This review concerns" MY ELECTRICIAN ENTERPRISES INC", VANCOUVER, B. C…read more The owner, Jacob, has been my electrician for many years. In 1995, when I assumed the management of an apartment building built by my mother in 1956, it was imperative to conduct electrical upgrades throughout the building. The work was done by" MY ELECTRICIAN". Jacob's knowledge, judgement and thoughtfulness were always evident to me for in the course of those years, I found" My- Electrician" to excel in all aspects of the work. He gave fine suggestions for all the needs of the building, working on both the interior and the exterior of the building. As I observed his consistent care of and attention to every detail, I was always assured that his work would ensure the safety and security of my building and its residents. His extraordinarily courteous manner and services to me during my years of building management will never be forgotten. My Electrician Enterprises Inc. still does all my electrical work. With the services of "My Electrician Inc," I know that I can still have complete trust and confidence that the quality of work is the finest possible. Glinda Sutherland

Eddie Hall was responsive by phone and provided an estimate that was less than competitors, who seemed far less interested in looking after a small job such as mine. I would not hesitate to use them again and I recommend them.

So their installation service may be very good, if you can get them to show up. I haven't been…read moreable to get them to show up. To get them to show up, you have to be way more flexible than a normal working person can be. I contacted them and Sam told me they could come on a Friday at 7:30 a.m., which doesn't work because I have a family to get out of the house, eating breakfast under the fixture I need replaced (we're normal Vancouver people, we don't have tons of space and a room/table I could relocate breakfast to). Then he said they could come later on Friday morning, but couldn't commit to a time. I countered with Thursday afternoon, which he said would work better, and he agreed to a time. I arranged my work schedule to be there. On Wednesday morning, I got a call at work from their installer, asking if I could be home that day to do the install (uh, no, not on short notice). As agreed, I stayed home on Thursday for the Thursday afternoon appointment, moved everything around to be ready for them, and then the installer called me an hour in advance to tell me he couldn't make it and wanted to reschedule for the next week. If you have a stay-at-home partner / roommate or you work from home or have a contractor or someone handling your house, Hall Electrical might be great. But if you can't be at home on a weekday at the drop of a hat, don't bother with them.

I'd gotten in touch with another highly-rated company first, and been given the run-around repeatedly because my job was "small." When I reached out to Nelcan via Yelp, I got a response from Mitsuko within hours with a quote and potential times to book. She reconfirmed in advance, and the electrician showed up on time (quite a change from the company I'd contacted previously!) and got the fixture installed quickly. All in all, thoroughly professional and highly recommended
