I have been a customer since the Yelp event…read more I brought my mother here for a Mother's Day gift....she just redeemed it today-in June. Insert emoji with the horizontal line for the mouth. Anywho, they treated her and myself really well by offering her and myself water. I did not get a facial, however, I was treated really well while I waited for her. Parking- ugghh the weekend is a hunger games for parking. Sooooo I suggest during the week if you can. I did, dip out to lululemon which is located next door and they also have Lalaland for coffee in the same lot. I chose this location for diversity. Not all skin is the same skin;) My mother told me that she really loved her facial!!! She felt relaxed and the clinician really gave her a facial message. My job is done.... Thank you Hi, Skin.

I took a break from crazy working mom life to get a facial on my day off. The person next to me sat…read morethere on a speakerphone phone call for over 20 minutes until I finally said something. My aesthetician told the front desk but they never came over so I had to ask her if she could hang up her call because it was ruining my experience. She then proceeded to take it off speakerphone but I could still hear the whole conversation. There were only three or four total people in the place, so there was no reason for me to be seated right next to her. The front desk staff treated me like I was the crazy person when I asked to be moved to a chair farther away from her. The facial itself was fine. I know businesses can't prevent rude customers from being their customers, but they also can do something to prevent the rude customers from ruining the experience for others, and this place did not do that. I won't be back.

She listened to my concerns and photographed the skin areas that I was concerned about. Right after that, Dr. Muneeza Muhammad came in. She is alert, on the ball, and energetic, with a great personality. She did a full body examination and answered all of my questions about my localized skin areas of concern. She carefully explained that she found nothing of concern. But that doesn't mean that she simply mollifies patients to avoid work. 6 months ago, she diagnosed a melanoma on my eyelid and set up my surgery 3 weeks later by Dr. Armenta of Elite D who successfully removed the melanoma with no further complications for me. Dr. Muhammad also successfully destroyed small, shallow pre-cancerous growths on my head through cryogenics and prescribed a cream that eliminated actinic keratoses on my cheeks.

I saw Dr. Muhammad for a skin cancer check up. What I can describe from my experience is gross…read morenegligence at a bare minimum and also was just unprofessional. This was the fastest skin cancer check I have ever had which should have been a red flag, but I mistook her arrogance for actual knowledge. Dr Muhammad diagnosed me with a very serious skin condition with only her "clinical expertise" without confirmatory testing. She then prescribed a very serious medication with very serious side effects that should not have been prescribed to me with prior kidney issues without first testing my kidney function. Not once did she even go over the side effects or cautions of the medication she prescribed. I had to ask her several times to repeat the different things she was saying and prescribing for various things. She also then provided no support after diagnosing me with a disease that could have caused irreparable damage. Thankfully I came to my senses and realized she could be wrong and saw my GP who confirmed with testing she was wrong. Perhaps she should spend more time learning about appropriate patient care and less time making TikToks...

I went to see Dr Alpesh recently. First thing that happened was I couldn't find his Columbus office…read morebecause nobody told me that they moved to a different building. It took me about 20 minutes to find the place. When I got there, he had a student come in to check me over unsupervised. She had me sit down. I have had full body scans done before. They go through your hair, your ears and behind them, your nose, your buttocks, your private parts, under the arms and feet. Because skin cancer can show up anywhere. Well the student had me sitting down, so the back of my legs, buttocks and front didn't get examined. I asked her to let me stand so she could get a more thorough examination. She brushed it off, hurried through and got Dr Alpesh. I requested a biopsy done on a rash I have which they did do. But I called and called for 3 weeks trying to get results. I left messages and no one called back. When I finally got a link to go into the portal to look at the results, they weren't available to download so I literally took a screenshot of them on my phone. Oh yeah! For a couple weeks after that I had my GP request them, they ghosted her too!! Anyway, I dropped off a printed screenshot for my GP to look over for me. I just found out from her that the results were garbage and that I need to see another dermatologist and go through this all over again!! I was charged around $150 at appointment and then paid another $50 for trash lab results!! Please do yourself a favor, please do what I am doing now; go through your insurance, find dermatologists who are in network. Read their reviews, then send the list to your trusted Dr to have them find a good one for you! I'm so tired of these drs who don't do their job and take advantage of people. Your health is too important!! Please avoid this man!!

After researching what to do about my sun damaged, red, pigmented face I landed on an IPL facial…read moreand found Artavi online knowing I wanted go to a doctor for this type of procedure (first time laser to my body anywhere!) Booked with Dr. Desai, even for the extra charge for those initials behind her name, it was well worth it! She was great, explained everything little thing and how it worked. Im a science nerd, so appreciated this. She also talked through the whole procedure without sugar coating anything.... because, it definitely didn't feel like a relaxing spa treatment. While the pain was SO worth it, it was a different kind of hurt. Best way to describe it is the rubber band analogy but also, it was HOT, like you're under a heat lamp just on that area....however the biggest annoyance to me was the light itself, it was bright (even under goggles and closed eyes) and 'shocking' so i would flinch every time that light would flash and that caused the chain reaction of rubber band pain-heat-relief-repeat. The cooling gel beforehand helped i guess, but once its done the pain is done and it starts to just feel like a sunburn. My recovery took longer than expected but look at all that pigment coming to the surface in pic 2! Was pretty cool watching it all flake off. Fully recovered 7 days later. Sunscreen 3xday everyday during week after. Couldn't be happier with results, will certainly go back for 1-2 more as recommended. Thanks Dr. Desai! Office was nice, pricing on high end but they are in the center of the Heights and its posted on website, cant wait to try other procedures there!

I am not unreasonable; I understand the risk of under-eye filler and that this can happen. But it's the way the situation was handled that bothers me. She pushed a product that she knew wouldn't help fix her own mistake, gaslighted me, and gave me the runaround. Is this someone you want to do your injections with? I have been a member of their monthly club for over a year, and I've noticed several unprofessional events here and there. The last straw was when I got under-eye filler. I started to bruise immediately, and Dr. Desai blamed the bruising on my body(gas lighting); some of it was from me bruising easily, but most of it was from her messing up during the injection, which led to a black eye. She pushed a $50 topical product on me, knowing that wouldn't do a thing to help the black eye. Please see the first photo below. I had a black eye for two months after the injection that has still not entirely gone away; when I sent an email, including the second photo below, to the office, they invited me to come back in. When I entered the office, they did not have me sign legal documents; I went straight back into the exam rooms, where they took more photos. Dr. Desai came into the room to tell me that she could do nothing. SO WHY HAVE ME COME BACK IN AND WASTE MY TIME? After all, I sent a photo in my original email. That is what I asked her. She responded that she couldn't tell what was happening from the photo in my email(as she zoomed into a picture of my face that her staff JUST TOOK ). At this point, I felt she was insulting my intelligence, if I am honest. She knew she wouldn't do anything before inviting me in. Otherwise, I would have signed legal documents before entering the exam room. As a business owner myself, she should have just been HONEST and given me a choice after reviewing my email, for example, "It looks like XYZ is happening, which I cannot fix, but I would be happy for you to come in, and I can take a closer look," instead of wasting more of my time. I asked for a refund for the under-eye filler for living with a black eye for two months and being given the runaround. She declined. For privacy reasons, this isn't my real name, but I didn't feel comfortable sharing an honest review and real photos under my own name for privacy reasons.
