[Now ending this attempt to weave in Back to Future references to share what I saw in the filled to the gills space that is a Dunbar's treasure trove.] From floor to ceiling you'll go near dizzy taking in the eclectic compilation of furniture pieces, lighting fixtures, and salvaged treasures recycled or upcycled from a wealth of eras. Fruit boxes, axles, typewriters, cash machines, radios, armoires, coffee tables and light fixtures piled high are just a few of the sparkly items that caught my eye. Staff is helpful and seem passionate about restoring lighting and furniture -- both their own projects and anything you bring them. If you have something you'd like to consign, email them images and they might just take you up on it!

We called and called and talked to Ken, who did absolutely NOTHING for us. Promises and promises and no help whatsoever. My husband had to buy materials and rewire the lamp himself. If he weren't so mechanical, we'd have one faulty lamp after all that dough spent. AVOID THIS PLACE. They don't care as long as they have your cash. Customer service doesn't exist here at all.

The amount of lighting they have here is simply staggering. We've been to most of the lighting…read morestores in the area, and Lighting Warehouse has one of the largest selections. Leonard helped us out during our first visit and has been assisting us ever since. He is a shining example of how a business should handle customer service. He always takes the time to provide personal assistance that never feels pressured--extremely rare in the sales industry. Not to mention, he is super cool ... I actually think he's an ex-HK celebrity in hiding! On top of exceptional customer service, the prices he quoted us in our first order for ceiling fans + lights were lower than every store we had previously visited, even compared to online vendors. We've already been back multiple times for new orders. Nowadays, whenever we need lighting, I always check with Lighting Warehouse to see what they can do, even after viewing products at other stores. If they don't have it, they can usually special order it. And since our initial visit, every final purchase for lighting has been made at Lighting Warehouse due to their prices, selection, and service. I'm a huge fan of Lighting Warehouse, thanks to Leonard!

I came in to buy new…read morelight bulbs, and while that experience was okay, I've now been inundated with threatening scam calls (3 to 4 times a day). How do I know it was Robinson that sold my info on? Well, since it's the only store that I gave out my number to in the last six months, I started receiving these multiple scam calls on the VERY DAY that I bought the items from their store. Shameful.

When you deal with one place that has a chain of stores you would think that product, let alone…read moreservice would be consistent around the board. While planning my washroom renovation, this was one of the stops, to see what the better stuff looks like. You can go to your Rona's and Home Depot's all you want for building supplies, but when it comes to faucet's, tubs, shower bases, shower systems, these guys carry a higher end range of product from Grohe to Riobel to Kohler you'll find some good stuff here. The place has a huge showroom, and when I was in here, walking in, amazingly enough it did not feel like a greenhouse, as you do see a ton of lights being displayed. This maybe the prettiest Robinson Lighting showroom I have seen, yet they lack service, most people I find behind a computer behind a counter. And compared to another review of mine at another location, I did not get this here, not even a smidgen close to the attention and service I received at another store. I wasn't even quoted, or given the option of a shower base I was looking for (60 x 30) and said it would take a few weeks? OK are you guys franchised here, cause I just did this transaction a few hours before entering this store. So I was quite confused with the whole matter, at the same time this store, as said, is nicely located, has great selection, and doesn't carry the cheap substitutes you might see in places like going along Bridgeport in Richmond where there are a ton of light stores. If you take pride in where you live, willing to spend more, and not wanting it to look like a cheap addition/renovation where your renting it out, or flipping it on the market, your probably coming here to get something, the only downside is the service, other than that it's not a bad store.
