Let me start by saying Xperience knows what it offers and the crowd it wants to attract. From the red carpet leading to the entrance, you walk inside you're met with flashy lights, loud music (more on that later), dancing entertainment, and people looking to have a fun night. Throughout the night we saw party bus after party bus drop off groups of people. We were told that the majority of their customers are there to celebrate a birthday. The first couple hours into our double date, it was incredibly hard to hear each other talk. At one point we asked if they could lower the music, and they did for a short time. But it went back to club levels soon thereafter. We eventually were told by management that they could move us and our food to the outside dining area where it's quieter (we wished that option had been presented to us earlier). Outside was indeed quieter but you could still hear the music inside which was nice. Our server Avianna was a rockstar all night. She went above and beyond steering us in the right direction in terms of drinks, food portions, and what sides to stay away from. While outside, Juan came to our table 3 times with complimentary shots to apologize for the inconvenience we went through. He asked us what liquor we wanted, but it didn't taste like Casamigos Reposado. We didn't question it since it was free. For drinks, I had the Ill In Ibizad, which was Don Julio Blanco, Passion Fruit, Banana Liqueur, Vanilla Bean, and Fresh Squeezed Lime. I was surprised to hear it's not ordered often, because I had 2 of them. I appreciated that the fruit flavors didn't overpower the liquor but paired well with it. As for the food, the whole fried red snapper with sweet thai chili and plantain chips was exceptional. It had the perfect crispness and the right amount of sauce to not oversaturate it. To finish the night, we ordered the Diamond desert board. Once again Avianna hooked us up by saying if we left a Google review we could get the desert for free. While the beignets we hard to truly appreciate because of their small size, the fried cheesecake and triple chocolate brownie did not disappoint. All in all, if you're looking for an entertaining night and don't mind not having conversations then I would dine inside. But if you want to hear one another I would opt for the outside area. So I'll start by saying, I'm old school, 80's baby. My family has bars and social clubs in harlem and we definitely could have had a dinner at one of the locations that have everything together. I wanted to do something for my baby who turned 21, locally since I just bought a house in linden. Something not like what she is used to. A little flashy and modern. I will say that this is not the place to go to. It is so much that they are lacking from a business point of view that I can't see them being in business in 5 years. From entrance.. so many people around, yet no service. We waited almost a hour before we had a waiter attend to us and we had to call one. I can go into detail but I literally am exhausted from today. Just please believe me when I say the service is 0 stars. It took a lot to get anyone's attention and it felt like we were just in a room waiting until they got it together to attend to us. Means while there are 8 people at the door, awaiting guest, so they can sit and not be served. This place felt like an after hour spot where you may get service if you know who to ask or your tipping g right. When we finally got the food it was good. Cold but good. Chef made good food. Then you have to tolerate the drunk women right on top of your party because you gave a small table. I will end by saying this place is absolutely mismanaged, terrible service, no attention to their customers and everyone working in their own silo. We paid our 600$ bill for brunch and I only complained about the reservationist who charged me $100 extra for a 21 balloon. They are a rip off and absolutely not worth the gas to get there. What is more than disappointing was when I spoke with the manager, he offered our table shots like I was 20 something. I declined. I left their two gallons I paid $100 for and paid the bill in full with the tip. I don't come out to get taken advantage of. I pay for services with no problem but when you try and take advantage, I'm not the one. I've dined at the finest and the slums but one thing I won't compromise is respect, customer service and attentiveness. This place is the worst. I will never come back. If you are celebrating a birthday , this is not an experience. ITS COMMERCIAL AND NOTHING worth booking. It has no personalization. Came here on a friday night at 8pm for a birthday. (Make sure you have reservations, eapecially on the weekend) The establishment is tucked away in a corner or a strip mall. But it has a red carpet outside that gives you a glamorous feel. We were greeted at the door and was asked to wait in the lobby. We had an 8pm reservation. We waited about 5 min before our table was ready. They have a dj on the weekends and The music is extreamly loud. You cant hear yourself talk, and they sat us right at the dj booth. We asked to be moved but no other tables were avalible. We got use to it after a while because the dj was really good. Dj Yamosa. Our waitress took our drink order, as we were a party of 3 but only had 2 at the time. Our drinks took a while to come out. The service is very slow, but i expected it from the reviews. I ordered the half chicken, only to be told 10 min later that they were out. So i got salmon with mash, tandori chicken, and the lobster rigatoni. It took about an hour for our food to come out, and the waitress warned us they were backed up mid way through. I think they should give you free bread or something since they know service is slow. There were two more groups of birthday celebrations and the DJ made sure to give everyone Birthday shout outs. Your hostess at the entrance is more concerned with taking pictures on a sports car than doing her job. (Noticed this as we were leaving parched and unfed) It's date