Called to try and get trick in for a diagnostic " loud band" in putting truck in park. Service dept lady was poor at communicating and had heavy Hispanic accent which I could not understand what she was saying. I'm a nurse and have excellent hearing. She told us it would take 48 hrs to diagnose and maybe long.er. I told her it was our only vehicle. She said she could do a loaner after having vehicle for at least 48 hrs. I asked if I could speak to someone with clearer communication. Another service dept employee asked what I wanted. I explained AGAIN that I could not understand her and other things. His response was, "nobody is perfect, this is the real world". I was like, what????? He was curt and dismissive with me. I'll take my new buisness to another dealership. The extended warranty that was sold to me fraudulently because the finance guy new the vehicle had altercations so when we tried to use the warranty to fix the 24k issue it was denied, DALE the ruddest used sales manager strictly told me to take me vehicle and leave and they Will not help fix the vehicle nor Buy it back. He was willing to work with us and make the deal work. Also, the General Manager Matthew was great! He helped us find discounts that we didn't realize we qualified for, like employer discount. The Finance Manager Eddie was super helpful and didn't try to upsell us on coverage. He was very transparent about benefits of what was offered and what made sense for lease vs finance, so we did add the tire & wheel coverage which is a great savings at lease-end. DONT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! My experience has been the most frustrating I've ever had. After reporting serious transmission issues including limp mode, jerking while driving, and even a "Shift to Park" warning that forced my girlfriend to pull over on the freeway in the rain, I spent over a month trying to get help. Instead of taking the issue seriously or simply telling me to bring the truck in, I was repeatedly given the runaround. On a previous visit, I asked them to look at my driver's seat. We ultimately agreed that they would leave it alone and only performed the transmission service. However, after I picked up my truck, the seat adjustment button fell off, and it was obvious it had been super glued back together. When I returned, they initially denied responsibility. Until I showed the manager the glue on the button. Only then did they agree to fix it. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been unacceptable. When you're spending this much on a vehicle, the last thing you should have to do is fight to get basic customer service. I strongly wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I was very excited about buying a new 2026 Buick Enclave RS, unfortunately I went almost at closing time to Yates Buick, and even though the sales process was easy, Mia Harmon, Finance Manager rushed me through signing the paperwork and pushed warranties and service because how much I drive and failed to disclose the cost of the warranties. When I left the dealership I didn't realize the trunk of the car did not open, manually or remotely, and the sunglass compartment was not closing. The next morning I felt anxious because the red Enclave reminded me of the car I had through my cancer battle. I contacted Derek Roller, Sales Manager, who agreed to change the Enclave for a different color. Chris Helm, Sales & Leasing Professional was helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and helped me find an Enclave I was happy and comfortable with. I was waiting for finance, when I noticed that the warranties and service Mia Harmon added to my purchase totaled $7,000, so when I went in her office to sign the new paperwork I told her I was going to cancel all the add ons because I was not aware of the cost. At that moment Mrs. Harmon's attitude changed. I felt like not only was I bothering her, she belittled me and judge me for owning 2 homes, and for my debt to income ratio, which was not an issue because according to her the loan had already been approved. I was judged for how much I drove, and was obligated to keep the warranties. The way I was treated not only upset me but gave me anxiety and I decided to leave the dealership, so I ended up with a car of a color that reminds me of my cancer treatments, with warranties I was forced to buy and keep, with a trunk that won't open, a sunglass compartment that doesn't close, with AC in the middle row that doesn't ventilate well, and CarPlay that needs to be setup every time the car starts. After the way I was treated by the Finance Manager, and the way I was coerced to buy $7,000 in warranties and service because of the amount of miles I drive a year, I now question if Buick is a good brand, or if Buick Enclave's are just not made to be driven. *I just got a call from the bank that financed the Buick Enclave and Yates Buick submitted an email account that does not pertain to me. The paperwork I signed has the correct email address, so now I'm worried about my personal information and wonder why the need to submit a fraudulent email address. read more

