Honestly if I could select 0 stars for this location I would. I have been trying to switch over to xfinity mobile for the past 3 weeks and have visited the store now 4 times and have not been able to get the service. There seems to be an "error code" that pops up every time they try and get into the mobile website and while I understand that may not be the sales reps fault, they could do more than stare at me like a deer in headlights when the message comes up. So while there is some mystery error "haunting" my account as one rep put it (good to know they are trained to handle these types of situations) these people do nothing to put you at ease and the same manager has been at the store every. single. time that I have visited and can't even be bothered to help his reps or come over and help assure me that the problem is being addressed. I will disclaim that a few of the reps I worked with did what they could with what they were equipped with, which I'll be honest is not much but again, where is the manager?! Or is he literally just as clueless? If you have the time it would probably be worth while to drive to a different location for any of your xfinity needs, the lack of customer service here is worth the drive elsewhere. read more

Terrible! I've asked Comcast to shut off my service four times and they won't shut the internet and cable off! Idiots!!!!

Already came in to return equipment airing going on 30 minutes and still about seven people in front of me, clearly understaffed last time I come into this location read more

I HATE COMCAST - Yes, I said it - but this review is not about the company - but about the people who work at this location. Kevin, Diedre, and Daisey - while Comcast service and their direct sales are the worst, these three individuals have helped make wine out of sour grapes. Yes, I have been here three times in the last month - and to another location for a fourth visit (which by the way they screwed things up). If it was not for their fantastic customer service, smiles, willingness to listen and fix the problems who knows.....BUT, hats of to these three and whatever they are doing at the Vernon Hills location. They have figured out what service is, the 5 stars is for those three individuals, Comcast as a service I am purchasing would not even get 1. read more

Very disappointing service. I came into buy an iphone 7 and they didn't have any. They had me order online through the rep and I wasn't able to order a black one because it was being discontinued. Low and behold that is back in stock and I'm still waiting another 2 weeks for the silver one to come in. Add in the fact that the rep knew little to nothing about the phones and just rushed me. Very disappointing service. read more

I give 5 Stars because well let me explain why.. There is One Certain Coworker that works there. She is very kind and helpful everytime i go in to the store. She always answers all the questions that i have. She is never rude and I believe her name was Crystal.. She is very hard & amazing Xfinity Coworker. Thank you So much Crystal !! read more

Earlier this week my wife and I switched our mobile service from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile. Our Sales Consultant, Yasmin BuenoBueno, made this an easy transition. Not only did Yasmin show me a great savings on our service, she answered all our questions and was fantastic to work with. I highly recommend Yasmin should you wish to move to Xfinity Mobile. Xfinity Mobile is certainly worth researching. read more

i dont know if one can hit themselves with a hammer any harder than i have lately dealing with this company..... ok if i purchase the internet blast plan where im supposed to be getting 75mbps but im only getting up to 45mbps per speedtests, what is wrong with that picture?? so im paying for 75mbps but only getting 35-45mbps? really? really? no wonder why everybody hates comcast so much, cuz they pull this crap on people.... wow and i just signed up for comcast last week and i already want to hit myself with a hammer repeatedly....lol google fiber needs to come and they need to come here fast and eliminate these punks comcast and att wow smh read more

Do you enjoy waiting? Do you enjoy employees that are so limited by their systems that nothing can be done? This is the place for you! You'll be waiting so long and going round and round that you now need a restroom and you have to go to the furniture store next door because they don't have a restroom. Good news, the furniture store is really nice to you. I enjoyed paying $90 to cancel service because their system can't set up new service that far in advance. Being treated like crap from a condensing manager and being told how much the late fee is if I don't pay it right away. Oh, but no, the fee can't be paid now, their system will not allow it. Face to face classic Comcast customer service, all the inconvenience, incompetence, and headache, without the hold music. Sadly better than Waukegan. My new place has other options for TV and Internet. I was going to move service, but after this experience, I will be going with the other choice. read more

This store is pretty new, opened just 3 months back. Unlike other Xfinity stores, there is no wait time, got good decor and staff is enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. read more

I decided to bring in my old cable box since I got the new one by mail. I thought I'd drop it and go at the store in Vernon Hills. But no, I have to wait so they can take it off my account. I said that it would have been easier to send it via UPS. The "customer service" rep said you can still go and do that. I'm literally at the store, saving them money on shipping. I'm soooooo annoyed. Xfinity, I thought you were trying to improve customer service. read more

Had a great experience today at the Vernon Hills Xfinity store. Michael was extremely polite, helpful and knowledgable. Even thought I was only looking for basic internet alone, he patiently spent time looking for a good package for me and getting everything packaged and ready, explaining how it could easily be set up myself. I would defiantly recommend this store and would recommend WiFi from Xfinity. Really, a good store employee makes all the difference, as did Michael for my opinion of Comcast. read more