night... We show up at 8pm on a Friday for drinks and appys, in search of bar seating or anywhere indoors. After we stood at the entrance in front of four bickering employees, someone finally looked up and noticed us. We were gently denied entry but offered seating on the " patio" which is located in the alleyway adjacent to the building. Not at all situated like a *real* patio. We sat there, feeling a sense of "offness " for about 15 minutes... Not once did anyone offer to bring us a menu, water or drinks. There was no eye contact from the people in front or the one waitress we saw exit and enter the building. So, we left the patio area unbothered and proceeded to our vehicle to salvage the night and spend our coin elsewhere. When we walked away, we passed by two employees in front who asked no questions whatsoever. They, too, were unbothered - which signaled to me that we made the right choice by not spending our hard-earned coins at this establishment. I came here for a friend's birthday party this weekend and was so excited! Stepping in, the place had such a fun vibe and seems very organized. I was the first one there and the others arrived a bit late, so we did end up getting seated 30-40 minutes after our reservation so definitely make sure you are on time. Despite it being so busy on a Friday night, our waiter was pretty attentive. We all ordered drinks, I'm the only one that got a mocktail and we all thought they were delicious. They were each $20+ so a little steep but I can understand. The music could have been a touch lower because we had to talk loudly to hear each other but it wasn't as bad as other restaurants I've been to. Two of us including myself ordered Rasta pasta - I ordered mine extra spicy but it didn't seem any different from the other dish. The birthday girl got the lamb chops. Another girl ordered Alfredo pasta and the last girl ordered two appetizers, crab cake and another one I don't recall. We all enjoyed our food- we seemed to all agree on a 3.5/4 rating for the food. My friend loved her lamb though! However, although I order dairy at many places without a problem til much later in the night, my lactose intolerance seemed to kick in within 15 minutes of finishing my food. I was super sick, thankfully it quickly cleared. Today when I heated up the rest of my food, I realized there was a ton of oil pooled at the bottom of my plate. I feel like I poured out 2 tablespoons of oil, which would explain what also affected my stomach. They brought out her cake and cut it well and we had no issues in that aspect. They also took great pictures of all of us and the birthday girl, but they asked for $25 extra to keep them... on top of a nearly $400 bill, we passed! All in all, Xperience is a total vibe! Great music and energy, clean and well-organized. Definitely a 5/5 for the atmosphere and service but with the food being decent and how pricy it is, I'd give it a 3 for now. I walked in, and it was a red carpet experience. The place is super cute but not as big as I thought it would be. We sat at a larger table, and T was our server, and he did the best he could. I started with a martini, which they messed up with the serving but after while they brung it to me. The manager comped it because of the wait. For dinner, I got the shrimp appetizer, and it wasn't bad. It just needed a little more seasoning. I will say the prices are a bit steep, so prepare yourself. This place is beautiful ! It's a newly opened restaurant in the area. ( Fun fact: the person on the consultant team for this restaurant also helped designed Le Malt lounge and owns Estimes Cafe - of which are a few blocks away) My coworker told me about this place and it fit the vibe I wanted. Something fun, beautiful and had good food. Since this restaurant is still new, their menu was very limited. We ordered some friend, my friend got the shrimp and I got the chops. While the potions were really small, the flavor was there. One of the sauces for the chop reminded me of a Haitian Épis It was really good. The drinks were also delicious. I for their version of a Lychee martini "Drunk in love" There's also a nice outdoor section but you have to have the staff escorte you if you'd like to sit out there. There's hookah available. One of my favorite things were the entertainment, they had 2 last Vegas like show girls that performed later on in the night. This is a ghetto bougie restaurant. We had a reservation and they did not seat us for 30 min because they were unorganized with large group in front of us. The waitress actually had the nerve to bag it up in to go containers. Where in the world would see a table not even finish 15% of a meal and not want it to go and the manger ignore it. The music is obnoxiously loud that you have to scream over the table to talk and the worse part is the speaker and his microphone kept screeching. It's in a shopping center that looks nothing like the videos they try to present. And the toilet did not work either in the ladies room. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Photos and marketing made this place look fun, but unfortunately we had an awful experience. My group made a reservation for a birthday and my wife and I arrived about 45 mins early. We parked in front of the restaurant and sat in the car while we waited for the rest of our group. About 30 mins in, the tall male African American host came over to my window and asked me if I had a reservation. I responded with our information and he said he would check us in as partial arrival first. Great... sounds good to me. 15 mins later, the rest of my group arrived and parked next to me in front of the restaurant. We walked in to check in with the same host. While my family member was checking us in, an older Indian guy that stated he was the owner, came over to me and demanded me to move my car. I asked him why I have to move my car and he responded that he needed the spots in front for VIP customers. I advised him that there's two more empty spots and that he should have some signs up