They held my car for a day and a half and wasted my time with three trips just to deliver a job that was embarrassingly bad. For $800 I expected professional work and got amateur trash. The tint was covered in huge bubbles, they hand-cut ugly jagged circles around plastic parts, the windshield tint was crooked, and there was a hair stuck under the film. Every inch of their work screamed incompetence. When I complained Alex, the owner's son, had the audacity to call it flawless. I had to force them to remove it all so I could take it somewhere that actually knows what they are doing. I could have done a better job with my eyes closed. I really would like to recommend this business, but I just cannot. I left my car there and was generous with the time that they could keep it, but they took advantage of that and kept it for over 30 days. They were supposed to do 5 things to my car and they barely did 1 1/2 of those things. I would text and call and text and call and keep getting excuses from Alex and even flat out lies about what was going on with my car. I finally found out that one of my wheels had been damaged and they had to take it to get repaired. They did, and when I finally got my car back, I found that 3 of the 5 things I asked them to do were undone. One of the things they did for me does not work, but I refuse to take it back to them. I just consider it an expensive lesson learned. There are plenty of other businesses that provide similar service. I don't know who these negative reviews are but I had a very good experience so far. Talked to Kyle and he set me up with an appointment the same week and Roger found out I have a bad amp ( 4x100W (Arc Audio pushing competition Hybrid Audio 61/2 " components). I had to leave for a road trip so we will decide what to replace it with when I get back, but this place came highly recommended and I have been pleased with the service and communication so far. I suspect most of these bad reviews may have been from young guys with little experience and unrealistic expectations who may have been too cheap to get big guage wire and were running dirty signals to dirty amps and blaming the blown mediocre speakers on the installation. I know the type of guys. It's like blaming the mechanic for putting " recycled " crap oil barely suitable for a lawnmower into your engine, and then running it for 10,000 miles with a dirty filter and blaming the shop for a blown head. I look forward to finishing my review when they install a good quality amp like am Orion, Arc Audio or kicker. read more

Seems this place needs a lot of work. First start with management and work your way down. First your alarm installer shows up when he wants. Making a customer that had an appointment wait around for 2 for nothing. When he does show he tells me he can't do what I asked. Then of course he can but will take all day. Needless to say it took 2 days to get a radio installed and an alarm which should have taken one day. Second. I made 2 appointments to get a wrap done on my roof of my car. First one my car sat there all day from 9am to 5pm and nothing was done. I got the oh my bad we got slammed. So stupid me gave them another chance. They said bring it to us Wednesday at 10am you'll be the first car in they said. I called on Monday mind you. Wednesday came and I was there early and then was told can you come back at 3 or Thursday. You guys suck! It's not even funny how crappy they do business here. Should fire every one and start fresh. They have no clue how to run a business. I'll never come back here. read more

I payed to have after market head light put in. They were busy every I time they called so I told them I would pay double if they would squeeze me in. They did and did not complete the job. It is July 3rd. And I payed for it 4/30/22. I have called. And called. And they have gave me the run around. Asking me to call and get the parts I need but refuse to give me part numbers. There is so many resistors out there. And they just say morimoto. They are for my led angle eye and Demon eye. The job they did complete, is throwing codes saying I have bulbs out on my dash every time I get in. The wiring harness is just zip tyed and just hanging there. Where their is mounting brackets that the manufacturer suggest it is installed into sheet metal. And they left loose hard ware inside of my head lamp assembly And the other times I have been my car never has come out on time. Iv had many sound systems put in as I went to school with the owners son. And it seems I have always been taken advantage of. I don't suggest anyone go there. They don't keep their word. DO NOT GO HERE I came here to get my windows tinted in high school and remember them doing an okay job. Remembering this experience when I moved back to Huntsville six years later, I brought in my 4Runner to have the headlights fixed. It had Morimoto HID lights that had stopped working. All I wanted was for them to work again. Knowing that the glass on the headlights can break during heating, I brought in an extra set of glass headlight housings so I wouldn't have to wait days and days to get my car back since I used it for work. I was assured they wouldn't use those lights unless they had to. The sales person told me it could be up to eight hours which I was fine with. Two days later they called me to let me know it was done. When I got there, I no longer had Morimoto headlights.. they replaced them with stock lights that wouldn't shine more than 20' out on the road. This was a $350 charge and even though it wasn't what I asked for, they wouldn't give me my keys unless I paid and they wouldn't re-do their mess up unless I paid more. Please take it from me and do not let these guys touch your vehicle unless you don't care about it. read more

