First time in this new location, looks very clean and nice! Irina was amazing, did a great job on my hands and feet! Love the bright pink ("brand color" :-) Wish more people knew about this dry manicure - pedicure place and give it a try! Much better and safer and cleaner than traditional nail salons.

This review is for the eyebrow lamination, tint & shape. I've seen this trend all over social media and decided to give it a try. I grew out my brows for 2 months. Today Tanya did an AMAZING job I am so happy the way my eyebrows turned out. I also get my manicure & pedicures here at YARCO. I've been a loyal customer for almost two years. I am VERY VERY picky and I'm so pleased with all my services here. Do not hesitate to give YARCO a try you will not be disappointed. All the ladies here are so helpful and super nice. I have had very thin nails my whole life, so I need to keep my manicures maintained in order for my nails not to break often. I have been getting acrylic nail extensions for years and noticed that my nails were getting severely damaged from how rough acrylics are, so I decided to see if there are any nail techs near me that do Russian manicures (since I would get them whenever I was in Russia and LOVED the results). For some reason, Russian manicures weren't very popular in the USA until a few years ago so I couldn't find anyone local to me (in San Francisco) but I found Yarco Studio in Mountain View! I have been coming to Yarco studio since they first opened and I will keep coming back as long as I live in the Bay Area. I drive over 45 minutes to this salon for my nail appointments because the quality of their work and customer service is unmatched! Lena is an amazing nail tech and my nails end up PERFECT after every appointment, I am very picky about my nail shape and I have never had any issues or ever had to come back for a broken/chipped nail. When I was getting acrylics I would need to get a fill every 2 weeks because they looked so outgrown, but with a Russian manicure my nails last 4-6 weeks without any breakage and they grow out so naturally! I noticed my nails and cuticles started to heal with time and my hands are finally back to being healthy and recovered from acrylics/harmful chemicals they endured for years before. The manicures are a little more on the pricey side but it's so worth it once you see the quality and how long the manicure lasts you. Russian manicures are healthier for your nails, they last longer, and they look so much better!

Great customer service! They greet you with a beverage and chocolate. And if you're a new client they gift you a cute goodie bag with cuticle oil and lotion, that was a nice touch. Now for the nails themselves... Bema did overall good job with the exception of a few nicks/cuts when cutting my cuticles. I have 4 cuts that still sting. Hopefully that won't happen again at my next visit. But the paint job was good pand very detailed. I tried my first Russian manicure at a diff location and can tell the difference in their technique. This place seems more authentic Russian manicure. Let's see how they hold up. I'll follow up with retention feedback in a few weeks. Overall do recommend this place.

I normally don't get manicures, and so I came in for my first one when I was getting engaged. The staff did a great job answering my questions about how to best take care of my nails. I liked the manicure so much that I now pretty much constantly have my nails done. My favorite tech is Anna, and she always does a great job with my nails. So much so, I trusted her without a doubt for my wedding nails (French pictured). She went the extra mile to shape and paint the nails to perfection, paying attention to details and constantly seeking my feedback on how they were looking. Attention to detail and responsiveness to feedback are two consistent traits I've seen with Anna, so I would recommend her without a doubt! I also cannot speak enough about the quality and longevity of the nails! First, they've enabled my nails to grow the longest they've ever been without breaking, an impressive feat considering I work with my hands in a lab all the time. They also last and look great for over a month - I've gotten multiple compliments on them 3-4 weeks post-manicure, and people are shocked when they learn they look that good for that long. I could probably push the time between manis longer, but I just get annoyed with the nails growing too long. Overall, I would strongly recommend this place. The vibe is professional and the manicures are high-quality, definitely making them worth the higher price point. I love always feeling put together and not having to worry about my nails for a month at a time.

