Sweet potato roll AAC roll Philadelphia roll (no salmon) Peanut Avo roll

This place has officially become our go to sushi spot in Rogers. Great quality, super affordable, and just all around great. We're both vegetarians, so sushi can be hit or miss. Usually it's just cucumber rolls and maybe avocado if you're lucky. But this place has so many good veggie options. Everything we've tried has been fresh and flavorful. Our favorite is definitely the sweet potato roll. It's warm, crispy, and just insanely good. We also love the AAC roll (avocado, asparagus, cucumber), and there's one with avocado and peanuts that sounds kind of weird at first but is actually amazing. The combo totally works. We even get the Philadelphia roll with no salmon, and it's still super tasty. The staff are always friendly and super accommodating. They're happy to customize rolls however you want, which makes a huge difference for us as vegetarians. It's just easy and relaxed. The space itself is also really nice. Open, bright, and clean. It has a fresh, modern feel without being too fancy. Just a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a good meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Or even if you're not, honestly. It's worth the trip.

Yanagi is such an awesome sushi restaurant! Amigo roll is a dup to a roll at Billy sushi! So good! Jamie is the best server and introduced us to the tartare app that is SO good and is my new "always order" appetizer. Bonus for having a good glass of Joel Gott Cab and Sapporo beer! I used to live DT mpls and this place makes me so happy I don't have to drive downtown to get sushi! Thank you to the team that works there! They are awesome!

Totally forgot to take photos of all our food, but was highly impressed. Sushi was perfect. Not too much rice, seasoned great! We got Tako yaki and beef negimaki. Both were great. Service was awesome. The server was very attentive to our two young kids, included them. Food came fast. Drinks constantly refilled. Would return again. Glad I don't have to drive too far for good sushi.

Very high quality sushi spot especially given the location. They've updated the interior a lot from previous restaurants in this location and it looks great! The service is very attentive and friendly. The food was similarly fantastic. While I wouldn't quite rank this as TOP tier sushi, it's just a hair behind that - and again, given the lack of anything close in the area for this level of quality, it's well worth a visit. We LOVED the Triple A Roll, as well as the Monkey Ball. We didn't have the same level of appreciation for the James Bond Roll, but even that was about average and the only one we might not order again. Lastly, the appetizers and Japanese Fried Rice were also top notch!

Sashimi lunch

Really good spot for a nice dinner or lunch. Great food, friendly staff, good vibes. They have a nice lunch menu which seems fairly priced. Really like the teriyaki bento boxes, good variety. The sushi/sashimi is also very good. Mmm yummy clear soup.. Hope they can stick around, seems to be a tricky location for restaurants. It's nice having something more unique in town.

Have been wanting to try this spot for months after seeing it recently, it did not disappoint! One of the best sushi spots in the state that we have been to. On time, easy to order online, great take out. Very cool inside as well. Only knock would be the price. We got 4 basic rolls, rice, crab ragoons and cowboy roll- price was $71.

Yanagi Sushi - 4 stars! This was our first visit to Yanagi. First of all, the restaurant is very beautiful, bright, modern looking, and clean (including the restrooms). It's very welcoming and friendly. Our customer service was also excellent. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We went with hot green tea, bacon wrapped chicken skewers (appetizer), and 4 styles of sushi rolls. Everything was fresh and flavorful. LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's actually pretty simple (and tasty) to eat low-carb, keto style at Yanagi. You're definitely good if you stick to the lower carb sushi roll options and sashimi. Of course, you'll also be good it you go for items like miso soup, chicken skewers, seafood, etc. I avoid high starch items like noodles, giant rice portions, deep fried breaded stuff (they use soybean oil in their fryers), and any sauces that are likely to contain added sugar & vegetable seed oils. Good stuff. I'd go back again any time. Thumbs up! -Maxx

A very clean and modern restaurant. Proteins were EXTREMELY fresh. Some of the best sushi I've had in the Midwest. Servers were very attentive and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Stopped by for lunch with a party of 2. It was not busy at all. They have a huge menu selection that included not just sushi but other entrees as well. We opted for sushi and it came out looking delicious and tasted great too!

