When I was researching different tours in the area, I read that this was the best one. I was slightly hesitant because it was a bit more expensive, but it was TOTALLY worth it. Our experience was one of a kind. When we arrived we met the other people in our group, had a small safety briefing, and Garret took us out on the trail. Not gonna lie: after the first half hour, I was trying to figure out where I could ask to be let off so I could walk back. And this whole thing was MY great idea!!! But after I switched seats with another passenger from the back jump seat to the front passenger's seat, I spent the remaining 2 1/2 hours of the ride in awe not only of the wild terrain, but of Garrit's driving skills. To call this a thrill ride understates the experience! Garrit defies the laws of physics, mechanics and gravity, masterfully handling the vehicle as if it was an extension of himself. By the end of the trip we were so exhilarated, it was the only place in our 3-week trip that we actually bought t-shirts, and the only sticker we proudly stuck to our water bottles because we truly did survive. Why anyone would choose to drive their own 4-wheeler in Hell's Revenge is beyond me. Leave the driving to Garrit and enjoy the ride .... even if it takes a few days off your life! read more

JUST DO IT! Insane ride! Can't believe vehicles can do this kind of climbing. Garrit was a blast & I felt completely safe with him. (And he's pretty funny, too!) The engineering of the vehicle was quite impressive to say the least. I expected a pounding, but the superior suspension (unique) made it unexpectedly soft. AND THE VIEWS! We did the U-Drive Sunset Tour on June 29th with Aaron as our guide. We can't say enough great things about this experience and about Aaron as a guide! If only they could've controlled the weather and made the clouds go away for the perfect sunset :) We were the lead vehicle behind Aaron so had a firsthand view of him as a guide. The entire time he was checking his mirrors and looking behind him to make sure everyone on the tour was doing well and didn't have any issues. During the stops he was knowledgeable about the area, pointing out various things, giving a bit of history, cracking jokes, and playing photographer. He made sure that everyone had a great experience! My husband felt entirely comfortable driving with Aaron as our guide! We highly recommend this for anyone looking for a bit of adventure with beautiful views! The place looks really unassuming, and it's not exactly in the same neighborhood that everybody else is in. We were a little worried because usually organized tours are kind of lame. I can say that this was one of the best entertainment experiences I've ever had in my entire life! These guys really know how to do it. I felt bad for all of the other tours out there. We were going up and down features that nobody else was touching, we were passing people, we were doing it all! I really don't think anybody out there does the kind of crazy stuff this company does out on those rocks! 10 out of 10 would do it again. I can't wait to come back. My parents came here in September and did a side by side ride with Garrett. My dad made this reservation for my boyfriend and I a while ago. We were originally in one of the larger vehicles. We got a call the day before and they said they didn't have any other bookings for the same time as us and wanted to know if we could switch to Tuesday instead but we had plans to travel to the Grand Canyon so we couldn't so they scheduled us for a side by side with Garrett instead! We got started right at 8:30am and it was awesome! We got to do Hell's Gate, one of the bathtubs, the escalator, and fins and things. Garrett is an awesome driver who has been driving for the company for 3 years and driving his own vehicles since he was 8 so he knows this place like the back of his hand. He is knowledgeable of the terrain and everything you see. He was also easy to talk to and had lots of jokes. We had an amazing time! read more

