It is being my third time in this place and probably the last one. The food is average and honestly not worth the money. Fish and chips don't have any fish, just bread. Not a great experience. Wife and I ordered tacos. Bad decision. The tacos, side of beans, and rice came cold and the rice has hard. Also the portion size was embarrassing. I sent mine back and ordered a burger. The burger was good. How do these cooks think they can get away with this lack of attention? The manager removed one of two meals off the check. They agreed that the food was cold and the rice was hard. Be aware of these chain restaurants. There is a constant lack of attention in the kitchen. This Yard House has to do a lot better to compete. This time we ordered : Chicken nachos is always a good option especially for sharing . It's so much food but usually hits the spot well. Chicken tortilla soup was not what I had expected. The atmosphere and vibe at Yardhouse was very busy yet chill at the same time. Great space and place to hang out whether you're on a date or catching up w/ your gfs or buddies, coworkers, etc. They even have kids meal menu for those who gather with families. Lots of TVs and a large bar area to entertain everyone! Diego was our waiter and he did a superb job at meeting our needs. Rarely did we need assistance but he always made sure to stop by the table to check in, especially with our party of 13 with a mix of adults and children. Our orders (that I only managed to snap pics of since I didn't bother reaching the other end of the table lol) consisted of: Cobb salad- this is very simple but you can't go wrong. You have options to include proteins for extra but I did not do so since I also got wings. Wings- 10 pieces and nothing was left afterwards. Nachos- BOMB! Lemme tell you, I should've ordered this myself but I was able to grab a few bites from the nacho plate lol! Poke nachos- this is another hit with our table if you're into seafood. The truffles were an amazing take on a this nacho plate. Def getting again! Classic sliders- I personally did not try but my bro-in-laws plate was EMPTY!!! He devoured that! Location is perfectly nestled in The Collection and parking can be easier if you don't mind the short walk from the parking lot. If you manage to snag a parking in the shopping area, the meter doesn't charge much. Tonight, we were excited to meet friends and family for a Birthday Celebration . Our group had 6 people.When I arrived at 5pm, there were 3 young ladies at the hostess stand. I was told that our estimated wait time at 5:15pm would be 30-45 minutes. I then relayed this news to the rest of our family members . 25 minutes later, only 1 party had been seated. This is a place we come to often the worst thing is the parking which is not their fault and the wait sometimes but I think it's worth it. Food is always delicious my favorite is Poke nachos and NO OTHER POKE NACHOS CAN COMPARE TO YARD HOUSE. The last time we came for dinner sat at the bar and service is always amazing when we come here the staff really does everything to make sure you have a great experience. I usually go during happy hour and love getting the Frachos so it's half off, but for some reason, the quantity of the fries was not so big this time around. I'm not sure if they change the menu items a little bit but the quantity of the servings in general have not been so big. Not bad for a chain! There was a 25 minute wait, with lots of tables empty and not bussed so I'm guessing it was a staffing issue. When we did get sat our server was friendly but did take longer than usual to greet us and get our drinks and food out. I asked for water 3 times before I got any. Haven't been to this location of Yard House in a long time, the last time I went I had a burger from their anyways back to the review from today, we got their around mmm like 12:45 not bad for being a Friday their was no wait which was like a surprise I'm sure on holidays, super big events like Super Bowl or anything else. We instantly get to our table which was nice, just me and my dad. We had Chloe our server take our orders and drinks, gave us the nicest and most welcome when we arrived. We got their around onion ring tower for our appetizer, I got for my food I got the Korean cheesesteak sandwich with fries, both were absolutely amazing the wait was about if I had to guess like 10 mins or so for the food to come out nice and hot. I never thought of kimchi on a sandwich and I never tried it before it was really good. Ambiance was very chill the tvs were all playing the same football game which wasn't playing too loud either so props to that. I would be back to try another great food option at Yard House this location is great if you're in Oxnard! Thank you Chloe our server for being so sweet and awesome - we hope to give you a raise. The place, and concept, has potential, but the execution needs help. Service was painfully slow. We thought about leaving while waiting to order. Waiting for the check also was an eternity! I almost went searching for the waitress. This is a great place for beer if you sit at the bar. On a Saturday lunch time it was understaffed. So it took 15 minutes or more for the drinks to be ordered. Then 10 minutes to be delivered. I'm sure if we sat at the humongous bar the booze service would be good. Oh well. We wanted a table. The sangria is very good. The way they serve the House beer flight is great. Each glass was labeled and described. The metal tray it was served in was also cold. Like a mini cooler. I liked that a lot. But almost all the House beers tasted the same. No real variety. That was disappointing because they have 100 beers on tap. Why don't they give a sample of something special like a sour beer? Or stout? The sample was one IPA, which a nice mild one. But two wheats and the rest Pilsner or an ale was just boring. The cheese burger is just beef and lots of cheese. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no sauce (which is (good). I ordered medium and it was well done. But that's ok, it's a fatty large patty so was juicy, and the bun was good. Fries are medium thick, but boring. The 700 calorie menu beef bowl was ok. Not a large serving for $24. It was ok, the steak was slices and well done. Not medium. Don't order the pizza. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza is boring and tastes as if the crust was frozen. My suggestion is buy a 900 degree wood fired oven and make great special pizzas. You would make a killing. Great Pizza and 100 beers on tap sounds like heaven! I may return just for the bathroom. It was clean and I appreciated it had a nook to place a drink. Albeit, I haven't carried a drink with me to the bathroom in decades! If Yard house wants to hire me I'll make you the best bar at the Collection. Your beer selection is amazing. But Lazy Dog blows you away. Cheesecake Factory has better food, and for fun and live music, you can't beat Copper Blues down the street read more

My wife and I go to the Yard House once a year and tonight was the night. And tonight was an example of why we only go once a year. Yard House has a gluten free menu, but it's not in the main menu. Our server brought me the gluten free menu, but there were no prices listed. I asked our server TWICE about the prices, I might as well been talking to my fork.. Never got an answer !! Our waiter took our order and then we never saw him again.... Someone else brought our food, and we had to wave down someone to refill our drinks. Gluten free burger was good, but they need to learn how to lettuce wrap a burger, it was badly wilted. Maybe In-N-Out or Carls Jr can teach them how to lettuce wrap a burger without getting mush for the lettuce.