I recently purchased a shiny new muscle car and was looking to get the windows tinted. Everyone, and I mean everyone I know who has tinted their windows has done it at Xtreme and with fantastic results. One of my friends has had 4 different cars tinted here. People who I didn't know had tinted windows, told me to go here when they heard I was looking to get it done. So, I did. These dudes are very straightforward. They lay out the options quickly and concisely and are very effective communicators on the advantages and disadvantages of various types of tint. I went with the top-of-the-line 3M Carbon Fiber tint. I was in and out within two hours and my car looks great. The great thing is, they completely guarantee their work. My tint comes with a lifetime warranty and if I have any problems, they will fix it at no cost. That's a hell of a guarantee for a sticker on your window. These guys stand by their work and you can't ask for anything more than that. They open up at 8, and I would suggest getting here a few minutes before if you've got plans later on in the day because they get busy. I was second in line. By the time it was 8:15, there were probably 10 or so people in line. The waiting room has a small vending machine, a TV with cable, and even a pool table, so you can keep yourself entertained if you need. Sadly, though, no wifi. Went to Xtreme Tint LLC to receive tint for my brand new 2023 BMW M240i (Less than 40 miles). Asked for 3M Automotive tint (Crystalline series) and the vendor installed the tint. After receiving the vehicle with dirty windows after the installation, I drove home. Once the film cured after several days, I cleaned the windows and noticed there was dirt embedded between the window and the tint, abnormal bubbles on the tint, large scratches on the driver side door, and found out on June 23rd that they installed 70% windshield tint after I requested 50% tint. I returned to Xtreme Tint LLC on Friday, June 23rd so they could re-do the tint on the car. I mentioned the issues to the attendant at the counter and walked them around the vehicle pointing out the issues so they could get them fixed. After dropping off the vehicle with them at 9:30am, I returned around 4:30pm to be told that the vehicle was ready. After inspecting the vehicle, I noticed that they had only fixed 50% of the issues with the vehicle and there was still debris trapped between the windows and the tint, scratches on the driver side door, and bubbles still present on the tint. I walked back in and pointed the issues to the attendant which then prompted them to bring their tinting expert out to examine the vehicle. They apologized for the inconvenience and informed me they would keep the vehicle overnight to work on the car early on June 24th. I called in the afternoon the next day to be told the vehicle would not be ready until 4:30pm. When I arrived around that time, I was informed that they had run out of 70% windshield tint, that is when I found out that they had installed the incorrect windshield tint initially and were attempting to do so again. After I corrected them, I was then told to return again at 7:30pm later that day to receive the vehicle. When I inspected the vehicle again, I noticed debris still between the windshield and the tint, at that time, Xtreme Tint LLC informed me they believed it was a defect on the windshield from the manufacturer and told me to come back once that was corrected. Once I was able to put the car under direct light on June 25th, I noticed the driver side tint and the driver side quarter window had multiple deep scratches on the tint with one scratch being deep where a new window is the only fix. On June 26th, I went to the manufacturer of the vehicle to remediate the defective windshield and was informed that they had never seen that issue before and quickly removed the issue which they believed was debris that had been baked onto the windshield. I returned to Xtreme Tint LLC on June 27th to ask for a refund due to having to return a fourth time to have the issues fixed and was informed that they would be willing to fix the driver side tint and driver side quarter window tint but would not be willing to issue a refund due to having signed the receipt for the labor. The quality issues with their processes have driven me to file a complaint with the BBB and a dispute with my financianl institution to get my money back. read more