We just purchased a used vehicle and were told that we were getting a specific rate. When we went to sign the contract the rate was 3 points higher than what we were told. At this point we were $20 over what our goal monthly payment was. So I asked if they can make it right to get us to the payment we needed and they straight out said no. No explanation, no having the manager come speak to us and give some story that we would not even know if it was true or not. Just a no. When I called multiple times to speak to the GM I got nothing. This place is terrible. Do not buy your car here. First my car got broken into a month after getting it and when replacing the glass I find out there is no tint on the car. which was included in price on contract!! My safety glass is a darker color it's self. Then I have to get a coolant flush a few Months after buying the car because it had been diluted by said dealership. The car only had about 9,000 miles on it. It was dangerously low and could have caused damage to my car , luckily I took it somewhere else to be serviced and they noticed. Then I go in today with an engine code and they tell me to leave my car for 2-3 days just to diagnose it, and only then would I receive the free rental that in included with my warranty. Do not shop here. They advertised on COSTCO's auto program a 2025 Terrain for $26,900 and with the COSTCO discount of minimum $650 lowering the price at a minimum to $26250. Instead, they added $399 for window tint plus $1696 "Yates fee" (that's over $2000 from their advertised price) plus I was offered a very low figure for my trade in (below KBB wholesale value). I am also going to report them to the AZ Automobile Car Association and AZ Atty General for false advertising. I already filed a complaint with COSTCO; however, their misleading price of $26900 still appeared on COSTCO's website, last time I checked. BE AWARE OF THE YATES FEE! THIS IS A SCAM. I had been reluctantly researching Jeeps because the general consensus for flat tow behind my motorhome was a Jeep. I had read and heard things about a "Jeep" needless to say I probably looked at 30-40 Wranglers and I wanted to be sure about price, mileage and of coarse CARFAX. Not only did JOHNATHON and yes I shouted that because he deserves it he spent 2days with me all over the phone with videos and pics of this Jeep he had picked out for me. While at the Barrett Jackson Auction we allowed time to look at a used GMC Yukon Denali that had been advertised on the internet. It was a bit vague on the history of the truck as it showed first being sold as a rental. We also noted all 4 wheels had some significant scuffing on them. Also didn't show it had had the 60K service. We asked about the internet price which was lower than the price on the window, salesman said he would honor the internet price, told him based on other vehicles we had looked at even the internet price was a bit stiff, of which he responded they don't negotiate on price and there was some mandatory addons to the tune of approximately $2000.00. We had no trade-in and were prepared to buy the truck without financing, he stated they make money on financing so paying outright wasn't all that desirable. At that point we left! Since they don't negotiate on the pricing they have, I would assume fair being fair that they won't negotiate when you have a trade-in! Good luck, we definitely won't be back! read more

This one was tough for me and the Mrs. Tried to buy a Canyon Denali. Very nice truck. Basically the deal they wanted was full sticker minus GMC rebates and discounts. However the added the Yates Protection Plan and window tint stuff for 2k. Also you lose some discounts with the lower financing. Anyway got pretty close, with in 4000k of each other. We wanted to trade 2 cars in. One had equity one a little under water. We decided to trade the equity one in only. The difference between a kbb fair value and very good was around 3000 dollars. My wife told them to take the keys and go look at it. The Finance guy opened the door for one second and came back in and said no. The best they could do was 2k difference between our numbers. Would not budge. He didnt ask me to put more money down or he would work on the 2k of add ons or meet in the middle somewhere. Very bizarre. Literally full price plus their add-ons. Be prepared. I was ready to purchase and met with Lewis, a sales consultant, who initially gave great service. He presented two strong options and even matched a discount from another dealership. I told him I'd talk with my family and return the next morning to move forward. I came back Saturday ready to buy, but also ready to negotiate a few things -- specifically the Yates Advantage (a paint and interior protection plan) and the licensing fee, since I wasn't registering the car in Arizona. I made it clear that if it doesn't physically come with the car, I don't want it -- and I shouldn't be forced to pay for it. Lewis brought over Andrew, the Sales Manager. I repeated the same thing: I don't want the Yates Advantage and I won't be paying for it. Andrew looked at me and said, "You don't have to buy the vehicle." So I said, "No problem -- I won't." He walked away from the table, then came back asking, "So what are we going to do?" I stood firm -- if they weren't removing the Yates Advantage, I wasn't buying. He said "okay," and that was the end of it. So I left and went straight to Liberty GMC, where I bought a 2026 fully loaded GMC Terrain -- and for less than what I would've paid at Yates. Save yourself the time and frustration -- don't go to Yates GMC. They lost a serious buyer over a non-essential add-on I didn't want, and the sales manager's attitude made it very clear they weren't interested in earning my business. Extremely Disappointing Experience While my initial interaction with Moses, the salesman, was positive--he was friendly and upfront--the experience quickly turned sour once I began dealing with Andrew, the sales manager. From the beginning of negotiations, I was shocked by his dismissive attitude. Despite attempting to purchase the most expensive vehicle on the lot, I was told that because I live three hours away and have a California ID, they would not assist with pricing or shipping. