The food was pretty good. I had 1 lb snow crab legs and 1/2 lb shrimp in garlic butter seasoning. The price was a little high but my husband and I wanted to try the pick your boil concept. We will probably return and I would recommend the restaurant. However, this will not be a regular place we go because of the cost. But we did enjoy our meal. The service was ok. First for dinner in Warner-Robbins, usually a quick in and out. Found Yami Crab on-line and decided to try it. It was very crowded and since I was alone, I sat at the bar. So I wanted to like this place. Stopped through Warner Robins and saw this new spot. It's the typical Juicy crab type place BUT.... it really wasn't that good. I had the snow crab and they were small and pitiful. No meat. The sauce was tasty but overall not worth the price. Plus I felt as if they seated all the people of color on one side of the restaurant. We tried out the Yami Crab tonight and were pleasantly surprised. Felicia was our server and she was great although she was busy and not as attentive as I would like but thats ok. The food was amazing and thats a lot for me to say. My wife had a shrimp Po Boy and OMG she couldn't eat it all and their fries are amazing. The reason I gave it a 2 was because the food was good, but service was deplorable. The shrimp cocktail was ordered as an appetizer and brought out with main course. The food was brought out but there was no silverware. After 5 minutes my husband finally went to the bar to get silverware and ordered a new beer. Drinks were never checked on. The food server said she bring a bucket for the crab and never did. The waitress did not check back until 10 - 15 minutes later after food was served. My husband needed tartar sauce. No wipes were provided at the end of the meal. The waitresses stood around talking to each other instead of serving. Never saw a manager walking around checking things. Been there 3 times so that tells you how good it is . Had great waitress's the first two times . The last time we had a party of 9 and the shady waitress added 18% ( which is absolutely normal ) , but when my husband added an additional $40 because the bill was $200 she never mentioned to him that the tip was included . First, they advertise drinks and don't have alcohol because they don't have a liquor license. Secondly, they add 18% gratuity for a party of 6. The tables had to be rearranged because they are too close. We were actually facing waiting customers while we ate. They only gave us one cluster of crableg when we were told 2 equal a half pound. It took about 20 minutes to get the second cluster. My shrimp were rubbery. Definitely not worth my $42.00 for a combo and appetizer. read more

This was our first time to Yami Crab and we were disappointed in that others told us we could get a low country boil here and that is not the case. We ordered crab legs and got two clusters with two small potatoes and a piece of corn. The crab legs although tasty did not "snap" when we used the cracker and the meat was a little hard to get out of the soft shell. There were quite a few people waiting to get seated when we got there and put our name on the list. Looking around, there was a booth empty and two tables empty - - the young lady who was acting as receptionist seemed lost. All three vacancies were not filled at the same time. Me and my friend went to Yami Crab in Warner Robins, GA last night because we wanted seafood and also (they have happy hour everyday from 3-6.) I have never had such delicious food, great atmosphere, good drinks, plenty to choose from on the menu, and management that was very attentive ALL IN ONE PLACE! I loved every minute of it. However, the funny part happened after we left (tried to leave) the restaurant. I left my keys on the table under a napkin and they got thrown away with the rest of everything. This is where the hostess Kiana stepped in. She let me use her phone( mine was locked in the car.) Then, the manager Dave had an associate, along with my son dig through 5 or 6 bags of trash and they found my keys! I was so happy! I will definitely be going back for the great food but also for the spectacular service I received last night. Thank you Yami Crab and associates for everything! Especially Kiana and Dave. read more

The first visit to Yami's was with my exercise partner. We had a great waitperson, Alex. The recommendations were good, but we had our tastebuds ready for a shrimp po-boy sandwich...a good choice for lunch. Because of the tasty sweet potato fries and cole slaw, I convinced my hubby to try Yami for supper a week later. At the end of the meal he asked "when are we coming back?" One of our appetizers was great, the shrimp cocktail. Do not order the cheese mussels, they were awful. One of our entrees was great, the fried oyster basket. Don't get the crab cakes. They did have very good cole slaw. Unless you're into lots of crab legs , or country slow boil, this might not be the place for you. read more

This restaurant has some of the best seafood I've ever eaten. I was raised on the Atlantic coast and always had great seafood. The service was great also and it helps that they take reservations. The wife and I tried the recently opened Yami Crab in Warner Robins yesterday for lunch, and, well...I guess "meh" is a perfect word to describe the experience. That, and extremely irritating. Neither of us was familiar with the "boil everything together" style of seafood cooking, and we both found out that we didn't much care for it, so that part of the bad experience is on us, but I suspect the food wouldn't have been very appealing to a lot of people who do like that style of cooking. We got a steamed/boiled order of shrimp, and while they weren't bad, exactly, they were nothing that I'd bother going back for either. Also, we ordered them with the lemon pepper seasoning and, while I'm not sure exactly what seasoning we got, it most definitely was *not* lemon pepper. Plus, that particular part of our order was a jolly mess to try and eat. Yeah, I know that's part of the shtick of this cooking style, but it didn't appeal to me in the least...it was just a mess. Also, this is the only seafood place I've ever been in in my entire life that didn't give you at least a couple of hush puppies to go with your meal (you have to order them as a side here...same with the sausage that I have always been told is supposed to get cooked in with the seafood, helping season it.) And, as it turned out, the hush puppies were about 50% uncooked in the center. My wife drank water with her meal, and I might as well have. My "sweet tea" was little more than sugar water...it was a *tiny* bit darker than her plain water was, but there's wasn't enough tea in it to taste...and my refill was even thinner. Speaking of drinks, despite having various cocktails and wines advertised on their menu, the only alcoholic beverage you could get was a handful of beer varieties. I guess there's a hangup somewhere with the liquor license? One positive...the order of fried calamari we got along with the fries that came with it were quite good...crispy and not greasy at all. If we ever go back here (not likely), I will stick to the fried menu and leave the boiled stuff alone. Service was friendly enough, but slow (it took a long time to get my "tea" refill, and the bill so we could pay and leave...plus, our silverware had to be brought out by the hostess instead of our waitress, and it came out after our food was served and sitting). Considering the amount and quality of the food we got, it was a fairly expensive meal, too. And, as if to make sure we didn't have an even halfway decent dining experience, we had the misfortune of being seated around the corner from one of the loudest groups of people that I've ever encountered in restaurant. Our ears literally rang from the noise level on several occasions. It just wasn't a good dining experience at all. I might give them a 2 and 1/2 star rating if that was possible, but it was definitely not worth 3 stars. read more
