Make sure to wait on the roadside opposite if the lines is too long to not block the road ( someone will tell you that). They are efficient and my car was washed very thoroughly with lots of bird shit and snow. For $3 more, you also can get the interior clean and vacuum. Overall, the soap water initially was using a pressure spray and water was washed by a water hose (lower pressure). But it was gentler than the machines. They ensure to clean the top of my SUV as well which is nice. The interior windows are also cleaned up so I love that small detail. Total price for a SUV (exterior and interior) cost $35 and I gave tips as extra. They take CASH only. Will come back.

I was a little confused at first about where to find this place -- it's located in P2 of the parking garage at 131 Dartmouth. You have to get a parking ticket but he validates it for $5 for 4 hours (usually it's $11 for just 1 hour) - now that I know that, next time I'll try to take advantage of it on a day where I can spend a few hours in the Back Bay. As far as I could tell there is just one guy working here so it's probably a good idea to call ahead or plan to spend at least an hour or so in the area. The guy was really friendly and clearly takes pride in doing a job well done. I don't think you can find someplace cheaper than this, and the quality was as good or better as places where I've paid quite a bit more.

I paid $10,000 to have XPEL PPF and ceramic coating done on two vehicles here, and I regret…read morechoosing a detailing shop over a dedicated PPF installer to save money. The PPF work was subcontracted out, and the quality was poor. On my Range Rover, the film around the rear tailgate was left with a wide, unwrapped edge and an exposed seam that started lifting and trapping dirt within a few weeks. This is a straightforward area to wrap, and it contradicts what I was told before booking -- that edges would be hand-cut and wrapped with no exposed seams as much as possible. When I asked for a repair, the owner Rogelio's answers kept shifting: first that the shop no longer works with the subcontractor, then that some parts "can't be wrapped," then an offer to just add more ceramic coating on the edges. Only after I mentioned I might leave a review did the owner offer to have the panels redone -- and framed it as costing him $1,500 to make me happy, as if a defective install was a favor. The part that ended the relationship for me: when I couldn't find my XPEL warranty confirmation (it turned out to be in my spam folder though I doubt I can utilize this warranty ever), the owner proposed issuing me a Lumen warranty for film that was actually XPEL -- in other words, a warranty from a different brand than what was installed and paid for! I told him I don't want to be sued, and he says they will never be able to figure out. I declined. Whatever the intent, I'm not comfortable with a shop that would suggest that, and I will take my car elsewhere for the repair, having learned my lesson.

Please email our Customer Service team at satisfaction@scrubadub.com with more details so we can do that. Thanks! Answer: Let's not be glib, "Kory V." My experience was not "less than exceptional." It was horrible. What exactly do you need to "discuss further"? You have my narrative. You have the photographic evidence. Why do you need to "have a conversation to ask questions." You have all of the details. My bumper was clean before the wash. It was filthy after the wash. End of story. You pull up, throw your car in neutral, and it pulls you forward as your car gets sprayed, soaped, battered by those rubbery things, and then dried. -It's $10 for the basic wash. That's a decent price in 2025. The OK: -It's just that, basic. There's no quality control, or guys wiping it down at the end to finish drying, and make sure no spots get missed. You get what you get (we did have some spots that didn't get clean), and it's a decent wash at a decent price. We're apparently horrible parents for not getting two consecutive car washes. I agree we're horrible, but this is not why.

My only recommendation is if you get a mobile detailing, just put your car in a spot where the nearby area can get dirty for a bit until it rains so your neighbors don't also cry :) I probably should have parked at the very end of the lot, so it's more my mistake than theirs, but they took care of it right away.

FYI, the undercarriage wash starts right away, so be sure to drive in slower to get a better clean. Rest of my wash went well. After the wash, I took a look at the car and it seems the top of the back window area was still a little dirty from suds. I did also attach a photo from the roof of the car, which looks absolutely pristine and ultra reflective. I went in with a pretty dirty car that had dust all over, old water stains on the roof, and some streaks of mud/dirt on the doors. Save for that spot on the top of the back window, everything else looks very clean and I'm pretty satisfied, especially knowing the bottom of my car got a decent cleaning from the salt during the winter months. In the end, they fixed what was requested, but I still question the attention to detail. Not consistent.