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I own a vacation home in Peoria and made it clear that I was a serious buyer. After finalizing the purchase, I requested the vehicle be shipped to California. I was then told it was "unrealistic" to expect delivery within a week--something that should not be unreasonable for a $100,000 purchase. Even more disappointing, Andrew never congratulated me on the purchase. Instead, he threatened to cancel the deal--something he could not do, as my credit had already been run and my deposit had been processed. In my experience purchasing over 20 vehicles, this was by far the worst. When I asked to escalate the issue and speak with his manager, Andrew continued to deflect and make excuses. My husband spent a week communicating with a salesperson named Dylan, clearly outlining his expectations and the numbers required to make a deal. He was told--both over the phone and in person--that they would sell him the truck he was interested in for $22,500 (originally listed at $23,650). He made it clear what he was willing to pay, and they offered $10,000 for his 2014 Tesla Model S as a trade-in. However, Andrew O., the sales manager, kept trying to change the numbers to increase their profit, knowing my husband had a $35,000 Navy Federal check. After several hours, they finally moved him to the Finance department--where things got even worse. There, Esteban A. attempted to sell him a warranty that should've cost no more than $1,500--for three times that amount. At this point, my husband was already three hours late for work at the Air Force base, so he quickly signed the paperwork based on the numbers he last saw. Once we got home and had time to thoroughly review the documents, we realized they had switched numbers and rushed him through the signing process with distractions and pressure tactics. When we returned today to confront them, Esteban was extremely rude. I asked them to honor the deal as discussed, or we would return the vehicle. Esteban refused and claimed he had explained everything--something my husband firmly denies. He then said, "I'll pull the cameras," as if that would justify their shady behavior. UPDATE: If I could give a negative star I would. 04-13-25 Bought a 2017 F250 with a 4" lift. Within 72 hours we had a safety issue with death wobble. Called and reported to management and they stated we would have to go through warranty we purchased. Remember, THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. We live 125 miles away from Yates, so they took advantage of us not being able to just drive the truck back. We had the front suspension looked at by FORD techs and come to find out.... the aftermarket suspension is 2 different manufactures (APEX & Pro-Comp)... Anyone smart enough should had found this issue when truck went through safety inspection at Yates. So, Yates bought time from the 17th of April telling me they could not help until after Easter Sunday.... No... that was so the deal would get funded & they get PAID!!! So now, I have a truck we cant drive, called warranty and they will not cover the claim due to the issue was there at the time of purchase ALSO... warranty will not cover all the parts due to the lift kit not being OEM parts. So here I sit 04-23-25 with a truck my wife can not drive and enjoy... No one has called us back to follow up or answered any of our calls and text messages. I did receive ONE email on 04-21-25 stating they will give us $200 for the sway bar connectors and it was in good faith and no other money will be given towards the repair.... If I would have known the loan was not funded until 04-21-25..... I would have called the bank and declined the loan.... BUYERS beware!!! Maybe this exposure will get us somewhere!!! I have a stressed out wife looking at her truck she can not enjoy!! Shame on Yates, I know this industry and just basic customer service.... Its time for someone to step up!!!! Brought my 2016 Sierra in for an engine diagnosis. I was very specific about what I wanted and agreed to the $190 fee. Before having anyone look at the truck I was quoted over $13K for and engine and another $6k for the transmission, I drove the truck 8 miles to get there. The service advisor Ashley had me on a speaker phone with a tech - in the middle of my reply she hung up the phone and ended the conversation. Needless to say I was not too happy. She then texted later and said truck was ready to be picked up, I asked about a shuttle and she replied "we don't have a shuttle on Fridays". I called the dealer requiring about a shuttle, someone from scheduling called me back and said they do have a shuttle service today! I do not not appreciate treated rudely and then lied to! The service advisor which I'm leaving names out just because I'm nice, told me that they would need me to drop it off but wouldn't be able to give me an update until Monday. Fast forward to Monday, I get a call from the service advisor to tell me that my truck was STILL IN LINE WAITING TO BE SEEN and that it may be till tomorrow or possibly Wednesday until it would be seen just to see what the issue was.