I have a Mercedes 2016 GLA250 model that the Display was not a touch screen. Alex replaced my Display radio to a new model that had not yet come out in the newer vehicles. There were some issues with the old Amp configuring with new display so that put more delays on getting it to work. They had to find newer Amps that would go with the new model. So a 4 hour job took 3 days plus he added the newer white lights (fog, low lights and the Mercedes logo when you open the doors), which he needed more time. Overall, I'm very pleased with the work, just have to get a few kinks fixed with the new display. Thank you Alex! read more

Have you ever found a business that shouldn't be in business? Well I have and its this one! I brought my car her to have the windows tinted with the expensive UV tint, you know that awesome tint that dang near lets no heat in, yeah that stuff. It's a good $330+ tint job. But paying that kind of money, you wouldn't want it done right the first time right? How about a second time? Maybe there is no way in hell they could screw it up the third time, HA HA HA guess again jokes ON ME! If you want to know how many times it takes, its more than three I can tell you that! I brought my car here three days after I bought it, because I bought it in the beginning of the week and didn't have any openings until that Thursday. I was told to drop my car off at 8:00 am and they would have it done by noon. I guess that was joke number one. They didn't have it done until 6:15 pm. When I got there I took a look over the tint job and noticed some scratches in the tint, bubbles, hair or cloth fibers and like dirt or sand debris in between the tint. He told me that I should give it a few days to settle and anything that was there they could smooth out in about five days or so. I also got my front window tinted with the UV tint that is almost clear to knock out some extra heat. After about five days I brought the car back and had to show them all of the imperfections that had been made, they said that the entire car needed a re-tint, scratches and debris from in between the tint doesn't disappear.....SURPRISE!! Well they told me to bring it back in three days and they could get it done by noon, another joke, it wasn't done until 6:30 pm after dropping it off at 8:00 am. And yet again it was scratched and blah blah blah...same crap as above, so ditto. I brought it back and he tried to touch it up in the parking lot and he wasn't having any luck, so he made me another appointment and promised that I would be the first one in and be out noon. Do you think I believed them? Hell no I was waiting until 7:00 pm that time, I was beginning to notice a pattern. This time when I got the car back the front window was not tinted I had to make another appointment to come back and get that done. Needless to say that didn't happen I went to Freddie's and got it all redone right the first time. Just had to pay for it twice...can anyone say ATTORNEY? I am! I placed a deposit for a new Apple Play radio on Saturday, April 3rd. Today is Thursday, June 3rd and after being jerked around I finally went in and asked for my deposit back today. If you want to walk in and purchase a sub-woofer this might be the place but not if you expect to get anything installed in any kind of timely manner. Excuses, promises, never returned texts, and phone calls are the norm. I don't know if the guy is inept or has no awareness of customer service. I took both my vehicles there to have brighter lights installed. Both my vehicles had to be returned 2 times for corrections to the lights they installed. After being in and out of their shop for about an month, both sets of lights still don't work right. Highlights don't even come on on one of vehicles. read more

Xtreme Disappointment! Called for appointment to install PPF, left the car 5/25/21, next day had to pick up the car because they did not have the PPF in stock. Brought the car back next Tuesday 6/1/21, I was told would be ready next morning. Wednesday I was told it would be ready Thursday morning. Thursday morning I was told it was almost done. but needed to sit under heat lamps overnight. Friday at lunch I went to pick it up and car had not even been started. Met several other customers who had also been waiting weeks to pick up their cars. I asked to pick up my car and was told that I if I would leave it, it would absolutely be ready on Saturday afternoon. Saturday went to pick up my car and it had been started but was no where near finished. I was given Alex's Cell number and his fathers and told I could call them and pick up the car Sunday even though they where closed, they would meet me. 25 calls and not responses. Closed Monday. Didn't even try to call Tuesday. Heard nothing all week. Went by Thursday 6/10/21, saw the car still not done, told them I was picking the car up Friday (ready or not). Friday 6/11/21 I picked they car up, the PPF looks terrible, edges curled up on hood and mirrors, bubbles, etc.. I was told if I would bring it back again next week they would fix it. They had the car for 11 days and couldn't get it right. The only thing they did efficiently was take my money. Nothing but lies from them and lousy work. Paid $$$$ for nothing. Now I will have to pay someone else to fix it. read more

