Staff welcomed us, we got some drinks and had such a fun time sniffing all the endless possibilities we could create. Once we had our fave lists together and sat down to create the scent... I ended up not loving mine. Even with their help and some tweaking, I just wasn't feeling it at all, which was a little disappointing for me. I did end up finding a happy medium in the end.. and honestly I was having such a good time with my family that I didn't let it bother me anyway. BUT when I picked up my candle the next day... I was completely blown away !! The scent had mellowed out and smelled way better than the day before. Like it was basically what I was looking for ! I guess sometimes it's just like that. So if you're not loving what you made... just wait until you pick it up and give it a sniff then. I will definitely be back now that I have my list of favorite smells and cant wait to make another.

I found a great faux fiddle leaf tree and tried it out in the space I was looking to fill in my bedroom. After trying it here and several other locations I decided I wanted to return it. I called several times last week to try and make sure I would be able to return it, as this tree is about 6' tall and is very difficult to transport. I finally left a voicemail on their machine on Sunday. They got back to me on Monday saying I would need the receipt and in 15 days of purchasing. At the time I couldn't find the receipt, but went searching and found it. My boyfriend took the first part of the morning off work to help me transport it, as we both work until 6:00pm (when the store closes). When I brought it in the sale person said we also needed an additional receipt that had some 25 digit code on it. She showed us an example of one at the cash, which was stapled to the credit receipt. My receipt had no staple marks in it, and we inquired as to why mine may have not been stapled as well- also why I was not told about this particular receipt I needed. Mine says "Amanda's House of Elegance" on it and shows the price of the item. I don't think it was fair to turn us away. I must say, I was extremely disappointed in the service. This item was almost $300.00. I am clearly a potential customer that is willing to buy high end items. I would have expected better service and more willingness from the staff to satisfy the customer. Though I prefer to shop locally, I will not be returning to this store. I can't see how this business could ever compete with stores like Homesense (which has a 30 day return policy) or Pier 1 (which has a 45 day return policy) with no hassle and additionally has much more competitive pricing.

I wanted soy candles in jars that could be reused once the candle was used. I also wanted candles…read morewith scent descriptions that made sense; for example, what on earth does 'Moon Beam on a Beach" smell like? After looking online I finally located Pure Integrity Soy Candles and made a large purchase of 8 - 16 oz candles. I am so happy I found this company, their candles are amazing. These candles are slow burning and last a long time, I have had nearly half a year since my purchase and I still have 5 candles jars unopened. I burn a candle 3x a week for an hour or so, sometimes more days, sometimes longer burn. I tend not to burn the candles for too long because their fragrance is strong enough to fill my house with these shorter burn times. Their candle scents and the cleaner burning soy do not trigger migraines (cheap candles can). I love all the scents I purchased: Lavender, Rose, Lemongrass & Clary Sage, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Lemon Drop, and Gardenia. When I received my order, I received 2 sample tealite samples of their Honeysuckle Pear candles - which I loved. I love the fact that their candles smell like you think they should. Lastly, the 16 oz jar candles come in an attractive glass frosted jar with a wood lid that can be reattached with ease and securely stay on. Once I finish using a candle, I clean the jar and reuse e.g. small apothecary jars. Lastly, the staff takes pride in their candles - when they shipped them to me (across country - I live in Nevada) they carefully wrapped the candles (not one broke in transit). Moreover, they took the time to write a note of care and concern in a time that COVID is ruining our social ties and way of life. As long as Pure Integrity Soy Candles remains open, I will be making my yearly candle purchase from them - their candles are high quality.

I ordered 16 sets of an item and received it in bulk which was confusing. I am now packing my own "sets" of this item to give out as gifts. Very poor service in my opinion.