because nothing says the spots are only for important guests. I also advised him that I've been sitting there for 45 mins, why didn't he tell me before I got out of my car and walked inside. He stated that it doesn't matter and I still have to move my car, so I refused to move my car. Then the tall host tells my family member that we need to pay him some money to park in the front spots. Instead of arguing further, she paid him $20. The host then tells the owner that he took care of it and that we were good. So the owner left me alone. I understand some fancy restaurants have belt parking and certain spots are blocked off for valet parking but this place was not that kind of place. It is in a small strip mall next to a sandwich shop and nail salon. Meanwhile, we did our best to enjoy dinner after being extorted for money to park in a strip mall parking lot. We spent a little over $1,200 (see receipt) and were basically told we weren't good enough to park in front of the restaurant. Needless to say they have lost a customer and I will definitely make sure my friends and family will never come to this establishment. My friend asked for salt and pepper the food runner said they didn't have pepper and brought a small plate of salt out . Meanwhile the table next use asked for pepper and they brought out a fresh black peppercorn shaker. ‍ But the price point for this area is a little outrageous. I came here for my friend's birthday and right away the host was very rude. He kept asking if we had a reservation, but we had just called and they said we could walk in. He gave us an hour and a half time limit, but the food took 40 minutes to come out. We got our drinks around 15 minutes after we sat and they were amazing. Unfortunately the food being freezing cold overshadowed that. We ordered one of the steaks with crab mac and cheese and the rice. It was good, but freezing cold. It comes with onion rings and as soon as we touched it, it was freezing cold. You would think an $160 steak would at least be warm, but it was also freezing. We couldn't even complain because our server was nowhere to be found. Halfway through our 50 minute wait, we were given a new server who didn't even introduce herself. Our time frame was 5-6:30. We left as soon as we finished eating because the experience was just not good at all. I believe the servers just don't care because of the auto gratuity feature, but either way it was a terrible experience. Before I write my review, I am someone who absolutely does not mind spending money for great food and drinks. I went to Xperience for a birthday. I will say, the service was really good and everyone was kind and attentive. Other than that, this place is entirely way too expensive. It's like they want to charge fine dining pricing but it's not that at all. Yes, the place is nice and the ambiance is good, but the price for majority of what's on the menu should be cut in half. I ordered fried red snapper that had the nerve to be around $48. The price wouldn't bother me as much if it was actually good but it wasn't. One of the sides that was supposed to come with it I never even got. My husband got the salmon and the mashed potatoes with it tasted like boxed mashed potatoes. My cocktail was okay but not that great for it to be $20+. There are definitely others fine dining restaurants with way better food and drinks that actually match what they charge. I do not see myself going back. read more

I visited this place to celebrate my anniversary with my partner on a Sunday after brunch. It was quiet, and the music playing and the DJ's song transitions weren't very good. However, the ambiance was nice, giving off a nighttime vibe. I could give a better review if I visited at night or for brunch, but the dining experience was pleasant. The service was okay, and although my partner's steak was initially overcooked, they did replace it. The Seabass was surprisingly good, as I usually prefer red snapper. The lobster mac & cheese was OK and plantains was regular however the mushrooms that I had underneath my sea bass fish was amazing though.The bathroom was clean and had a beautiful mirror, but the overall vibe wasn't great, possibly due to the lack of people on a Sunday after brunch. The brunch menu looked quite good, so I recommend visiting during brunch or perhaps on a late night, Friday, or Saturday. I forgot to tell yall about the drinks, so the lychee martini had too much coconut. Jesus, I was like, oh no, and my man's drink. I wish I could remember the name. I might edit this again tomorrow and find out, but his taste is good, and it is one of their signature drinks. read more

Xperience is exactly that: an experience. It is an interactive mixture of a classy club / lounge like dining experience. I would suggest making a reservation even if you're dining with 2. Our party of 8 bypassed the line of waiting people and was warmly greeted on a rainy Saturday. As you enter the vestibule you are transported into the ambiance. Every part of the space is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed perusing the digital menus. Quite a few of us ordered craft cocktails and appetizers. We enjoyed the entertainment while we waited for our entrees. On this particular evening there was a DJ accompanied by a saxophonist who played along with classic hits and dancers. I actually joined the dancers when they came to our table, they were welcoming and encouraged my bad behavior lol. The food and cocktails were beautifully presented. I had the Cesar salad without anchovies, baked macaroni and cheese and a mojito. I would certainly return for an evening of fun. read more

The Set up is nice inside the establishment. The service was not good. The price for the drinks and food was unreasonable for the quality of the meal. I spent $324 for 2 meals including drinks. The waitress brought us a drink we didn't order. The drinks were just not good. There were fights going on while I'm trying to eat this dry fish. The experience at Xperience just wasn't good. read more
