One thing about jama grille! They gonna come with the best music your ears can ask for. The drinks are amazing. Make sure you ask for Birah! Also, the menu here is mouthwatering and fulfilling with every bite.

They quoted us an hour and 45 minute wait -- way too long -- so we made a game-time decision and went to Miller's Ale House instead. Honestly? Very glad we did. We stopped by on a warmer night after a week of being snowed in, so I'm guessing they may have been caught a little off guard because they were definitely understaffed. We were quoted a 35-minute wait and ended up being seated in about 30, which was appreciated. There were quite a few empty tables, but it was clear they were trying to keep the load manageable for the kitchen. Our server Jack apologized for the backup and genuinely did his best to stay on top of things while juggling a lot of tables -- no complaints about the effort at all. We started with wings, which were solid. For entrées, we had the chicken quesadillas and the steak & shrimp combo -- both were good and hit the spot. Overall, it was a decent experience. Restaurant was clean and well kept. The only real downside was the lack of seating for people waiting -- we had to stand the entire 30 minutes, which wasn't the most comfortable. With a few adjustments on busy nights, this place could easily be a 5-star visit.

Upon getting there, it is a nice Marina bar that has a grave a lot. We walked shortly from the parking lot and got seats of the bar right away. There was a good amount of people there for a Saturday afternoon. However, we were helped right away. Their beer prices are pretty phenomenal in my opinion. The selection I think is pretty good too. We were speaking with one of the people behind the bar and they said the plan is to also have food trucks here eventually as well for a food option. There is ample seating here as you can see from some of the pictures I took and the two staff we talked to were very friendly. One thing that could be a pro or a con depending on your disposition is that this is an outdoor bar. There are a lot of fans going and it has a very nice breeze. How over on a hot day where something loose and breathable. However, in the spring and fall I can imagine this place having a big crowd because it seems like a really nice place to have a drink and hang out. All in all. If you're local, I would definitely come check this place out. We will definitely be back in the future.

We figure just something to hold us over till later. The menu has a great selection of food, beverages and alcoholic drinks. We ordered the Triple Play which was Pretzel Dogs, Bar Burgers, and Bone-In Wings with choice of sauce or dry rub. Served with honey By our surprise the food was Amazing!! Everything was fresh and done to perfection. The burgers was juicy, the pretzel dough wrapped around the small hot dog was handmade taste like came right out oven and the chicken came right off the bone. All the food we saw coming out looked delicious and really good sized portions. We finished our dinner off with their Banana Fosters Pie dessert and we asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on side. It was so tasty! The ambiance is sports oriented. If don't want the bar area which is very large. You can sit away from there in the family area that has the seating that's where we sat. They also had seating away from the tv's in a more secluded area. We liked where we was ,It was very nice with all the big screens around with all the different sports playing. I can't wait to go back and try other menu selections. *to anyone whom seen my original review it may have shown only four stars, but it was meant to have FIVE STARS and it was truly an error. Dave & Buster's definitely deserves five stars and may I add the waiter whom waited on us was very attentive to what we needed and very pleasant. It made the experience extra special! Ordered the red and white wine sangria a which were surprisingly tasty. For our appetizer we got the French Onion Soup and Thai wings. The soup was way too salty and like 2lbs of cheese on top. The Thai wings came with like 3 pieces of celery sticks (not enough) and the wings were very greasy and dripping in a sweet and sour sauce. Not very appetizing. I got the salad with walnuts, feta, apples and grilled chicken; this was very tasty and had just enough dressing so the salad wasn't mushy. My husband got the Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries which he enjoyed as well. Service was really good with attentive workers and fairly fast service. As would be expected we asked to speak with the manager who had a nonchalant attitude and was like "sorry a lot of people here for derby day kitchen is backed up". No genuine apology, she honestly seemed bothered to even have to come speak to us. McCloones do yourself a favor and get your name off of this place. I've dined at your West Orange and Long Branch locations and you should be ashamed to be associated with this place. Crappy service, crappy food, and management who doesn't care. Our server was friendly but lacked a sense of urgency. We did recognize that the restaurant was slightly busy upon arrival, however even when the place cleared out, she continued to neglect our table. What should have been an hour long lunch turned into 2 and a half hours. Within that time we barely were able to get a second round drinks. Most of us decided against ordering a second drink because of how long everything was taking. The few of us that ordered a second drink waited 20 minutes. We wanted to cancel them since we were asking for the check by the time they got dropped off, but didn't. The food was good. If you're looking for a good burger this is the place, I recommend their burgers and sandwiches over the wings. However again, half of us received food while the other half didn't get theirs for another 10-15 minutes. My suggestion is to sit at the bar for a faster service. Tons of tv's and some specials during the week if you're looking to catch a game and some bar bites. Overall the restaurant was clean and inviting, staff was kind but they could use some back to basics training.

This brand-new spot on Forest Avenue is a sleek, modern izakaya that feels like it was plucked straight from Tokyo and dropped into the heart of the borough. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is electric--warm wood tones, soft lighting, and a lively open kitchen where the chefs are slicing fish with samurai-level precision. I started with the Hamachi Carpaccio, drizzled in yuzu-truffle ponzu and topped with microgreens and crispy garlic chips. Each bite was a perfect balance of buttery yellowtail and bright citrus pop. The sushi omakase (chef's choice) was the star of the night. Standouts included: Bluefin Otoro so melt-in-your-mouth rich I almost cried. Uni from Hokkaido--creamy, briny, and served at the perfect chill. A live scallop nigiri still twitching on the rice (yes, that fresh). But Oishi isn't just raw fish heaven. The izakaya side shines with small plates like Wagyu Beef Skewers glazed in a sticky-sweet tare, and Truffle Miso Black Cod that flakes apart like edible art. Even the vegan options (grilled king oyster mushroom "scallops") had my plant-based friend raving. Cocktail game? Chef's kiss. The Yuzu Gin Fizz with shiso leaf garnish is dangerously drinkable, and the sake list has gems you won't find at your average spot. Service was attentive but never hovering--our server even explained the difference between akami and chutoro without making us feel like amateurs. Prices are fair for the quality (omakase ~$85, rolls $14-$18), and portions are generous. They're still in soft-open mode, but you'd never know it--everything ran like clockwork. Staten Island, we don't deserve this place... but I'll be back weekly anyway. Oishi is officially my new favorite restaurant on the island. Run, don't walk.
