I took Crystals training for Ombre Eyebrows in late January 2023. I have absolutely no prior beauty experience, however I was super impressed with her work and I became curious about the PMU businesses for myself. We went depth regarding types of skin, shading, eyebrow mapping, marketing, and etc. The training came with my very own machine and enough products for 10 clients. I've been looking near and far for the right person to get my brows microbladed and I am so glad I found Crystal because she is the most patient and understanding person and super nice! I was really anxious and nervous when I arrived at her beautiful studio. But she explained every detail and step of the way so I felt really comfortable with her. She first mapped out my brow shape so I know exactly how my brows will be shaped, the thickness and length of how my they will turn out. I was so particular on how I want my brow shaped that I kept going back and forth on my decision but Crystal made some really good suggestions and pointers to me so that made me feel at ease and comfortable to go with my final brow shape. I had the ombre procedure done. The pain is tolerable. Numbing cream was applied before the session started and Crystal would always checked in on me during to see how I was doing with the pain. She also made sure I was happy with how my first side of the brow came out before she proceeded with the second. Healing takes about 14 days for most, but for me it took a few days longer, which was no big deal. I wanted to make sure the scabbing falls off on their own because ultimately that's how they heal. I was given some after care cream (A&D) and instructions. I am so so happy with how my brows came out. Long overdue review, but just want to give a shout out to Crystal, my girl~!!! I have never considered getting tattooed eyebrows, but after seeing her before/after posts on IG, I was hooked. She does eyebrows right. She was the first person to tell me my eyebrows were too high and she was right. Although a tough pill to swallow as no one really wants to hear what has been my whole life of too high eyebrows, I let her take the reins on this and just followed her direction. She honed in on the reason that since my forehead was a bit smaller, and the space between my monolid eyes and eyebrows were wide, that my eyebrows needed to be a little lower in order to make my features more proportional. Crystal is so detail oriented and likes things to perfection. She literally spent the majority of the time mapping and fixing the outline before her and I were completely satisfied with the shape. I have combination skin so she advised that ombre powder method was better for me and it came out great!! I love that my brows look photo finished! Yes, the process is a little long and it does hurt a little and healing time is 2 weeks, but it's ALL worth it. My face demeanor looks more subtle and friendlier with my new eyebrows. I didn't think I could ever have the perfect brows until I found out about this place! Both Crystal and Annette took their time in mapping out my brows. I previously had microblading done by someone else but faded through out the years, turning my brows into a slight shade of red. Crystal and Annette both helped in doing a color correction before starting the ombré process, which helped a lot in creating the perfect brows. The pain was tolerable for the most part, but towards the end, it was a little more painful because my brows went through many stages of shading at this point so it felt a little raw. However, the numbing cream worked wonders. Without it, it would've been a longer process to get through the session. Overall timing, took about 4-5 hours. Their attention to detail was amazing. I rather it take more time to have them done than having crooked brows lol. It took about 14 days for it to fully heal and it healed nicely!! I even had previous scarring in one area of my brow and it still took the ink! Look no further and give this place a try! It's well worth the money to not have to do your brows on the daily!! This was my first experience doing anything to my brows! I've never waxed, threaded, etc. before, only plucked at home by myself. So I was a little nervous going into the appointment, but Crystal was great! She really took her time drawing and mapping out the shape of my brows and reassured me she wouldn't start the tattooing process until I felt comfortable with how they looked.
