We had an amazing time with Robbie as our guide and driver. I do not usually write reviews this quickly, but we had such a great time that I felt like I had to say something. Even though this was one of the busiest weeks of the year, we only had to wait a little for other off-road vehicles here and there. It was actually fun watching other rigs climb obstacles, so it never really felt like we were waiting. Robbie is the older brother, super funny, and my kids loved listening to his stories. Even my wife, who normally gets nervous with off-roading, felt very safe with him on Hell's Revenge. It is also absolutely worth paying extra for the Escalator. Not many people can make it up that hill, and Robbie made it look easy. These guys are the OGs of Moab. I have a semi off-road vehicle myself, and I know I would not be able to do 90% of what Robbie did today. He is an extremely skilled driver, and their jeep was built to handle just about anything. A lot of times it felt like we were about to fall off or crash, but that just shows how skilled and experienced Robbie is. Highly recommend. My wife, 2 daughters and I made a reservation well in advance for a sunset Jeep tour and everything worked perfectly. Robert picked us up at our place, told us all about the history of the town and exploring the back country as a kid. He then took us on the adventure of a lifetime. My girls were nervous laughing almost the entire time and that Jeep did more than I ever expected it could (and I've been off-roaring in Jeeps for years). Our family of 3 was fortunate enough to have Robbie as our guide last week on the 3 hr Hell's Revenge Jeep adventure. It and he exceeded all expectations. When he explained the 90 degree rock wall we were to scale as our first challenge, I was terrified!!! There was no way that could be possible. That was the first amazing feat we safely conquered. The whole journey was scary and exhilarating at the same time. As a therapist I deal with people folding up being fearful and overwhelmed on a daily basis. I could feel my own ability to tolerate extreme discomfort growing as the tour unfolded. Didn't expect that growth opportunity! Dan is one of the coolest guys I've met! My wife and I were in Moab for the first time and had just competed Fins and Things. Being new to the Jeep world I was a bit nervous to do Hells, but really wanted to. As we sat in the parking lot we noticed a nice Jeep started the trail. I started to follow hoping I'd be able to see the lines they take, and cure my nerves a bit. We caught up to the Jeep at the dinosaur tracks and asked the people in the Jeep if they would be okay with me following them along this trail. Dan asked the the guest he had if they didn't mind. They were fine with us following, so for the next 2-3 hours we were able to follow the man the myth the legend Dan Mick. He was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. We started our first day in Moab with the Dan Mick Jeep Tour. Curtis drove my group and did an absolute fantastic job! He was entertaining, knowledgeable and overall fun! Curtis went over Rick formations, history of the landscape, the dinosaur tracks and fossils, and more. It was super steep and the good thing about his jeep was that there were handle bars inside the vehicle . Ha! I held on so tight. He goes fast and then he slows down depending on route he takes you on. Hell's gate you won't forget. I promise you that! He also provides water and snacks as well. Recently took a crazy jeep ride in Moab with Dan Mick's Jeep Tours! We went on the Hell's Revenge Trail, it was awesome! I was really excited to do this but my wife was a little apprehensive. It was immediately obvious that our driver, Jed, was an absolute expert, and the Jeep we were in was a beast. We went up and down many crazy steep obstacles with ease. The highlight was Hell's Gate... we stopped at the top so we could see what we were about to climb. Another Dan Mick Jeep drove down another route and was suddenly at the bottom of Hell's Gate, and we watched as he climbed up to us. It was just fun to watch, but now it was our turn. My wife could have sat this out, but by now she was enjoying the ride! We loaded up and took the route down to the bottom, which was also crazy btw, and then we made the climb up! I just returned to Denver after a long weekend in Moab with my daughter and her boyfriend. They thought it would be "fun" to take a guided Jeep tour of the nearby rocks, and Dan Mick seemed like a good bet. "Fun" isn't precisely the right word. "Bizarrely thrilling" is more accurate. Our guide was Dan himself, an archetypal character of the wild west (and if you can get him, do it, although his son was driving our partner Jeep, and he's well on his way to becoming his papa). In one of my pics Dan is on the right, and his son is on the left. Years ago, Dan and a buddy mapped out many of the routes we took on our three-hour joy ride, and I'm convinced he could do it with his eyes closed -- but thank God he didn't. He also discovered the dinosaur tracks we inspected at one point. You will not be disappointed by Dan Mick or any of his driver/guides. They know what they're doing, and they do it three times a day, virtually every day of the year. Enjoy, and hang on tight! read more

The Jeep ride with Robbie was epic, according to my 5 year old! We really enjoyed it. Our favorite parts were going fast on the soft sands, nice and slow at nearly 90 degrees climbing up and down the rocks, and my ultimate favorite was the "Highway to hell" down and out of hell's gate! People sat on the hill of the Navajo sandstone just to see us climb on out! We then got out of the vehicles to watch the sun set over the Colorado River and hop around the Navajo sandstone. There are many dinosaur footprints in this trail which they stopped to show us as well! I would love to come out here to the Hells Revenge trail his Dad built in the 70s, with a Jeep of our own one of these days! I highly recommend this tour! Robbie and his dad are very funny, friendly and offer excellent Jeep tours! read more