Went in to get my 2019 charger tinted, was told it would take 4.5 hours due to being short staffed and it being a Saturday. I agreed, however, the tint actually took 9 hours and looked pretty bad. The interior of my car wasn't cleaned after they worked on it and they left one of their rags in the back seat. After hoping for a couple of days that the bubbles and other defects would work their way out from curing they did not. I went and spoke to Alex who didn't believe me when I told him about the bubbles and also that 2 of my windows were cut incorrectly and needed to be fixed. After seeing them first hand he agreed and set me up an appointment today assuring me that they would only need my car for an hour and forty-five minutes and it would be completely fixed. I went up there today to be told it was my window that was the issue, and they would need multiple hours to fix it because there were people ahead of me even with an appointment and their "full staff". It's pretty ridiculous that when I asked for a manager or owners number I was given the store's number that has a full voicemail. I would recommend avoiding this place, its been 2 weeks and these issues have not been fixed. read more

Didn't even want to give it one star. They lied to me about the complete install sold me cheap products and when the product went bad did not replace it. Was told they were going to put a LOC2 to in to make it sound better but did not even do that, was going to replace a burnt-out sub, but left the old one in there. Told me it was replaced and that if I blew it again, he said I would have to pay for shipping. Subwoofer matches the previous subwoofer serial number on the box, which verified it was never replaced. Aldo made a comment (Alex) that the system in my car sounded better than his high-priced Mercedes. Actually it sounds worse than my low price Toyota Yaris. As far as sound systems go. Don't do it. Xtremely sketchy. Had my car tinted here back in 2008. Was told there was a life time warranty on the tint. Come 2015, one of the windows in my car starts peeling. I contact them and they tell me that the warranty would only be honored if I had my receipt still (almost 10 years is a long time to keep up with a piece of paper). When I asked if they could look it up in their system, they claimed they had a computer crash a year ago that wiped all the customer data. How does a business not back up their data? I went ahead and took my car in on a Saturday morning (was visiting from out of town for the weekend) for a scheduled appointment to have a window re-tinted. On my way out, I noticed their front door said they were open until 5:30pm on Saturdays. I get a voicemaill at 3:00pm letting my know my car was ready. I arrive around 4:15pm and the shop was completely closed. I called their number, banged on doors... no one was there and my car was locked in their shop. I leave town with a relatives car and planned on taking off work to drive 3 hours back the following weekend. I call the following Monday to find out what happened and was told they closed early for a employee's wedding. I asked to speak to a manager and thats when the lying started. The manager claimed he told me in-store they were closing early (which he didn't) and that he called me 7-8 times and told me in the voicemail they were closing early. I recheck my phone and I have exactly one missed call and one voice mail. The voicemail did not inform me the shop was closing early. In the end, I can understand closing early for a employee's wedding but what I can't excuse is not informing me of the early close time and then lying and making excuses. I will never recommend anyone to Extreme tint after losing my trust. read more

