I ended up not loving mine. Even with their help and some tweaking, I just wasn't feeling it at all, which was a little disappointing for me. I did end up finding a happy medium in the end.. and honestly I was having such a good time with my family that I didn't let it bother me anyway. BUT when I picked up my candle the next day... I was completely blown away !! The scent had mellowed out and smelled way better than the day before. Like it was basically what I was looking for ! I guess sometimes it's just like that. I also wanted candles…read morewith scent descriptions that made sense; for example, what on earth does 'Moon Beam on a Beach" smell like? After looking online I finally located Pure Integrity Soy Candles and made a large purchase of 8 - 16 oz candles. I am so happy I found this company, their candles are amazing. These candles are slow burning and last a long time, I have had nearly half a year since my purchase and I still have 5 candles jars unopened. I burn a candle 3x a week for an hour or so, sometimes more days, sometimes longer burn. I tend not to burn the candles for too long because their fragrance is strong enough to fill my house with these shorter burn times. Their candle scents and the cleaner burning soy do not trigger migraines (cheap candles can). I love all the scents I purchased: Lavender, Rose, Lemongrass & Clary Sage, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Lemon Drop, and Gardenia. When I received my order, I received 2 sample tealite samples of their Honeysuckle Pear candles - which I loved. I love the fact that their candles smell like you think they should. Lastly, the 16 oz jar candles come in an attractive glass frosted jar with a wood lid that can be reattached with ease and securely stay on. Once I finish using a candle, I clean the jar and reuse e.g. small apothecary jars. Lastly, the staff takes pride in their candles - when they shipped them to me (across country - I live in Nevada) they carefully wrapped the candles (not one broke in transit). Moreover, they took the time to write a note of care and concern in a time that COVID is ruining our social ties and way of life. As long as Pure Integrity Soy Candles remains open, I will be making my yearly candle purchase from them - their candles are high quality.

Yankee Candle seems to be the best contender, it is the only one in the mall that can fulfill such an odd desire. It's mall location doesn't seem to bring down it's customer size but it certainly doesn't give the space that Yankee needs to be fully developed. The store is cramped even when you are alone and with their being center tables filled with delicate jars that may tumble over if you collide with them, you will have to walk with caution. Both walls to the left and right are covered with different sections of various candles containing different smells in accordance to either fruit, season, location, or even flower. They all come in different sizes and shapes from tiny stubs to large jars with the price rising on each size increase you take. I myself have never actually bought anything from this Yankee Candle as I spend most of my time in here taking the lid off of all the candles and taking in the odors of all the varieties of these jars. The prices are a bit hefty if you want to buy more than just one candle but don't let that deter you from not coming inside the store. You are encouraged to smell any candle you like regardless if you choose to buy it or not. Have a strong grip though because if one of those jars slips out of your hands, expect a glassy mess soon to follow. The employees are more than happy to assist you in your quest for the missing smell, just don't do it in front of them, that may come across as a bit unusual. Somewhat of a mixed bag of high prices, small space, but also having great customer service, an excellent selection of candles, and permission to freely sniff them all of your own accord, this can be a great pit stop if you need a break from shopping, just don't bring your food in with you.
