I HATE COMCAST - Yes, I said it - but this review is not about the company - but about the people who work at this location. Kevin, Diedre, and Daisey - while Comcast service and their direct sales are the worst, these three individuals have helped make wine out of sour grapes. Yes, I have been here three times in the last month - and to another location for a fourth visit (which by the way they screwed things up). If it was not for their fantastic customer service, smiles, willingness to listen and fix the problems who knows.....BUT, hats of to these three and whatever they are doing at the Vernon Hills location. Very disappointing service. I came into buy an iphone 7 and they didn't have any. They had me order online through the rep and I wasn't able to order a black one because it was being discontinued. Low and behold that is back in stock and I'm still waiting another 2 weeks for the silver one to come in. Add in the fact that the rep knew little to nothing about the phones and just rushed me. Earlier this week my wife and I switched our mobile service from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile. Our Sales Consultant, Yasmin BuenoBueno, made this an easy transition. Do you enjoy waiting? Do you enjoy employees that are so limited by their systems that nothing can be done? This is the place for you! You'll be waiting so long and going round and round that you now need a restroom and you have to go to the furniture store next door because they don't have a restroom. Good news, the furniture store is really nice to you. I enjoyed paying $90 to cancel service because their system can't set up new service that far in advance. Being treated like crap from a condensing manager and being told how much the late fee is if I don't pay it right away. Oh, but no, the fee can't be paid now, their system will not allow it. Face to face classic Comcast customer service, all the inconvenience, incompetence, and headache, without the hold music. Sadly better than Waukegan. I decided to bring in my old cable box since I got the new one by mail. I thought I'd drop it and go at the store in Vernon Hills. But no, I have to wait so they can take it off my account. I said that it would have been easier to send it via UPS. The "customer service" rep said you can still go and do that. I'm literally at the store, saving them money on shipping. I'm soooooo annoyed. Had a great experience today at the Vernon Hills Xfinity store. Michael was extremely polite, helpful and knowledgable. Even thought I was only looking for basic internet alone, he patiently spent time looking for a good package for me and getting everything packaged and ready, explaining how it could easily be set up myself. I would defiantly recommend this store and would recommend WiFi from Xfinity. Really, a good store employee makes all the difference, as did Michael for my opinion of Comcast. read more

Brutal. Can't believe there isn't an option for zero stars. What a waste of time, this debacle started during two separate phone calls to customer service trying to change a name on an account, was told i needed to bring in a piece of mail showing the new resident, however after sitting in traffic for 30 minutes and waiting so the agent could "check everybody in" I was told I needed a death certificate. Really walked in to drop off and one of the return a box that we didn't need anymore and deal with another arrogant Young fool ,who gladly said "I guess" when I was irritated and said well maybe I should just switch to at&t,so I sat down to wait in line even though there is like a dozen ppl that work there just farting around and decide that was exactly what our household would do instead of paying too much $203 month we'll see how at&t''s service is these days and walked out cause instead of returning 1 device it will be all 5 and well will send through ups so com cast can pay extra for hiring dipsticks read more

We aren't a big fan of the prices of Comcast, but Daisy helped us and made our experience much better compares to the other comcast locations we have been to. If you need help, ask for Daisy! I think she's the only one that understands the Comcast services. (We're still getting at&t though). read more

The waits are horrendous. My modem- a fairly new modem from Xfinity- died. Of course I had to go to the store to get a new one. I waited at least 45 minutes just for a new modem. There were not enough reps, and they took so long with each customer. I could see the looks of frustration on those customers faces. Minimize your exposure to Xfinity- buy equipment. Find a better service. But let me know what service you find! read more

I moved and transferred service from house to house. The rep cancelled my plan why ill never know... they then. Set up my new home etc paid the $60 fee. All was well until i get a call from collections stating I own them $281.... well i went to the store on North ave and asked them what is going on here. They confirmed it was early termination fees etc and they would take care of it. I was promised a phone call from the assistant store manager Tiffany that never came... today I got an alert from credit karma that the collection was showing and droppped my score 15 points !!!! I have paid my bills , I called and transferred services like they want you to do and all I got was we we deal with a thousand customers a month.. and. We cant do anything for you other than fix it because the "other" department never completed ot after it was approved .. we can't make this right in any way and the apology was less than an apology it was a slap in the face.. I said as a customer if im told I will get a call back and I dont then thats bad service. Tiffany said that all she will do is have the store manager call. Which he said he will call back at five o'clock pm its 458pm now so Ill see what happens .... credit score impacted two visits to the store about something that should have never happened... disappointed and feel very brushed off by the in all fairness we are busy here comment by bryant and "We did our part " comment no sir if you would have followed up on it it would have never made it to collections as you promised it would not be with a quick ticket in the system! Big fat no to Xfinity and Comcast. Never do business with this company. They do not adhere to signed contracts, which is illegal. No one from customer service on the phone or in person was able to help with my issue. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I would have to wait 20 min. I cancelled service.