We were excited to try this new spot in Rogers. We happened to visit during happy hour, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff was kind, prompt, and happy to explain the menu as needed. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was particularly calming. We will definitely be returning.

Dropped in randomly since I had time to kill mid afternoon. Hadn't heard of this place, stumbled across it, and am glad I did. The ambiance is awesome for a smaller sushi shop. Decor is neat. Food was very good. Price is very good for single serve rolls. Service was very friendly and quick to recommend when asked. I will stop in again and highly recommend!

So happy to have found a great sushi place nearby! We've done takeout and dine in, and no complaints. Food and service was excellent!

I ordered…read morethe filet mignon hibachi and my husband went with the spicy crab roll and the Anchor's Tattoo roll. Everything we had was flavorful and fresh - the hibachi was especially delicious, even if it wasn't the full show-style experience you might expect from a traditional hibachi place. The rolls were well-prepared, with good texture and balance. Service was friendly and quick, and our food came out without much wait, which is always a plus. That said, the interior could definitely use some updates. The decor and furniture feel worn and outdated, which stands out more when you consider the price point. It's not enough to ruin the experience, but a little refresh could go a long way. A few small things: the spinach salad served with the hibachi wasn't my favorite - the dressing was a bit off for my taste - and I missed the usual mushroom soup that typically comes with hibachi meals. Also, a heads-up to fellow diners: the fried rice came with chicken by default, which wasn't listed, and I would've preferred the plain white rice instead. All in all, Hajime delivers on food quality and service. With some minor adjustments and a facelift inside, it could easily be a standout. We'll be back!

The server was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave solid recommendations. The American Favorite Roll is the best and is a great option for everyone because it doesn't have raw fish. It was about 80% cucumber with barely any crab, which wasn't what we expected. Unfortunately, the service really overshadowed the experience. We weren't greeted when we walked in, and things felt off from the start. We had a stroller with us, and instead of helping us find a comfortable spot, we were initially directed to a booth that clearly wouldn't work. When I asked about it, the waitress moved a couple of tables and pointed us to an end table with an uncomfortable chair. I politely asked to sit somewhere else, which felt awkward to even have to do. There were also a few moments that felt careless, like when she reached over my baby and stroller to grab a drink instead of going around. That's just not something you should risk. When I finished my salad, she told me to keep my fork rather than bringing a new one for sushi, which came off as odd. I also know how to use chopsticks so it seemed weird to assume that I didn't and would reuse my fork. The waitress didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and we didn't feel acknowledged at any point..even when we left, despite being the only customers there. It's a shame because the food, music, and overall vibe had potential, but the service really took away from the experience.

There are many options for AYCE sushi, but this is one of the best places. You sit down and order per round. There might be a limit to how much can be ordered at a time, but I have not "hit the max". There is a good selection of food categories to choose from--appetizers, sushi (nigiri, rolls, sashimi), noodles, fried rice, and more. To top it off, the restaurant is connected to a mochi donut place. Get some Donuts for the road! Pros: They have weekend lunch prices Very consistent with food quality Ramen is included with the AYCE Great prices for kids Cons: The food service has been slower during peak times. I occasionally had to find someone for a fork replacement or something else, because no one came by for a while.

It is handicap friendly, and fine for kids. They have an all you can eat sushi option (which we did), or you can just order by the roll. They also have poke bowls. There is a selection of beer and wine. The food is really fresh and quite tasty. We have been here before and have always enjoyed it, and would recommend it. The down sides; 1) The restaurant is pretty loud. There is no carpet or anything to absorb the sound, so it just bounces off the walls and seems very loud. It isn't horrible, but it could be an issue for those sensitive to loud noises. 2) Even though there are a lot of employees buzzing about, service is pretty slow. This trip we received our first order of food before we got our beverages, and after that we had to wait for each order of food. Our server seemed to be new, and was very apologetic, but when we have been there in the past service has always been a bit slow.
