and a low 4% interest rate. I was told I needed a cosigner, but instead of adding me to the loan with a cosigner, I was removed from the loan entirely and the vehicle was financed in my disabled brother's name. That should have been my first warning. I spent nearly eight hours at the dealership, only to be told they had lost the keys and I'd have to come back several days later to pick up the vehicle. When I finally received the car, I discovered it had significant damage that was never properly disclosed. It had obvious passenger-side damage that had ripped off the wheel trim and side step, leaving exposed sharp metal. The windshield was heavily damaged, and the braking system had serious safety issues. Despite being told the vehicle had passed a thorough safety inspection, it shook so violently when braking that I immediately had it inspected elsewhere. I was told the rotors needed attention and the brakes needed to be replaced. At first, the dealership refused to help, telling me I bought the luxury vehicle "as is." Only after weeks of back and forth did they agree to make repairs. Then, after I'd already had the vehicle for nearly a month, I received another call saying the original financing had fallen through. My mother had to finance the vehicle instead. Somehow, despite having stronger credit and better income than my brother, the interest rate jumped from 4% to 12.5%, and the payment increased by more than $200 per month. We felt completely backed into a corner. I was told to either sign the new contract or leave the vehicle there and find my own way home. Living an hour and a half away, we felt we had no real choice. The dealership eventually kept my vehicle for five weeks to perform repairs. When I got it back, it had hundreds of additional miles on it, the brakes were still squealing loudly, and the suspension issue their own service technician identified was never addressed. I now need an entirely new front suspension at my own expense. Four months later, I still don't have my registration. My temporary tag expired in April, and it's now August. I can't get anyone to provide another temporary tag or tell me where my registration is. I've made repeated attempts to get answers and have received no follow-up. Jenna repeatedly assured me she would help rewrite the financing into something more affordable and acknowledged that the dealership was "a shit show" and that she was trying to clean things up. Unfortunately, despite those promises, nothing has changed. This entire experience has been exhausting. Between the financing changes, undisclosed vehicle issues, incomplete repairs, lack of registration, and constant broken promises, I feel completely let down. I rarely leave negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what they're walking into. Buying a vehicle should be exciting, not months of stress, uncertainty, and unanswered questions. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and my even consider other legal action. My biggest question is simple: **Where is my registration?**

My bank was adamantly against giving me any sort of decent loan, despite my good credit rating and spotless credit history with them. A buddy of mine - one whom works heavily with cars - suggested I check out Reese's Car Connection. I almost didn't, given how far it was from my house, but I figured I had nothing to lose. The place immediately was underwhelming to me, the lot was small, and the office a repurposed mobile home. Something still drove me to check it out, and I'm glad I did. Within minutes, Reese and Luke found me a car that wasn't EVEN ON THE LOT YET! It was a beautiful Audi A4 - they let me take it for a ride completely solo, no pressure. They gave me a deal at 15k and even threw brand new tires on per my request. Reese handled the financing and found another bank willing to give me an even lower APR than I had been trying to get! 4 hours later, I had a new car, and wow - I couldn't be happier. Absolutely would recommend to family, friends and strangers alike.
