The food is sooo good! The mac and cheese, yams, greens, wings, and shrimp were my favs! I just wish the fish wasn't so small but it was lightly battered (how I like it), seasoned, and fried to perfection. The rum punch was GOODT! The live dj was great. This is a hidden gem, service is great, Joshua D was very warm attentive and professional. The restaurant was clean and had a relaxed vibe. The food is really good! For our apps we had the Rasta fries, Soul rolls and Caribbean street corn, all were served hot, perfectly seasoned with loads of flavor! For our entrees we had the Chicken and waffles with hot honey sauce, pan seared salmon, Fried whole wings with Mac and cheese, collard greens and potatoe salad, everything was delicious and flavorful and nicely presented. My only negative was my cocktails, I initially ordered the rum punch, it was so strong on the rum, there was no flavor, it was beautifully presented though. Joshua D was happy to change it but sadly it's replacement which was Bacardi gold and pineapple juice was not any better, still way to strong. We were warmly greeted by a lovely young lady at the bar, followed by a friendly and professional hostess who asked us to wait briefly while she prepared our table. Once seated, we were taken care of by our waiter, Jay, who truly made the evening exceptional. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine effort to ensure everyone was comfortable did not go unnoticed. He handled our drink, appetizer, and meal orders seamlessly and was always available for any questions. The food itself was outstanding--both the quality and portion sizes exceeded our expectations. I came for another visit with my girlfriend and tried their jerk chicken Rasta pasta & smothered turkey wings. You could taste the flavor in every bite it was amazing. The chicken was so crispy. I ordered the jerk chicken and it came with rice and two sides. I got the collard greens and mac & cheese. They were both really really good but I wish I got the yams. My boyfriend got the oxtail meal that also came with rice and two sides. He got the collard greens and mac & cheese as well. and for dessert, we both got the chocolate and caramel churros. Blended Flavors food was good, the portions were smaller than other southern spots I've gone to. They give you decent choices as sides which are great staples for a southern spot. Parking was off street on a busy road, but I was lucky to get something nearby. I would return for the fish and the turkey wings which were flavorful. The flavors were incredible, everything was cooked perfectly, and you could tell a lot of care went into the food. What made the experience even better was the service. Janai was absolutely amazing--genuinely kind, attentive, hardworking, and so helpful throughout our meal. She made us feel welcome from start to finish. I ordered on line for a pickup, because I've eaten there twice. I payed over $70.00, but the food was not the quality I expected. The fried chicken was so greasy the bottom of container was dripping with grease, Mac & Cheese was dry, catfish nuggets were few and overcooked, collard greens had no taste. The yams and soul rolls were good (soul rolls smaller than normal). I should have known it wasn't going to be good, because I received notification the food was ready 10 minutes after I ordered. I did enjoy the fish although for my taste I would have liked a bit more flavor from the fry batter ,and crispy. I came here for a friend's birthday party and clearly the food was so good that I forgot to take pictures, which I never do!! I ordered the jerk salmon Rasta pasta and it was probably one of the best things I've ever had. The salmon was perfect cooked and seasoned and flaky. A little spicy and so good with the creamy pasta. I tried my friend's chicken version and I liked the salmon more honestly but both were great. I finished my entire meal and the portion wasn't small lol. Everyone else there raved about their food as well. To finish the meal, a few of us split the generous portion of banana pudding which was super tasty! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Blended Flavors on Sunday, March 29. I understand that staff can have off days or be reserved, but being completely ignored is unacceptable. On top of that, I was told the bar needed to be reserved--even though no one was sitting there. That has never been an issue before, and it made no sense. The bartender with the short blonde hair was, as usual, rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this is not my first negative interaction with her, and it's become a pattern. Additionally, the bartender with black hair who was working brunch from 12-5 that day was also inattentive and lacking in basic customer service. The overall experience from both bartenders felt dismissive and unprofessional. I do want to acknowledge that my food was actually very good, and the young lady who served me did a great job. I appreciate her attentiveness and professionalism. That said, what makes this especially frustrating is that I've been a loyal supporter of this business. My friend DJs here regularly, I bring in patrons, and I come in often since it's right down the street--especially when I don't feel like cooking. To be treated as though I'm not valued as a customer is unacceptable. Customer service is everything. If staff cannot handle a busy environment or engage respectfully with customers, they should not be in those roles. I've been patient, kind, and have given multiple chances--but this experience crossed the line. Management asked me to come back, and I may give it one more try, but this is bigger than one visit. There is a clear and consistent issue with customer service that needs to be addressed. I hope this is taken seriously, because long-time, supportive customers should not be treated this way. read more

Came in today for a late lunch. The place was pretty empty. But it looked really nice. We had a very very nice server who I believe name is Tiffany or Tatiana. It seems as though she was the only one there at the moment, but she did a good job Being our waitress. We ordered the lemonade and the hurricane rum punch. The rum punch was good and strong. We then ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage, and the Rasta pasta with pan seared salmon. The food came out a little while later, and it was very tasty. My partner liked the jerk chicken, but wasn't a fan of the rice and peas . The Rasta pasta was really good and enough to feed 2 people, but I wasn't a fan of the teriyaki sauce that came with it. For our main dishes, my friend ordered the fried salmon and Mac and cheese. I ordered the fried catfish with Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and collard greens. We also shared the banana pudding for dessert. These dishes were amazing! Filled with flavor and a good portion for the price. The banana pudding was a but underwhelming but overall good flavor and presentation. The location is a bit small but they do have bad seating. Ambiance nice and casual, great music. I like that they are taking classic Caribbean foods and giving them a slight twist, they definitely live up to the name "blended flavors". We started with the jerk chicken egg rolls. At first the waiter forgot our sauce and we weren't sure if it came with any. I took a bite of my eggroll and honestly, it was so flavorful and juicy it really didn't need sauce- and I'm a BIG sauce fan. Our waiter came back fairly quickly after realizing he forgot to give it to us. The sauce was good but honestly, you get more of the flavors without it, so I recommend trying it both ways! Next was our entrees, we both selected the Rasta pasta, it sounded too good to not try. My hubby ordered oxtail with the Rasta pasta and I got the jerk chicken variation. Both meats were super tender, the pasta was creamy and had a nice blend of spices to make it truly unique. We also ordered sweet plantains as a side, they were so delicious, tossed in a spice blend that made them spicy sweet, it may have been my favorite part of the lunch! Lastly, we couldn't leave without trying the banana pudding. We saw that you could get it with churros so we opted for that one, WOW the portion was so generous. The churros were crisp on the outside with a slight gooey texture on the inside- perfect! They were also super buttery and had a nice caramel drizzle on the top for good measure. The banana pudding was a FULL portion and had just the right amount of sweetness and banana flavor, and of course, the nilla wafers. They also have an attractive looking bar with well positioned tv screens. Our server was very personable and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the catfish which had a lightly fried, fresh taste. As my sides, I chose the macaroni and cheese along with the yams. These are not so much your candied yams but were still very good. I also tried some of the jerk chicken spring rolls ordered as an appetizer which was not as spicy as I worried it would be. The accompanying sauce was full of heat, however. It was empty on a Saturday afternoon but I think it's because most people were doing takeout. I got my usual order. This place is a HIDDEN GEM! The atmosphere was relaxing with a great play list of old school R&B that was playing at a moderate level in the background. Our waitress Jovanna. She was very nice and prompt with taking our orders. She also made our drinks( rum punch, margarita) which were delicious! I felt we were on an island at the bar! The food is delicious!
