My favorite was the mackerel and eel because of their strong flavors. The rolls were also quite flavorful, with lots of different flavors and options. The fish to me didn't taste very fresh and seemed more chewy, especially the shrimp. I tried the White House, which tasted fine, but it was so heavy with thick cream sauce. Overall, I guess, it just didn't measure up to the quality that I am used to, comparatively. The vinyl booths were outdated, and dishes made me feel like I was in a cafeteria, white and light plastic. This change would probably elevate the experience and, possibly, even make the food present and taste better. However, maybe this is the theme that they are going for. Though all of those things should be improved upon, I do have to say that the staff was very attentive and kind. I know that a lot of people love this place for their reasons, and my best experience there was them. The last comment I will add is that, when it comes to celebrating a birthday, the celebratory music that is played, is just too loud.