Our tour guide Arron Jones really made the experience outstanding! He made sure we had fun and and we did everything safely. My wife decided she wanted to drive and after 10 minutes she honked the horn which was the indication we needed to stop at which time we switched and I drove the rest of the way. We had a super time my wife was screaming all the way to Hell's Revenge on the way to Hells Revenge we went on rocks and sand on the trail and it was we stopped along the way Arron would stop and tell us about the formation we were travelling on and those in the distance. We stopped at a couple spots where only the most experience or the crazy people would try to drive up and he showed us the chain marks where some / most of these people would need a tow to get their jeeps out. At Hells gate we saw some people in jeeps making it and some that couldn't their was dirt bikes attempting the climb and one man had to have help getting his bike up the last 20 feet. We did a self drive tour with Aaron last week and had the best time! We're from MN so my husband was pretty confident in his off road driving skills, but this was next level. We had our 2 boys, 4 and 5, who loooved it. One was yelling to go faster and the other took a lil bit to warm up but has a blast. They gave us helmets for them and were buckled in tightly. I booked this for my husband but I knew I would be scared. Scared during the safety speech. Feeling claustrophobic once strapped in to the harness. I had to focus on breathing to calm myself. Once we got into the rocks I calmed a lot. Dave clearly knows what he's doing and everyone on those rocks knows it. Guide after guide looked at him and talked to him with awe and respect. It was very fascinating. Totally clear why as we went through our first few obstacles. The exhilaration. It's impossible to explain how amazing this experience was. And we did one obstacle three times because a bunch of people were standing there filming it. Dave and Garrett are just masters at driving those rocks. And they are super nice and fun to talk to. So comfortable. But then we started hearing a clunking sound as we pulled out of the hot tub I think it was. Some drive shaft or something broke?? So they pulled it out and we continued with 2 wheel drive. It got scarier, the tires more squealy as they struggled to climb and navigate. Dave had to go super fast to get us up those steep rocks now. And then those men stopped and pulled our a green rope for this really steep hill. Apparently we couldn't get up ourselves Garrett had to help us. WHAT?? I wanted to get out and walk I was so scared by then. I asked Dave if he'd done this before and he was like I tow people out all the time. So I prayed and was scared but also by then I kinda knew he was going to be able to do it. But I didn't think it would be so effortless. It was like nothing to him. He's that good. And that turned out to be the most amazing obstacle of the whole adventure!! They stop and pick up trash. They tell others not to drive through bushes. Dave put up signs and he moves trees and works on the trails a lot to make them safe. These are just good men who know what they're doing. Now that I've been up there I wouldn't trust anyone else. It IS a dangerous ride. You want very skilled drivers. I truly can't give enough praise. ‍ honestly I don't see how anything will top this experience. Which is fine because I'm still scared of it. But I would do it again. read more

I laughed like a child while coming down several of the named rock formations. It was thrilling much like a roller coaster, but without triggering my fear of heights. Dave is a rockstar driver; he knows the trails like no other. I felt completely safe even while speeding along corners or going down tricky spots. I don't think I would be able to say that with anyone else driving. He's also just a hoot to talk with, very casual and friendly. We did the sunset Xtreme tour on a Wednesday late in October. Dave was our driver and showed us a great time; he was obviously very experienced. The views were awesome other drivers pulled over to watch him due some of the obstacles. We have never been 4 wheeling and are so happy we didn't do a follow the leader tour. First, let me start off with how patient their office was in scheduling my tour. My friends and I were attempting to complete multiple excursions during our short time in Moab and ended up rescheduling multiple times so we could maximize the number of activities we could complete (keep in mind that the multiple reschedules all occurred 6 months prior to our trip so their schedule was pretty open to accommodate changes). Our party had Dave as our driver and Dave was incredible. He was the only driver for the 7 passenger ATV due to the complexity of the vehicle and we had an audience for our multiple ascends/descends for Hell's revenge. Dave was able to master the ATV so that he was practically driving sideways up the hills. Dave kept us entertained the entire time and made sure we were both comfortable and having a great time. Dave also took some great photos of our group and knew the scenic spots along our tour that would make for great photos. read more

This is the bomb-diggity of stuff to do in MOAB. The hells revenge trail, although I'm sure not technical by local standards, scared the crap out me - in a good way. This was my first run at western 4x4 shit. Not your back east swamp and mud, but what feels line vertical ascents and descents. As avid off-roaders, our expectations were ultra high when we booked this trip. I can tell you, this trip FAR exceeded anything we were expecting! We took on every obstacle, while all the other tours just stopped to watch us do the impossible. The views were spectacular, and David, our driver, helped us get some amazing pictures at sunset (make sure you get the video. It's well worth it!) David was a real pro, and talked us through all the nuances of navigating the trail. All of their equipment is top end, equipped with five point safety harnesses.
