I came in for a new full set of acrylics. I asked for a shorter length cause I type frequently at work. The nails were an uneven thickness and angled upward with no apex curve. I had the tech remove the first set and redo them. He was very friendly and super understanding. He was a peach, but he still seemed new with his acrylic application technique. The length ended up being much much longer than I wanted, but I had already spent so long in the salon, I just wanted to leave and see if I could cope with the length. I came back the very next day to have them trimmed down. I was greeted with a sassy, irritated nail tech named Ty. He was rude and reluctant to trim my nails. He spoke over me trying to justify why the nails were angled upward. In my years of wearing acrylics, that has never been an issue I've had to address before. The salon is in need of a deep clean. I will not return and I have made sure to let my co-workers and friends know how disappointing the whole experience was with this salon. read more

Hmm. I went back to see Ryan again and for a full new set and some epic nail art. I showed him a photo on IG and he went to town. I should have known right from the get-go that it wasn't going to be what I wanted based on the first step. He used stiletto tips and then cut it into a coffin shape, but the way he put the tips on was at a huge angle, and they were pointed up ward if that makes sense. Then, he piled on TONS of acrylic to make the top of the nail flat and make up for the angle underneath. When I mentioned they were too thick, he used the dremel to drill upward even further, and they were still crazy thick! If you viewed the nails from the side they looked like they were about to fall off. The way they were applied made the coffin shape look more like square. The nail art turned out pretty cool. It was different than what I had in mind, but it was definitely neat. I would consider going back to another nail tech for the acrylic and have Ryan do just the nail art. With the encapsulated glitter, he just made them WAY too thick (and I've had encapsulated glitter many times), and the shape was so off that it couldn't even be corrected without doing a new set. Stiletto tips shouldn't be used for anything other than stiletto nails. read more

I love getting my nails done at Xtreme, they do a fantastic job and are very kind. They try to get you in as soon as they can but they do get very busy so I would definitely make an appointment before arrival. I called in and they said 45 minutes and when I arrived I waited about 5 minutes them they had be ready to go. I recently started getting glow in the dark and I love it, definitely something different and fun!! It stays on for a while and doesn't fade away. As long as the paint is on it will glow. I've been going to extreme nails now for a little over a year. I absolutely love going there and my favorite nail tech is Ryan. He's not only amazing at his work he does, he is super kind and courteous. He makes you feel welcome and relaxed. He's very gentle on your nails and makes sure that you're not in any pain. His nail art is top-notch. I've never seen anybody who is able to bust out a whole set of nails within an hour or so and then come out looking amazing and I mean amazing he makes sure that every nail he does looks top-notch. He is very professional. I would recommend him to everyone at work. I always recommend him if anyone ever asked who did my nails because they look amazing. Extreme nails spa is also very nice. I got my nails done and i just asked for a french tip and the total was 70 dollars. The place next to them lulu nails only charges 48 for a full new set with french tip! Second off the lady who did my nails was on her phone multiple times, and put my nails on weird. My nails were bent upwards? As seen below in the picture. I do not recommend going here, instead go to Lulu nails right next door. Way cheaper and they actually put your nails on right. I've never had this issue before. read more

Do not go here!! They made my nails look raunchy and boxy blocked shaped. The Customer service was awful. They gave me 3 different nail tecs and still did it wrong, they also over charged me. This is an awful place. Do not go here. The people are rude and make snide comments. They are completely distracted and more interested in watching whatever show is on the monitor than actually doing nails. The pictures online are fake. It took 3 hours to do a regular pedicure and gel nail manicure. The pedicure was ok but the gel nail manicure was so poorly executed. I will taking it off as soon as I take pictures and post this review. The lady who did my gel manicure did not file down my nails, she applied the nail polish clumsily and said it was my fault that the nails did not turn out how I asked. I said I wanted my nails squared out and she never even filed them. I wasted money and time; will not return here and I don't recommend others do. read more

Not sure where to begin, I Was greeted when I walked in but left to sit 25 minutes and there was someone sitting at his station looking at his phone gets up goes and sits on couch as two others walk in.... If I could give them a -5 I would. I don't usually leave reviews on anything but I have never been treated the way I was at Xtreme nails by any nail salon I have ever been to. The acrylics were not put on properly, I was rushed through and shoved out the door. The workers are rude, the man doing my nails told me to "stop looking at the nails" while doing my other hand, he was rough and made snide comments towards me about me looking at the nails, not "washing my hands enough" when I went to rinse the dust off (the dust was off, he was just being rude), he refused to take my nails down in length even though I had asked him repeatedly to do so but he kept saying "come back tomorrow if you want them shorter", and was overall disgusting and rude. The nails themselves were horrendous, my boyfriend filed them down for me later in the evening because I couldn't function with them on. I had them on for a week total. The nails looked like they needed a file, they looked cheap and they looked like the press ons you can buy at Sally's (no offense to Sallys, I just paid 55 dollars and for what) They refuse to give refunds, they will tell you that NO other nail salon WOULD EVER give a refund even though I've been getting my nails done for two years now and I've gotten a refund before with a similar situation. They claim that they'll fix them and EVEN change the nail color but that isn't what I wanted after the way I was treated. I have anxiety, and the man doing my nails made me feel uncomfortable as he was rude, rough and yanked me around. He ran out during my appointment to go to his car. Yelled at me for checking the nails and for double checking things, telling me to "stop asking so many questions about the polish" because I was just making sure it wasn't gel because I didn't want gel!! basically they're the worst, their place is unsanitary and unprofessional :) read more

