This appears to be my only option in this area. I paid for upgraded internet speed as I work from home. I cannot use my camera online for Zoom meetings as I receive a notice of "unstable connection" this a norm. It freezes my screen. So when I actually connect they say woo hoo you have 800mbs of service. But at this moment, I have no connection as usual. What a joke. I have worked online for years in other locations and have never experienced such unreliable service. I am currently looking at my TV screen on a Monday night, which tells me to check my cables and restart, for the third time. Power all good, only Infinty is failing. Absolute worst. Constantly losing service and the last time it happened the best they could do was get someone out 3 days later. In between the call I made and my appointment Comcast thought they fixed the issue so they canceled the appointment with zero communication that they did that. It almost impossible to speak to a customer service representative. I received my current bill and it went up almost $40.00 a month as whatever plan I was under had expired. When I FINALLY got to speak to someone they explained the reason for the increase. I had to haggle and threaten to cancel before I could get a reduction. They are very difficult to get through to, and keep using Covid as an excuse...what does Covid have to do with being on the phone???!!! I regret to say that Xfinity Mobile is, in my experience, the worst mobile phone company in the USA. I've spoken with over 10 different representatives on more than 10 separate occasions about a simple iPhone return, and not a single person has been able to provide me with a straightforward return label. The customer service representatives are ill-prepared and spend hours asking repetitive questions without any record of previous interactions. It's baffling that I have to reiterate my issue every single time, answering the same questions over and over again. To make matters worse, the connection with the agent frequently drops. It's inconceivable that a company of this size can have such abysmal customer service. I will be switching to T-Mobile as soon as possible. read more

I was the customer who paid bills on-time, used their services for over 20 years and when it came time to disconnect, xfinity charged me an arm and a leg to close the account, because I had changed something in my service a year before and therefore they had me sign a new contract. The problem is that they have monopolized the market in Seattle are and the choices are but a few. The service was not consistent and to reach a live technician was always a problem and once you talk to someone - they are located in a foreign country. I wish zero stars was an option. I signed up for internet and cell service. I lasted one month and then it took me two more months to cancel everything and get my money back for the months I never even used the service. The internet was very intermittent and the upload speed was TERRIBLE. Customer support takes for ever to reach and they claim they are fixing things but they never really do. Charged for Xfinity sending me wrong box four times My small box didn't work, so I ordered a replacement. Told agent specific serial number and was sent wrong box four times, making me take each wrong box to UPS store (four trips). Very inconvenient. On the first wrong box, they said I needed a technician. Technician came and said it won't ever work with the box they sent and then proceeded to charge me $100 fee for their mistake. I have received a one-time courtesy credit, but no credit for all their mistakes and wasting my time. They won't even admit to their mistakes. I think these fees are a scam. Beware, they will charge you even if it's their fault. Horrible customer service. I don't even want a replacement box anymore. read more

Xfinity/Comcast TERRIBLE Install Port St. Lucie, Florida; Xfinity/Comcast came out to change out the Xfinity/Comcast equipment in my disabled Mom's home and took advantage of her limited sight. Item 1: The spare bedroom had a nice wire run along the wall and the old box mounted to the back of the TV. In comes Comcast and this is what they leave. See the box just hanging. Cord out in the trip area. Item 2: In the main bedroom they had to go behind the dresser to get to a power strip, so guess where they left it. That's right on top of the dresser instead of back where they found it. Did they put the new box behind the TV, like the old one? Of course they didn't, now its next to the DVD player with hanging wires. Item 3: In the living room they made a mess of the box area and for some reason chose to use two CD collection boxes to put the new box on. Then after having trouble setting up the remote, the Xfinity/Comcast Installer told my Mom she would have to use the old Xfinity/Comcast remote for on/off and sound and the new Xfinity/Comcast remote for changing channels. With her limited eyesight finding one remote is challenging enough. Wow, if only I had been there to toss this "expert" out of the house. Item 4: When putting the Xfinity/Comcast modem in the other bedroom, the Xfinity/Comcast installer started to take my personal modem, luckily my Mom saw this and stopped him. Take a look, that's where the power cord for my modem was left. I went to the Xfinity/Comcast store with pictures to express my concern to both a representative and then a manager only to be told "We are retail we schedule and send installers out, but are not responsible for the work, you have to call to get installation department." Three calls and 32 minutes later I was told by Xfinity/Comcast the best they could do was schedule a new installer to come out and fix things. I ensured it was scheduled for when I can be there to PROTECT my Mom from these people. They also said an Installer Supervisor would call me. I'm holding my breath. Sad thing is, the cable is built into the HOA bill and Mom has no choice, but to pay for cable. I guess in a neighborhood where a lot of the homeowners are in their seventies, eighties, and nineties it's easy to do half a job and get away with it. Choose anybody but these guys! Product Offerings: About as non-competitive as you can get....prices continue to increase while product offerings/services are decreasing. Strategic packaging of channels makes it very difficult to obtain the basic offerings at a competitive rate. I think you'll find this company at the highest level of pricing for all products they offer. Equipment: Equipment is horrible with most of what they provide being sub-par equipment...they brand it as refurbished...which for them simply means wiped down and repackaged. In other words...someone else's problems passed on to you! Service: Good luck ever getting to a live person and if you are ever lucky to have enough free time to migrate thru their endless loops of their automated system you may reach a 'new to english' person whose entire script is 'just unplug...wait 10 seconds...plug back in...then wait the 20 mins it takes their equipment to reboot"...only to reach the exact same problem you called abt in the first place. Most times though you'll never get that far before you fall prey to there many impolite disconnects. If you enjoy the exercise of getting up...going to the cable box or wifi equipment...unplugging and plugging back in...multiple times every day then these guys are for you! Xfinity is the worst company. Cable goes out many times a day. They don't have any programs for disabled seniors struggling financially. They charge you for everything. The modem is old piece of junk. It goes out many times. It's hard to turn on because it's outdated. That's what they think we deserve for $10 dollars a month because we are on food stamps. Shame on them. Being home because we are sick with many illnesses it's hard to stare at four walls. We were HOMELESS 11 months and now we have an apartment. We are greatful but when we get charged over $150 dollars for cable TV it makes us feel sad because it's taking the money away from eating and medicine. Service is the worst I can remember ever encountering from anyone I have done business with. Signed up for service for a vacant rental property I just acquired. Spoke to 3 different representatives and got 3 different answers regarding pricing and enrollment. Just needed service for the purpose of having security cameras on the property. Picked up and installed the equipment but it did not work. After signing up for coverage, I could no longer access a live human and was unable to get help. I guess once they rope you in, their system recognizes your phone number as an " existing customer" so you are then banned from escaping the automated system. Finally after repeated calls, I went to one of their offices where I learned that my brother, who was previously living in the house and passed away earlier in the year had a balance with xfinity (assuming after he passed?) and that balance was now my problem so once they enrolled me, they supposedly turned on service and then immediately turned it off. This never came up in any conversations while they were so quick to get me enrolled. Deplorable service and communications from this outfit. read more

