You can truly tell how much creativity and care goes into the menu. The wine was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was just as impressive -- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever feeling rushed. MeeshMeesh is the kind of place that makes dining feel like an experience, not just a meal. One of the best restaurants in Louisville, and definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to. Highly recommend for a date night, celebration, or anyone who loves trying unique and delicious food! Just beware it is pretty much reservation only! It took me 3 months to get a reservation for a Wednesday night!!

I was able to score a visit recently on Derby Week, and that will be one of the highlights of Derby Week this year for me. We arrived shortly before our reservation time after hearing that our table was ready. I was seated at the bar, to be joined by my good friend a few minutes later. The cocktail menu sounded intriguing, and I started with an Oopsie Daisy and she sprung for Fighting Words. As we sipped our drinks, we perused the menu and decided on an array of mezze as our meal that night. Crispy cauliflower arrived first, followed shortly by tuna tartare, then whipped labneh and spring pea hummus. They even provided a gluten free pita option for the gluten sensitive in our party. Out of our choices, the cauliflower and the spring pea hummus were my favorites, although everything was very good. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and kept our waters full, cleared plates as appropriate, and made sure we didn't need anything else during our visit. Worth every one of its 5 stars, I think you'll enjoy Meesh Meesh just as much when you go, too!

Fantastic spot in the Louisville food scene. Great highlands location (yes, it's in one of the bar…read moreheavy zones, so if that's a negative, go on a weeknight, but I've never had trouble getting in, finding parking, etc.). Service is friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is kind of a relaxed vibrance...there'll be some lively tables and some quiet date night style spots steps apart on any given night, and everyone is happy with their own thing. Nice little patio space when the weather is good. Having the buried the lede, I'll of course comment on the food and drink--all around excellence. The cocktails are creative and delicious (the golden hour, I think it was called, is one of the most unique and enjoyable sips I've had in a while...not often I see turmeric in a drink, and perhaps less often that it hits, but this is a refreshing and tasty gem of a cocktail). Nice wine selection, with a few you're not going to find elsewhere. The dishes vary by season, but I've yet to see one miss (didn't love the burger myself, but others I've dined with have, so maybe was just an off night for mine...have always loved seafood and pasta options here). Stop in, you'll be happy.

Entrance into the restaurant is lovely and unique with a semi-enclosed winding path leading to the door, as well as multiple cozy seating areas to relax while waiting or perhaps linger after. We were seated upon arrival and within view of the semi open kitchen, which was bustling. We ordered drinks and shareable starters of crispy Brussels sprouts and glazed carrots, which were delicious and prepared well. Appreciated the presentation. Service staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Restaurant had a mild noise level, but felt cozy and relaxed overall.
