Interior detail treasure find: used Taco Bell sauce packet (mild)

They'll agree to anything to take your car in and leave you with a bill. Overall - Poor quality, poor communication. 1. Interior detail: found a Taco Bell wrapper on the side of my (driver) seat lol I was told my seats were removed for interior detailing. Clearly not. Maybe don't ask a body shop about interior detailing? 2. They chose to complete a full repaint from minor cement damage. They completed that and left multiple scratches around my car, see picture of my handle :( and front light lens. I handed over my car asking for a "quote", they started work without my knowledge. Then, kept my car for almost four weeks. I couldn't take my car since they had already started stripping the paint! Again, without my knowledge. No rental provided even after they didn't meet their completion date. Finally got my car back today, one star for forcing my boyfriend (who's on a wheelchair) and I to be without a car for a month

I used this service for over seven years while living in Seattle. This is my long-term (and long…read moreoverdue) review of their service. First, I've always found Ace Auto to be courteous, honest, and clear with communicating the work that my cars needed (a 2013 Camry switching to a 2017 RAV4 Hybrid later). They've always been up-front about what work is critical versus what can be delayed until later. Second, the owners are dedicated to ensuring that cars are repaired and returned in a timely fashion. When COVID hit in 2020, they went in on the weekend to fix my RAV4 all so that I could get my car back on the following Monday as promised (which wasn't actually their fault as a supplier error caused the wrong part to be shipped initially, and the right part only arrived when the shop was about to close on Friday). Third, while the service provided might not be the cheapest, I have NEVER had to take my car back in to get a repair "fixed" because it was done improperly the first time. This was really important to me because my car was my main mode of transportation as a family caregiver. I'm sorry that it took me almost eight years and two different cars to get around to writing this review. On the other hand, I can pretty confidently say that you can rely on Ace Auto to make sure your vehicle stays in great shape over the years. Thanks guys.

I would rather take my car to a shop that does that same work as the BMW dealership and charges 3 times less than BMW. The BMW dealership charges an OUTRAGOUS diagnostic fee of $220.00. And at this shop a diagnostic test is FREE!!! From reading other reviews about this shop on Yelp, I was pleased other's had some great experiences with Best Service & Repair. Best Service & Repair will be from now on my go too shop. I gave them a call to go over my car issues. One of them being, I was leaking oil from my valve cover gasket. At the BMW dealership, to replace the valve cover gasket they charge $2,200. Best Service & Repair charged me $624.00. The wonderful Service Adviser Ilona who I spoke with was so patient and extremely helpful with all my questions I had regarding my car. Two other pro's that Best Service & Repair provide are printouts of your car codes. No shop does that. Ilona goes over the codes and explains each one to the customer. Last and not least first time customers get a 10% discount on their bill. I am extremely pleased with this shop. It's nice to find a shop where they are honest, professional and care about the customer being satisfied. Not charging customers over the top prices for the same job. To hit commission numbers. I highly recommend this shop, Best Service & Repair 1119 N. 100th St Seattle, WA 98133 (206) 525-0240. If you are having to get your car serviced.

I wanted to share a great story about this honest small business…read more They fixed a leak in my beloved, tough-as-nails, 17-year-old Jeep Wrangler. His charge: $23.46. The story begins last week, when I brought my Wrangler to the dealership for a factory recall part replacement, and the dealership looked the Jeep over and found this leak among other things they said I needed to fix immediately, at a cost of $3500 plus tax. I drove it from the dealership over to Rick's Auto Repair, been in business more years than I've been alive, thinking -- he must be a local small business guy just doing what he (and apparently his dad?) loves every day. How hard can it be to work on a Jeep? Let's see what he says to all the things the dealership found. After testing the things the dealership said was broken on my Jeep he found $150 total -- after tax -- worth of things to fix. I came home that night and drove it around and there was still a leak that night, so I came back in yesterday saying hey, something didn't go right can you take another look. He says yeah, I figured out that all the tests still say you have no leak, but your radiator cap is broken. This means when you drive it it heats up and the antifreeze spills out from the cap. Your price today is $23.46, for the radiator cap. No charge for the labor because they missed that the cap had a hairline fracture when they brought the Jeep in last week. The pressure testing machines don't test for the CAP, only for the lines, radiator, etc. Have you ever had a bill that low from ANY mechanic? Seriously. Here in Seattle where every price is about 40% higher than the rest of the country (except California), it seems. How refreshing to stumble across an honest business, doing honest work and treating their customers like family. Have hope! Honest small businesses still do exist! And they need you and believe me, you don't want them to go away! Reward them for their honest, their passion for what they do, and for the value you will receive from working with them