Brutal. Can't believe there isn't an option for zero stars. What a waste of time, this debacle started during two separate phone calls to customer service trying to change a name on an account, was told i needed to bring in a piece of mail showing the new resident, however after sitting in traffic for 30 minutes and waiting so the agent could "check everybody in" I was told I needed a death certificate. Awesome. Really helpful. Thanks a lot for everything, sure made the decision to cut the cord a lot easier read more

Really walked in to drop off and one of the return a box that we didn't need anymore and deal with another arrogant Young fool ,who gladly said "I guess" when I was irritated and said well maybe I should just switch to at&t,so I sat down to wait in line even though there is like a dozen ppl that work there just farting around and decide that was exactly what our household would do instead of paying too much $203 month we'll see how at&t''s service is these days and walked out cause instead of returning 1 device it will be all 5 and well will send through ups so com cast can pay extra for hiring dipsticks read more

Wow does their customer service suck!!! Trying to get their tv service and it was a circus! No communication within reps, just horrible! I will be very desperate if i have to get their service read more

We aren't a big fan of the prices of Comcast, but Daisy helped us and made our experience much better compares to the other comcast locations we have been to. If you need help, ask for Daisy! I think she's the only one that understands the Comcast services. (We're still getting at&t though). read more

#comcast #xfinity #internetservices #internetserviceprovider #cabletvprovider #cabletvservicesvernonhills #landlineservices #phoneservices #tvservices #comcastxfinity #comcastXcustomer By default, your store gets this rating because as of today after 25 years as a loyal customer, you're fired!! Had enough of your over priced up selling poor customer service. Who can say they have had a customer in this industry for this long. Failure is not a strong enough word when it comes to your automated systems, your lack of service and your fraudulent wireless speeds and nickel and dime protocols. I completely expect to get a notification in the mail in the next 5 years that someone has brought a class action suit against you for your business practices. If you lack of service and loyalty to your customers is this bad, it starts from the top and cascades to the bottom. I am cancelling my account by default of non-payment because I spent on hour on the phone today just trying to talk to one of your poorly spoken uneducated just don't give a damn customer service folks. I will drop of the electronic garbage that is outdated and over priced that has been sitting on my desk and next to my tv for the last 10 years to one of your service centers. Comcast Home of X-Customers. In a time when customer service is non-existent with phone, mobile, internet, cable and other tech or large companies, nobody can say they have had a loyal customer for over 10 years let alone 25. Instead of celebrating your long standing customers you penalize them for being so stupid and not realizing sooner this was a mistake. Your new customers get great deals and on time service, but your existing customers get jilted. at some point the large big box conglomerate companies will wise up and realize that losing customers cost money and gaining a new one is equally as expensive. The amount of time I have spent trying to get issues resolved with your online system and direct to a cs agent, also costs you money. Imaging if you service levels were higher and your call centers did not have to spend so much time on the phone. * Poor customer service * Poor internet service (over price and fraudulent practice of saying its xx mb of speed when it is half the speed (get it checked if you are with them now by looking up network speed analyzer) * Downtime and no credit eronious charges * Higher prices than competitors * Disposable customers read more

The waits are horrendous. My modem- a fairly new modem from Xfinity- died. Of course I had to go to the store to get a new one. I waited at least 45 minutes just for a new modem. There were not enough reps, and they took so long with each customer. I could see the looks of frustration on those customers faces. Minimize your exposure to Xfinity- buy equipment. Find a better service. But let me know what service you find! read more

True to comcast form, curt service, and inferior product. I came in to pick up an X1 box, and they gave me a receiver with no cables to hook it up to the TV, and the box itself doesn't even work. What is the point of having a store front if a service tech needs to come out anyways? read more

Big fat no to Xfinity and Comcast. Never do business with this company. They do not adhere to signed contracts, which is illegal. No one from customer service on the phone or in person was able to help with my issue. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I would have to wait 20 min. I cancelled service. No one deserves to be treated like this. read more

I moved and transferred service from house to house. The rep cancelled my plan why ill never know... they then. Set up my new home etc paid the $60 fee. All was well until i get a call from collections stating I own them $281.... well i went to the store on North ave and asked them what is going on here. They confirmed it was early termination fees etc and they would take care of it. I was promised a phone call from the assistant store manager Tiffany that never came... today I got an alert from credit karma that the collection was showing and droppped my score 15 points !!!! I have paid my bills , I called and transferred services like they want you to do and all I got was we we deal with a thousand customers a month.. and. We cant do anything for you other than fix it because the "other" department never completed ot after it was approved .. we can't make this right in any way and the apology was less than an apology it was a slap in the face.. I said as a customer if im told I will get a call back and I dont then thats bad service. Tiffany said that all she will do is have the store manager call. Which he said he will call back at five o'clock pm its 458pm now so Ill see what happens .... credit score impacted two visits to the store about something that should have never happened... disappointed and feel very brushed off by the in all fairness we are busy here comment by bryant and "We did our part " comment no sir if you would have followed up on it it would have never made it to collections as you promised it would not be with a quick ticket in the system! Well now what ?!?! read more