Not happy! I was recommended to this salon by a gal who works at Hobby Lobby as hers were beautiful! She had Ryan do them and I SHOULD have requested him. The reason I hadn't as I was a walk in and the techs were busy. So, the woman by the name of Helen did them and NEVER again will I ever have her do them! I was sort of treated like a hurry up and get done case, but more importantly it has been the first time in my life in a long time that I got my nails to grow out and she cut them to my finger tips! She cut 3 of them before I realized what she was doing. I was upset and told her so, but she had already begun, so I couldn't let them be so odd and hoped that they would grow out again. Not only that, but they are definitely crooked! PISSED to say the least and didn't cut the cuticles, nor polished it down far enough. She was so shaky too. Rotten experience. I just wanted it to be over. Not a pampering for me. The color of the nails were beautiful and they were nice and smooth, but that is as far as it got. A waste of $43.00 for a gel manicure. read more

They are okay. Not the best nail place in Lancaster but not the worst. I do think I heard them talk about my friend and I a few times but I don't think it was in a rude way. I'm just not impressed. I asked for a medium length and most of my nails are all different lengths. Also they offered a marble type design (they talked me into it) and charged me extra, which I expect since they charge extra for length, shape ect (as most nail salons do) but the marble was just not pretty, I feel like it was her first time ever doing it & she rushed it. I went in for a pedicure on Saturday, and Ryan took a chunk out of the skin above my heel. I was bleeding, and he tried to tape it up. It hurt a lot, but I made the mistake of feeling badly for him vs refusing to pay for the service. He charged me $35.00 and said it was a discount from the $45 pedicure, but I stopped him from finishing up the pedicure because I was bleeding and it hurt. It is now Thursday, and my cut still hurts. I cannot wear dress shoes to work because of the location of the cut. I called the salon today, and asked for a refund. I was told they cannot give me a refund since Ryan gave me a discount already the day of, and gave me a card for $10.00 off my next visit with him. I won't be having a next visit with him nor did he give me a discount that day. I should have refused to pay for the pedicure the day of, but was thinking it would heal quickly, and not be a big deal. The lady that answered the phone today told me to go see a doctor if it's bothering me. I said so you would rather lose a repeat customer vs giving me a refund for him cutting me, and she said we cannot refund you. TERRIBLE. I wouldn't of even called today if it wasn't still hurting. I had an appointment and waited almost an hour and a half. After waiting The lady i got may have been nice but she cut 2 of my fingers and she got frustrated with my ombré color and walked off. Someone had to come over to fix it (I believe the owner?) I left with black gel polish flooding my cuticles after they said it would come off in a couple days.. it did not. It's been almost 2 weeks and 3 of my acrylics have popped off.. not torn, broken.. POPPED off like a cheap set of presson's . I spent over $60 for nails that looked like I stuck my hand ink, are cracking and popping off 2 weeks later? I had such high hopes with all the photos and reviews but sadly I did not have such luck read more

As many of the reviews I looked at where to begin wanted to have a girls day with my daughter ,daughter in law and Niece ,we went to get mani ,pedis and they were busy granted but we got started on pedis choose the botanic oil pedicure for 40$ only 1 of the 4 actually got oil put in their water ,yes the massage on my feet and calves was awesome but to be charged 55 fo a 40$ pedi ? If your prices are raised due to covid change your pamphlet with services and prices , my daughter and Niece wanted the coffin shape and it didn't turn out so well let's say only a few nails were coffin shaped I just did tips and dipped which my daughter has done better and only watched videos online to learn how to do it my daughter in law wanted a simple 1color 1 side end of nail and another the other side to make a V and they said they couldn't do it so I'm thinking at most 450$ for everyone and let's say I was shocked at the price and I took it as gratitude was charged when asked for a tip I again was stunned if ya want to know how much over $450 for 4 mani /pedis no tip was add what a tip should have been and you might be close so will be looking for a better deal and to get what you pay for read more

The acrylic on one of my nails was all messed up and the nail tech was going to leave it that way and only fixed it because I had to point out that it looked horrible! walking in it appears to be a clean and comfortable area, however i got there right at 9:30 when they opened. there were 4 people in front of me (one already seated) and the lady ((i never caught her name)) says to us: there's 4 more of them coming but they're late every day. fast forward 20 minutes and one of them walks in leisurely on his phone going at a pace slower than a snail (i think his name was brian i heard maybe?). i waited about 15 more minutes before being seated. my nails were a full set done by, i believe her name was tracy, and she did alright. my complaints have more so to do with the workers being late and unthoughtful of their CUSTOMERS. as well as when they're working on your nails, they never stop talking to each other, seeming more focused on their conversation than their clients nails. mine are a little iffy for $70, which is a ridiculous amount. anywhere else i've been has only been 45-50. do not go here if you're on a budget or tight schedule. read more

I came to Xtreme nails from Athens, and it was worth the trip. I have not had success with the nail shops in my area ​and took the 50 minute trip to Xtreme Nails to get a gel manicure. The shop was clean enough, and my nail tech was nice. There were plenty of gel colors to chose from, and I did not have to wait (on a Saturday afternoon). My nails look good, not the best manicure I've​ ever had but no complaints. I was also offered $5 off for being a student. I'll be back! read more
