This is a hidden gem, service is great, Joshua D was very warm attentive and professional. The restaurant was clean and had a relaxed vibe. The food is really good! For our apps we had the Rasta fries, Soul rolls and Caribbean street corn, all were served hot, perfectly seasoned with loads of flavor! For our entrees we had the Chicken and waffles with hot honey sauce, pan seared salmon, Fried whole wings with Mac and cheese, collard greens and potatoe salad, everything was delicious and flavorful and nicely presented. My only negative was my cocktails, I initially ordered the rum punch, it was so strong on the rum, there was no flavor, it was beautifully presented though. Joshua D was happy to change it but sadly it's replacement which was Bacardi gold and pineapple juice was not any better, still way to strong. This does not take this great restaurant off my list though. I will be back. read more

His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine effort to ensure everyone was comfortable did not go unnoticed. It was 2pm. Another lady is working the floor and intentionally is avoiding eye contact with the patrons. We came here on a date and the service was great. We ordered drinks, strawberry mojito and a glass of cabernet wine. We ordered the wingettes with the carolina bbq sauce, it was amazing. The chicken was so crispy. I ordered the jerk chicken and it came with rice and two sides. I got the collard greens and mac & cheese. They were both really really good but I wish I got the yams. My boyfriend got the oxtail meal that also came with rice and two sides. He got the collard greens and mac & cheese as well. and for dessert, we both got the chocolate and caramel churros. Blended Flavors food was good, the portions were smaller than other southern spots I've gone to. They give you decent choices as sides which are great staples for a southern spot. Parking was off street on a busy road, but I was lucky to get something nearby. I would return for the fish and the turkey wings which were flavorful. I did enjoy the fish although for my taste I would have liked a bit more flavor from the fry batter ,and crispy. As for the cornbread it was good just a little hard on the top although the inside was moist. People dine in or take out to experience quality food and service overall. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Blended Flavors on Sunday, March 29. I understand that staff can have off days or be reserved, but being completely ignored is unacceptable. On top of that, I was told the bar needed to be reserved--even though no one was sitting there. That has never been an issue before, and it made no sense. The bartender with the short blonde hair was, as usual, rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this is not my first negative interaction with her, and it's become a pattern. Additionally, the bartender with black hair who was working brunch from 12-5 that day was also inattentive and lacking in basic customer service. The overall experience from both bartenders felt dismissive and unprofessional. I do want to acknowledge that my food was actually very good, and the young lady who served me did a great job. I appreciate her attentiveness and professionalism. That said, what makes this especially frustrating is that I've been a loyal supporter of this business. My friend DJs here regularly, I bring in patrons, and I come in often since it's right down the street--especially when I don't feel like cooking. To be treated as though I'm not valued as a customer is unacceptable. Customer service is everything. If staff cannot handle a busy environment or engage respectfully with customers, they should not be in those roles. I've been patient, kind, and have given multiple chances--but this experience crossed the line. Management asked me to come back, and I may give it one more try, but this is bigger than one visit. There is a clear and consistent issue with customer service that needs to be addressed. I came here for a friend's birthday party and clearly the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures, which I never do!! I ordered the jerk salmon Rasta pasta and it was probably one of the best things I've ever had. The salmon was perfect cooked and seasoned and flaky. A little spicy and so good with the creamy pasta. I tried my friend's chicken version and I liked the salmon more honestly but both were great. I finished my entire meal and the portion wasn't small lol. Everyone else there raved about their food as well. To finish the meal, a few of us split the generous portion of banana pudding which was super tasty! 1st time visit to Blenbed flavors this afternoon & they did not disappoint. No wait came in & was seated. I enjoyed the live dj with a good mix of R&b I was vibing in my seat. At first the waiter forgot our sauce and we weren't sure if it came with any. I took a bite of my eggroll and honestly, it was so flavorful and juicy it really didn't need sauce- and I'm a BIG sauce fan. Our waiter came back fairly quickly after realizing he forgot to give it to us. The sauce was good but honestly, you get more of the flavors without it, so I recommend trying it both ways! Next was our entrees, we both selected the Rasta pasta, it sounded too good to not try. My hubby ordered oxtail with the Rasta pasta and I got the jerk chicken variation. Both meats were super tender, the pasta was creamy and had a nice blend of spices to make it truly unique. We also ordered sweet plantains as a side, they were so delicious, tossed in a spice blend that made them spicy sweet, it may have been my favorite part of the lunch! Lastly, we couldn't leave without trying the banana pudding. We saw that you could get it with churros so we opted for that one, WOW the portion was so generous. The churros were crisp on the outside with a slight gooey texture on the inside- perfect! They were also super buttery and had a nice caramel drizzle on the top for good measure. I initially mistook the crowd for the wait to dine in, but our table of three was able to be seated immediately. It's sort of an L-shaped space with table booths lined across the walls. I ordered the catfish which had a lightly fried, fresh taste. As my sides, I chose the macaroni and cheese along with the yams. These are not so much your candied yams but were still very good. This place is a HIDDEN GEM! The atmosphere was relaxing with a great play list of old school R&B that was playing at a moderate level in the background. Our waitress Jovanna. I ordered different items in the menu instead of a meal.. I ordered the catfish sandwich, which was fresh and delicious. It was cooked to perfection.. I also had the honey butter cornbread, which I have mixed feelings about because it wasn't what I thought it would be.. it came out hot but the cornbread tasted like box cornbread..Idk, it tasted ok..
