Best chicken sambo around! Perfect amount of spice & the fries had just the right amount of crisp. Can't wait to go back!

We've been to Nexx Burger a few times now and it's consistently great. We usually go for the…read morechicken burger, the regular hamburger, or the chicken strips, and the food is always on point whether we use the drive-thru or eat inside. Today was an especially nice visit! The atmosphere was perfect--good music, entertainment on the TV, and the A/C was at a comfortable temperature (not too cold, which we appreciated). The vanilla smoothie this time and it was delicious. I didn't catch her name, but I want to give a huge thank you to the girl at the front register; she was very kind and welcoming. We left around 4:40 PM, and another team member even held the door open for us on our way out. It's those small gestures that make a big difference. Overall, a wonderful experience--today was a standout!

Tasty and good as always, but the Chicken club sandwich was a disappointment. 2 pieces of chicken barely fit the bun with bacon. My wife doesn't squavel like I do. My first job was in food. But she said it was still good. If it's going to be the strips used for the Chicken club make them a bit larger at least sticking out the sandwich. Otherwise.... Place is clean and busy as always and counter staff as friendly and helpful as always Thank you for dinner

Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill…read more This is a review for my dining experience at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill. https://www.bbqgrillpitmasters.com/ My friends and I enjoyed eating at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill. Words to describe the cuisine would be sophisticated and elevated BBQ with Romanian fusion. Very flavorful and filling! LOCATION: It is located in the food court at Stonewood Mall. HOURS: They serve lunch and dinner. 10:00am-8pm SERVICE: We were greeted with a warm smile by Lori. I have never tasted Romanian food before, so I was excited to learn about their menu. She recommended several items for us to choose from. MENU We ordered the 3 MEAT COMBO PLATTER: You can select different meats. We chose: pork belly, sausage, and ribs, with corn and french fries. Wow! Every bite was delicious! I loved the seasonings! Salty goodness from the pork belly, the Romanian sleeveless sausage, "Mici" made from beef and pork was perfectly seasoned and paired well with mustard, and the ribs were tender and fell right off the bones. None of the meats were tough and were very scrumptious! :) ------ BRISKET SANDWICH -Delicious! The brisket was very tasty and was definitely the star of the sandwich! The bread, cheese, and the veggies that accompanied the brisket was the perfect ratio. I could taste each element in every bite! Other dishes we ate: PASTRAMI SANDWICH: Fun fact, Pastrami originated from Romania! Pastrami comes from the word pastramă which means to preserve. So of course their pastrami was top notch! BURNT ENDS TRITIP SIDES: For the sides they were all yummy. Sides they serve include frenchfries, vegetables, macaroni, mashed potatoes, and corn. My personal favorite was the mashed potatoes! They were whipped to perfection and creamy. I enjoyed the meal with my friends! I liked the presentations of each dish. The generous portions, fresh ingredients, and the garnishes on top of the foods made it look very special. We had to give accolades to the cook, Manny who made each dish. ***All in all I had a great experience dining at Pitmasters' Society BBQ Grill! If you are a meat and potatoes person, THIS IS THE PLACE! Their specialty is their grilled and smoked meats. It is great bbq packed with unique flavors inspired by Romania. Everything is fresh and appetizing! Poftă bună! :)

I wanted to try a little of everything so I ordered the 3 meat combo (chose ribs, chicken & brisket) & a burnt end pork belly / sausage mix. I really enjoyed the baked beans, burnt bit pork belly, & brisket - they all had good flavor. The chicken was good and not dry. The bbq ribs was decent but not super juicy / tender. The sides were a miss for me (besides the baked beans), the fries were a bit soggy (I mean could be because I got takeout), and the flavor of the slaw and the potato salad (?) could be better imo. But overall the bbq was tasty and is a fantastic value & i would order again to try more of their selections!

This Downey location has been on my list of to go to places. Ive heard mixed reviews so I was not in a complete rush to go here. This location has been used for many movies, commercials and tv shows. I kinda thought it was a tourist trap using that to keep busy. You know only going there because movie was filmed here. My son & I were in the area and decided to give it a try. When I walked in it was it was like I was transported back to my youth. Everything from the jut-box, booths, counter, stone wall and whole atmosphere was like back in the day. For a Saturday afternoon we seated immediately, so that was very impressive. Looking over the menu there were so many choices. I choose the triple decker turkey sandwich. It was AMAZING and their fries so hot and crispy. I will definitely be back in try breakfast.

They were so delicious! I ordered the breaded chicken dish and it was all bad. Nothing good about it. Their salads are basic and a waste of money. The bright red (not normal looking) piece of tomato fell on my baby's blanket by accident and I have yet to be able to take off the stain. What kind of chemically processed tomato are they serving!? I've scrubbed and used all kinds of soaps and nothing..... The chicken seasoning was just a ton of seasoned salt on top of the chicken. I also got the burger which is just what everyone should stick to. It's the best thing they have. I keep coming back because there is always seating available and it's easy to dine in but I ALWAYS hate using their restroom. They have not put any money into making it look or smell nice. The drains always smell like sewage. And the worst of it is that now that I have a baby, I went into to change his diaper and no changing table in sight. I thought this was a family restaurant. Will not be coming back until they add a changing table.
