Ok this location is excellent - but why? Jorge. He was the absolute best. I went in with my mom who is hard of hearing and gets easily confused with technology. Jorge was so professional, caring and patient. He took the time needed to explain everything to me and my mom and set her up with a great phone and iPad. I left feeling like he truly cared about making things easy for my mom. A week later I took my dad over, also hard if hearing and confused with technology. And Jorge was our guy. Once again he helped us get a new phone and made everything so easy and even had the staff sing happy birthday to my dad. I love this guy. A truly amazing human. Thanks, Jorge!!!! read more

Terrible Service had to wait over half hour to receive Service. Representative very curt could care less about customer relations

My sales person was lacking in explaining the billing and contradicted himself . He said I should fully charge device and let it deplete three times to 0 but when he transferred my info on data to cloud he plugged it in . I asked him about that and he said it takes up to much power streaming . When in our conversation prior to purchase he told me he streams all the time and the battery lasts for a very long time . I decided to return a holder for the car and when he came in he was with a customer . No acknowledgement or anything . Even from the beginning no intro just was not satisfied with his service . Walked in and waited to get helped. No one cared to tell me how long the wait would be. Once they were ready to help, they told me 3 people were in front of me when that was not the case. I walked in before them. I just needed a to buy a new screen protector quickly. They refused to help me right away and said I needed to wait. They should tell you how long the wait is the second you walk in. A waste of time and horrible customer service. read more

Very unprofessional people. The manager doesn't care to truly help you out. And if you're looking to trade your iPhone, Don't go there. They will tell you all the negative reasons why you will not get much for your old phone. That's why we ended up going to the T-mobile located in the Hawthorn mall. Those guys are awesome. I have a perfectly good phone without any damage but wanted to upgrade to something new. The option I was given was to pay full price for the Iphone11. I mentioned that I was on the T-Mobile website and saw there was a discount and trade in for the iPhone 6S plus. I was then told that was for "new" customers and didn't apply to me. However I could pay $20 each month for 24months to add an extra line and then be offered a similar deal. He said he wasn't sure when the next promotion would be but they usually have them on Black Friday (this is January). I'm somewhat surprised that T-Mobile has such poor customer service. In my line of business I just cannot image telling one of my long time customers that they don't qualify for an offer or they have to pay more, since they are a current customer. It was funny too because I mentioned Sprint (the company T-Mobile is trying to merge with) and this sales guy slammed them about what poor service they have and changing from T-Mobile would be like driving a 2019 Cadillac then switching to a 2001 Accord. Well if blowing your customer off when he comes in for help is considered "good customer service" then maybe I should check out some other options. read more

I attempted to make a purchase for a new iPhone online & with an online agent, but was referred to the store due to the site having technical difficulties. I called ahead to this store & was told they had the phone I wanted in stock. I traveled to the store fully expecting to pay what I was about to pay online. However, Giovanni wanted to charge me $107.93 more. Stating that any purchase made in store came with an assistant fee & activation fee. When prompted to itemize these fees Giovanni began to explain they are fees everyone has to pay including him. I explained I was referred & shouldn't be penalized for their site not functioning properly. It's already an inconvenience for me to travel to the store in times like these and now I have to pay more? Giovanni explained that if I wanted to pay less I would need to pay him what he was asking for then deal with customer service over the phone. Stating that only they could waive fees & provide credits. I wasn't going to pay over $500 only to have to beg for a credit of $100 to be given back. I decided to call customer service right there in the store & the phone agent not only said the store could waive the fees, but also the shipping fees if the phone wasn't in stock. This phone conversation lasted over an hour. The store employees could not be less bothered by me doing their job. I still walked out of that store empty handed.. Giovanni refused to waive the fees stating it wasn't possible/allowed & that my down payment was showing in his system to be $50 more than what myself/the agent were seeing online. I have been a customer with T-MOBILE for over 10 years, but have never been treated this way by a store employee. I am seriously considering canceling all 5 of my phone lines & my home internet service. This store really needs to stop trying to siphon money out of their customers pockets!! Lucky for me I have the transcripts of my conversations with the online agents & will be reaching out to corporate first thing tomorrow. read more

THUGS! THIEVES! FRAUDSTERS!!! Go to Another Store! T-Mobile Vernon Hills store - Bad Customer Service, Unprofessional Management, and Completely Un-trustworthy. If they promise you a refund, you won't get it. I didn't. They promised me $300 or $200 + Tab E to port my lines from AT&T, and open a business account. After, we transferred the lines, Store Manager (A.J.) promised he will make the refund in months 2 and 3. After, multiple follow ups, transferred $100. 4 months now, nothing. I went to ask, why is there a delay? He keeps stalling.... says - I will transfer it now, but it never shows up in my account. And, Tracking him is a pain, he is never in the store. And, his associates tell me - I have to wait for him, as he is the only one who can do it. Stories....... too much! Not worth it. read more