Decided to try out the "Russian" or dry manicure and was pleasantly surprised w the results. My manicure definitely lasts longer than my typical gel manicure and the overall look is a lot better. I think it's important to note that the gel setting for the base and first coat BURNS! I thought it was just me but the first time I went another customer made that comment to the tech. I've been 4 times now and it's the same every time. It's also A LOT pricier than your regular gel manicure and takes a lot longer. So prepare for that. This salon is very clean and the staff is attentive upon arrival. After that it's pretty quiet and every time I've been there the only talking I really hear is between the nails techs or if the person they are working on happens to speak Russian. But personally I don't mind a quiet session. All that said, here is my experience(s) breakdown: Cleanliness: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 (they offer water, tea, etc. when you arrive), the only down side is they have a tv playing what seems like "travel blogger" videos with techno-like music as a backdrop ON LOOP. So if you're there for 60-90 mins and can't tune it out, it'll definitely make you a little crazy Staff friendliness:4/5 (based on above note) Manicure quality:4/5 (one time I had a different, presumably new tech and my manicure was def different, and this last time there was a little bit of "spill") Overall, it's worth trying it at least once and see if it's worth your time and money.

I cannot recommend this nail salon highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The space is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has a calming atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel like a pampering retreat. I had a manicure at Yarco Mountain View yesterday. I had a "dry" manicure with a "top master." I was happy with my nail polish, but not with the abrasions on my cuticles, which today are scabbed over. The sores sting when I wash my hands, which is unfortunately a possible entry for infections. I have gotten "dry" efile manicures for 8 years and have not experienced cuticle abrasions. The technician was diligent and thorough, however I did not expect injury. But this does explain the legal waiver a customer is required to sign before service. This salon has a serious business vibe, super clean and somewhat clinical. I have been in salons with a warmer sociability with more ease of customers and employees. read more

The salon offers Russian manicure services, and I would never trade it for anything else! This was my second visit to the salon. I recently moved, and it's the closest one to where I live now. It's hard to book an appointment with the top nail techs, but it's possible if you schedule in advance. I also like their waitlist -- it's a great way to snag a manicure quickly if there's a cancellation. As for the quality, everything lasts perfectly with no lifting. The only downside is the slightly high price, and I hope they don't raise it with the new year. read more

To start off, the pictures speak for themselves. I recently visited Yarco for the first time, usually opting for nail salons in SF, but needed a last-minute appointment. I'm typically quite particular about my nails and tend to run late, but even though I arrived 15 minutes behind schedule, they graciously accommodated me. However, I'd recommend being on time to prevent any possible cancellations. The Russian manicure was absolutely worth it, with meticulous attention paid to detail and cuticle care. I usually go for short, nude-colored gel nails, and they met my expectations beautifully. The studio itself was impeccably clean, and they skillfully removed my previous hard gel nails. This was my second time coming to Yarco for a manicure, and I've had a great experience both times. I arrived a little early but they were able to accommodate me. Marine did an amazing job-- she was very attentive to detail and ensured at multiple points that I liked the shape, color, length, etc. The place is clean/peaceful and they offer a beverage during the appointment. Russian manicure is on another level! You cannot compare it to any regular salons in the Bay Area. It differs in the way they cut your cuticles. After they are done, there is no space between the cuticles and the nail polish. They look instagram worthy! My technician was Lena. I have never had my nails looking as beautiful and flawless as they do now! I am very happy with the results. They look thin, natural, neat, evenly filed. Wow. Good job ladies! read more

Overall, it was okay -- the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was polite, and the pricing was reasonable. I had three broken nails, and they were nicely reinforced, so now I don't have to worry about accidentally ripping them again. However, there were a few things that disappointed me. The appointment took a bit longer than I expected. And just two days later, I noticed that the cuticle work wasn't done very well -- there are still visible bits of the eponychium (the thin skin at the base of the nail), and on a few fingers, there were gel polish overflows that I had to file off myself. read more

If you want a gorgeous manicure that lasts, go here!! Yarco is the first place I've gone to where my nails lasted longer than a week (in fact, I only went in after a month because they grew out). They lasted through my oily nail beds, hiking, cooking, cleaning, and so much more. Pro tip: go see Ilona. She makes sure each nail is done perfectly, and makes sure you are happy with the outcome. read more

I thought all was fine.. Then the next day my nail chipped again!!! I was so disappointment.. I will not be coming back here..this place charged $55 for a fill which is very cheap..but cheap obviously does not equate to good quality.

Russian manicures are much more expensive than the regular gel manicures I've been getting for years, but I think they're well worth it and I'm not sure I can go back to regular anymore.