Made this complaint with BBB and they never answered them also. went to have a subwoofer and amp installed. had an idea of what I wanted got pushed into buying something I never heard of before. it never worked. they installed amp and woofer in my car and it sounded bad. so they charged me more money and additional install fee to replace the woofer to an "upgraded" one. it worked for 2 days then went silent.. looked at the wiring cheap RCA conectors and fuse was not sitting in fusebox right, I tightened the rca and reseated the fuse.. it worked for 2 more days then stopped.. took it back they made it work, I complained it was now sounding like it was a broken woofer when I turned up the sound past 50%.. the solution was to turn down the amp almost all the way down then told me to turn my bass down in car when I had it turned up.. this turns off my midbass in the rest of the speakers so now I have highs and 1 low sub no midbass... they went back in and adjusted more so that I can have some midbass. 4 days later it stopped again.. texted/called Alex the shop guy who sold me the system, he asked me to see if the sub can move or if it was locked.. it wasn't.. sent him pictures etc never responded back with a resolution and now avoids my text/calls. I was going to remove the BBB if they fixed it... but I bought a new vehicle and gave my brother my car.. he took it back the sub blew... they swapped it out so they said... it smelled like burning rubber when were outside testing.. turned on first song.. sounded like its blow.. was told to adjust bass per song basis since the sub was not meant for free air/infinite baffle application. I mean yea its not gonna sound as good as a sealed box.. but at 30% volume and it sounds blown? was told if it blows again.. we would have to pay for shipping. 2 weeks later smell of burnt rubber is still there and strong.. decided to check to make sure sub was replaced. serial number on the "new" sub matches with the box I was given when the first sub was put in. decided to test putting in a different 10 inch woofer in its place a kicker I got off of amazon for 110 bucks.. it sounded 10x better than this diamond audio. 700 bucks wasted... still no solution. lesson is get what u want and don't let alex talk you into getting some brand name u never heard of before like the ds series minicamp that puts out distorted power and the diamond audio sub seems like it has great reviews online but.. yea stick with what you want in the first place... should have just bought the pbr300x1 off amazon for 140 bucks and the jl audio shallow sub for 200 and paid a shop 100ish to install it.. instead of spending 700 bucks on trash. read more

These guys are rip-off artists. They sold me a new audio system that turned out to be used. When it failed within 3 months of use, they lied repeatedly, promising to replace it, but they never did. I have filed complaints with the AL Attorney General's office (dept. of consumer affairs) and the Better Business Bureau. It's easy....just google them and file on-line. The BBB doesn't have prosecutorial authority but the AG does. So I encourage the many other authors of bad reviews to also file complaints, so that the AG prioritizes this one. read more

After the third trip to their shop and many hours of waiting, I brought the car home and it's worse than the first attempt. I would like to put "no stars" but since that is not an option I will put one! My step daughter got a new camera 2 years ago for her 16th birthday and we took the car to Xtreme Tint to put in Head lights, Halo lights and fog lights. The car came back and looked great for about 2 weeks. The headlights would shut completely off if you flip them to bright . The foglight burned out the housing and needed to be replaced with a different light (at my expense). Wasn't long after that the new fog lights burned out. Took the car back repeatedly after leaving it with him for days. After almost a year they finally got it right. Well, the lights only lasted another couple of weeks. It has been two years worth of aggravation, the lights have never worked all at the same time since. Now the Halo's are burned out and neither fog light works. I have "repeatedly" called and text and all I get is they ordered the part or I will call you back in five minutes. (Of course he never calls back) We have spent over a $1500.00 at this place! So, I am out all this money and still getting no where with one big headache!!! (And a pissed off teenager) I wouldn't be so pissed off if I could get some customer service! If I can give this business 0 stars, I would. I didn't go in for tint, I had a radio with backup camera and running boards installed. A three hour job took three days. A claim of the wrong mounting brackets for the running boards...? I call BS on that. The radio/backup camera was sold as a really great deal. The radio and phone sync functions are garbage. I went back to replace the radio (which I thought they were making amends by offering a new radio) was met with "Oh, we didn't get the correct connector. You'll have to bring it back tomorrow. I'll call you between 10 am and 12 noon when it comes in and we'll get it taken care of. I called THEM at 4:30 pm and asked for Alex (the man I've been dealing with). Surprise! He wasn't there. The man on the other end took my number and told me Alex would call me back. It's nearly 6:00 pm and no phone call. I am so sorry that I ever stepped foot into that establishment. read more

Horrible service! Went to get warranty work done and they told us we had to come back another day AFTER we had called earlier to make sure they could get us in. Went back up there and after agreeing to fix it, accused us of bringing a tint job up there to get fixed that wasn't theirs. I hope the owner felt like a complete jack ass when realizing AFTER he accused us, because the "8th grade" tint job that wasn't theirs, was. On top of that, they scratched my windshield in the process. I will NEVER give them my service again! read more