The high speed is great...we signed on as soon as optic was run up to our neighborhood a couple months ago. On the other hand, we've been through 4 modems...including driving 2 hours to Albuquerque as a final last resort to get the right one that worked...and endless hours on the phone with their support. Has crashed way too often...and then they messed up our bill this month, too...charging for two modems 'cause their employee in Albuquerque neglected to credit the returned one. Also, their line guys...watch them when installing. They did a really bad job running the line, anchoring it to the house and running to entry spot...too much line and really ugly work. read more

Nightmare from day one. Sent unnecessary equipment to my home. I told the installer when he was here. It's now been sitting in my living room in its original box for months. I am older and disabled. Have advised numerous Xfinity agents I can not lug this equipment back. Just found out they'be been billing me for this equipment. Was just told to call UPS They'd get it all done. I've received awful service from xfinity. There's a old xfinity service pole on my property I'm told should not even be here. Wires falling for months and complaint after complaint nothing done by Comcast. They sent rep out here twice who confirmed it's an old/dated pole FPL/Comcast was supposed to remove years ago but somehow didn't and didn't attach wires to proper pole. After many month of trying to fix with xfinity/Comcast I'm switching to T-Mobile that just came available as an alternative. Worse service I've ever received - even with a known safety hazard- the pole is at an awful angle and seems about to fall and damage my or my neighbors property. The customer service rep was unable to grasp what I was reporting. I asked if it was possible to talk with a manager as I clearly had a larger issue involving multiple accounts and she repeatedly ignored my request. Ultimately she kept putting me on hold without speaking and then hung up after 25 minutes. In the 4 days I've been a customer, I: - spent over an hour on the phone getting my account set up by an unknowledgeable salesperson - spent another 45 minutes in a store location because I was told it wasn't done properly the first time - spent another 2 hours on the phone (all same day) because, again, I was told my account was improperly set up - had internet for 2 days successfully - came home on day 4 to no internet - was notified I had a passed due bill interrupting service - paid the bill, but did not have service restored - spent the next 2.5 hours on the phone being told the bill I was forced to pay was never mine, but the previous tenant's, and I shouldn't have had to pay it; had 3 agents transfer me to the wrong place and each time had to restart the whole process with Xfinity's horrendous chat and voice queues, none of which would connect me with the collections department... a department I shouldn't need to be reaching out to to begin with. As someone who's been in customer service for a long time, I can identify when things are just not running smoothly, but this has been the worst service experience I've witnessed and it didn't strike me as unordinary for this cimpany. It shouldn't be this difficult to get a human on the phone to help resolve an issue. This was a shameful example of how a company resolves issues it creates. read more

Watch out people. Xfinity just charged my bank account $584 for an auto payment. I did not sign up for auto payments nor did I even owe $584. I had just payed a $316 payment the day before. My account even has a negative amount due now. Talked to 3 different people. They said they escalated the case and would get back to us. We stopped the payment at our bank but now a week later they just did it again and this time it is already processed and I still have not heard back. They are crooks. Comcast xfinity has abysmal service. Thought they were making efforts to give better service. Signed up for the streaming package, downloaded the app and could not get any TV channels. Spent four hours on hold throughout the day and over two hours talking to technical people who merely read from a script and asked the same questions that did not pertain to our problem. These people are intelligent, English speakers being exploited for cheap labor. They merely go to scripts, are untrained & unable to troubleshoot or think out of the box. Zero trust in how Comcast will be if there are further problems with their service. Disgusted & frustrated that I have spent over nine hours either on hold or talking to someone in a call room who reads from scripts. You do not deserve my business. Beware. read more

We just had xfinity come and install a new system, switching from direct TV. They installed new cable new boxes and it was great for 8 hours... then nothing works 2 hours on the phone told me to go to xfinity swap boxes nothing works... they can't get a tech out so our brand beware xfinity system completely sucks!!! read more

Went to the Xfinity store on Donald Ross in Palm Beach Gardens recently. I added a phone to a plan and wound up getting billed twice after requesting the 2 lines be consolidated. I also traded in a phone, found out that the mailing address to mail my check for the trade-in was wrong, and neither a, Xfinity store rep or Assurant could help me change the address. I will never go into another Xfinity store after today. Luckily one of their offshore reps was able to help me,but the store support is really weak. read more
