Olga altered her schedule so that she could come over extra times throughout the day since the dogs had to stay inside due to the cold. She kept in close contact with me on the weather and when she thought it was safe to let them stay out. The facility and the staff were absolutely amazing for our two Great Dane boys. They would match the play group with their personality and activity, which they would come home tired and happy from a fun day. They also loved every staff member and were always happy to see them when they arrive! One of our pups had surgery and couldn't stay home after the first couple weeks due to our work, but their "Day and Play" program is exceptional for needing to be away from other dogs until medically cleared. Despite being alone, he had a buddy throughout the day for low-level play time and enrichment to keep him busy. We highly recommend taking your dogs to Central Bark in Atlanta! We honestly wish we could've picked them up and take them with us to our new home destination. Even if your dog can't be with other dogs for some reason, they will not be bored! We miss them dearly!

Given that this was a membership based program and I had to kore or less commit to a day, I took some time to sign up but finally gave in. We even enrolled her in circuit training to get all her energy out when she's there. A few notes: * pickup and drop off is a breeze, as the reception is always well staffed even with a constant flow of people. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. * the facility is clean, staff are friendly and professional and they have a lot of play areas for the dogs * circuit training is amazing. Zara loved it.. we got a detailed report and videos and she looked like she was enjoying herself to the max. * it's been easy to adjust Zara's days as needed through a phone call or email. Since you are charged every week, you can either ask them to fit you in on another day that week if your schedule changes or just have that credit build up - to use for daycare, grooming or boarding. * they offer personal training as well if you want them to help you out with some behaviors, commands etc. Overall, we really like this place. The staff knows Zara when they see her and she is excited to go to CBA. We've even gotten her on to two days a week since she likes it so much. Btw: they have some parking spots around their facility but a lot of place to park on the street (it's not busy so that works out) especially for drop off/pick up at the busy times. They also offer grooming services and a mini store where you can get tags, treats etc.

Took their food and bowls but was told they provided bowls, so they gave me back my personal bowls. Wen I returned to picked them up and brought them home, both dogs started coughing. By the next day, their symptoms had become worse. I took them to the veterinarian, where they were diagnosed with Kennel Cough. I contacted Frogs to Dogs to inform them of the situation and was told someone would get back to me. Unfortunately, I have not received a phone call, text, or email addressing my concerns. I understand that kennel cough can sometimes occur even in vaccinated dogs and in boarding environments, but I am disappointed by the lack of communication and follow-up after reporting what happened. She was everything I hoped for in a sitter and more, going above and beyond my most hopeful expectations. She was responsive, dependable, friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and all around wonderful. I can't begin to express what a relief it was to have Janet watching our cats when everything else seemed in chaos. My husband and I were trying to navigate a trip to help my elderly mom after knee replacement surgery (the day before elective surgeries were halted due to COVID-19) and had the trip extended unexpectedly when we realized she needed way more recovery time. When I had to change our first meet and greet due to my flight getting canceled five times (due to the pandemic) she was understanding and accommodating. When I finally got back (for just one day before returning to my mom) Janet listened attentively when I introduced her to our three kitties and when I showed her the medications for our elderly cat, asking great questions. When we were gone she visited our kitties twice a day, every day. She sent the most adorable pictures after every visit so we knew our cats were being looked after, along with detailed text updates and even occasional videos of them playing.Her messages were a ray of sunshine in what was otherwise chaos. If all that weren't enough, she found a better way to give our 19 year old IBD cat his twice daily medication AND she gave him his subcutaneous fluids. Having Janet as our guardian kitty angel was like having an old trusted family friend looking after our cats.

Recently our pet sitter through Critter Sitters retired and we met with our new sitter one time. Everything seemed fine and we were scheduled to go out of town and had confirmed with the new sitter employed by Critter Sitters that everything was in order. Yesterday I asked for clarification about the billing since it seemed substantially higher with the new sitter over what we had paid previously - in response, I have been told that the sitter's schedule has changed and that I should seek care for my animals elsewhere. With little more than a week's notice, this was very unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I've tried to communicate my experience to the owner of the company but the line has been busy for some time; will update this review if new information becomes available but sadly, I can no longer recommend this business and would seek care for pets elsewhere. Update: the owner responded and while appreciated, I find the way this situation was handled by Critter Sitters very unprofessional. I can include the text conversation for reference as I did not negotiate: I asked a question about a price difference between two different sitters employed by the same company, a difference of over 300 dollars. The only "policy" I see enforced or followed here is poor customer service.

Would not recommend for long-term boarding, especially for dogs needing coat maintenance…read more I boarded my Shih Tzu here from July 11-22. She has a drop coat that requires regular brushing to prevent matting -- I know that's not something a boarding facility can do for free every day, and I never expected that. At drop-off, I explained this to a young woman, possibly Haley (who was doing intake) and the groomer, who happened to be there. I even brought my own brushes and asked for her to be brushed 2-3 times during the week. I was told they'd check with the groomers. We also scheduled a mini groom for pickup day, July 22nd. Over the following days, I checked in on the webcam when I could and noticed she was looking increasingly disheveled. On July 19th, I reached out again to confirm the grooming appointment and to ask if anyone was brushing her, since she looked matted on camera. Haley responded right away and said she'd ask the groomers. On the morning of the 22nd, I got a call from the groomer explaining that my dog was severely matted and would need to be shaved down. When I reminded him I had specifically requested regular brushing at drop-off, he asked who I'd spoken to -- it became clear that the request had not been passed along or acted on for the entire two-week stay. He was apologetic, waived the dematting fee (which I would never have paid), and said he'd try to save as much coat length as possible. When I picked her up, it was obvious he'd tried, but the result was thinned out, uneven and choppy -- chunks clipped short around the mats, with a longer matted section left near her neck and tail and her top knot was a dreadlock. She looked worse, not better, and I had to book an emergency appointment at PetSmart of all places afterward just to even out her cut. What frustrates me most is that this was preventable. A specific, repeated request was made at drop-off and again mid-stay, and nothing happened until the final morning when it was too late to do anything but shave portions of her coat. Why not just do a proper cut? I was hoping this could be a regular daycare spot for my dog since I'm heading back into the office a few days a week, but after this experience I won't be returning. Not only do we love them for boarding but decided to give them a shot for grooming as well and we were not disappointed. The facility is well-kept, employees know Simon by name, and rates are competitive. We were very sad to leave Spot for Dogs when we moved from East Atlanta, but B&B has fit the bill. Thanks for all that you do, Simon loves you and so do his pawrents. 5/5
