After doing some research on Yelp this place kept coming up. We wanted a little more upscale place and this seemed pretty good. We made a reservation, which I do recommend as it got pretty busy. Service was great and everything came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Filet Mignon. The flavor of this dish was tasty but the filet was a tad over cooked for what I asked for. My biggest reason 4 stars vs 5 was how loud it got in there. Like I said before they got pretty busy but there was a group of guys that clear had a few before coming to dinner and they were very loud and a little obnoxious. That's not the restaurants fault but the seating in such close quarters there was not really a quiet spot. I do recommend giving them a try for yourself!!!

I was excited to try this restaurant based on previous Yelp reviews and posted menus. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The wine menu was good and had several great choices. Our server was great. Where the restaurant fell off was the food and ambiance. I will start with the ambiance which was the biggest negative for me. I was expecting an upscale, somewhat intimate dining experience. Instead, the whole restaurant was overwhelmed by a sauced collection of frat-bros competing for the title of loudest of the loud. The food was OK. I ordered the lamb shank pot pie. I guess you can say it was deconstructed (?) because it was more of a soup with a potato filled pastry on top. The lamb, veggies and broth didn't really have a lot of flavor. The lamb contained a lot of sinew and fat which wasn't rendered from a hearty braise.

We started with cocktails, a beautifully balanced Bees Knees, a bold Old Fashioned, and a smooth Manhattan. All crafted perfectly and served in elegant glassware. For appetizers, we shared the ceviche and bruschetta, both plated beautifully and packed with fresh, vibrant flavors. The ceviche had just the right citrus tang, and the bruschetta was layered with juicy tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and a drizzle of balsamic that tied it all together. For mains, we went all out -- stuffed chicken over rice with a side of vegetables, lamb chops with garlic mashed potatoes, and a surf & turf plate with steak, shrimp, and more of those buttery mashed potatoes. Every dish was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and portioned generously. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. It's a bit on the smaller side inside, but that just adds to the charm. Service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Prices are on the higher side, but absolutely worth it for the quality of food and overall experience. Highly recommend for a date night or special dinner while in St. Thomas!

Stayed in Sapphire Beach for about a week and actually had dinner here twice. The first time was via reservation and second was with some luck that bar space opened when we walked in. Lots of locals and visitors to chat with but it was the bar staff that made this place to us outstanding. They were so attentive that at times it felt like private dining. We had shrimp, caprese salad and split a ribeye one night and a filet mignon the other. Each meal was cooked perfectly and plentiful (took some home). We highly recommend it. Enjoy!

I was excited about going to XO. I am disappointed to say that it did not live to my expectations. I am giving it 3 stars because the service was outstanding and the drinks the bartender made were well crafted. Upon seating we ordered the brie as an appetizer and jt was actually delicious but our main course were both a serious disappointment. My husbands duck was tough, the sauce was overpowering and it felt like they were trying to mask the flavor with the sauce and my pasta was very citrusy, I could barely eat it. We then ordered dessert and the bread pudding was so dry and flavorless it did not make things better. Maybe we went on a night the chef was having a bad day. I would be willing to give this place another try because the service was too good to not go back.

They have a bottomless mimosa option and this place feels like it would be a great brunch vibe Service: 4 stars. Staff was super nice and waitress was helpful in regards of what to order. There was an issue with steak being overcooked and they were able to replace it, but it did take taking to 3 different people, which I thought was weird Drinks: 3.5 stars. The Rum away with me was absolutely wonderful, but the White Russian was not good at all Food : 4.5 stars Steak and eggs was fantastic. We had to get the steak recooked, but when it was made well, it was a top shelf steak. Crab cakes: also would recommend! No notes here Breakfast burger:,really loved the fact that the patty was smashed. I was worried that there was too much going on but everything combined quite nicely. I got the breakfast potatoes and they weren't really anything special. Overall this place was a 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up to 5 because the vibe and views were immaculate

One negative, our receipt had already included gratuity and when they handed me receipt, there was another blank line asking for gratuity (again!) and showing % options. This is very deceiving. The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. While I want to say we were met with a warm island welcome, instead, we were met by a grouchy young lady who seemed less than happy to be working or enjoying her day. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous. It was cooked perfectly and had a sauce that was delicious! At the end of the day, this was a great experience, and if you can get down to the restaurant (which is a hike), you will absolutely enjoy the meal and ask for Kieke and ignore the rude hostess.

Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!).

We originally had another restaurant on our radar but BOY were we happy we decided to take the short walk from the ship pier to Cravin' Crabs! They even serve Pancit (a delicious filipino noodle/spaghetti dish) I was not expecting to see that on the menu! Then when we left we realized there's a Filipino deli right next-door. So apparently it's authentic. The seafood was fresh and all the sides were unique and scrumptious! There was one side we enjoyed, we were not sure what it was, we could only decide it was the mashed potatoes, it tasted and had the texture more of some sort of dressing. Our server asked if we wanted some of the Tuscan seafood gravy on it and Yes, Yes, yes!! We did!! There was a little bit of a language barrier but we just pointed at what we wanted and it all worked out!! The food is right in front of you like cafeteria style so you can see what you are getting. My husband and I split one Tuscan Seafood plate with two sides, that was MORE than enough for the two of us for lunch. We'd definitely go back next time we are in ST. Thomas. Bravo!
