I took an older MacBook Pro that I had taken to another shop that is well known and has several locations but they told me that it would be better off going directly through Apple since they couldn't fix it. Called in and brought in my laptop along with an iPhone 5s that I have just sitting there with a home button issue. I was told the repair shouldn't be an issue on either item and just to give them a few days. No more than three business days later I get a call saying that everything is done and ready to go, and was surprised with the amount due. I expected to pay a lot more for what I got, and didn't expect the service to be so quick. I highly recommend the shop and when I have other issues now I have a new go to place that is convenient and very reasonably priced.

The computer fell back, hitting the floor and popping the glass screen out of the shell (rendering the computer completely unusable). Four hours later, I made it back to Mundelein and brought my computer to the Computer Guys. Three hours after that, the Computer Guys called me to tell me my problem was fixable, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. The next morning, I received another call to tell me it was ready for pickup. I got to the shop, verified that my laptop was up and running, and I went on my merry way, fully-functioning computer in hand. In less than 24 hours, my computer went from functional to broken to functional again, and I couldn't have done it (and done it affordably) without the Mundelein Computer Guys. As long as I live in the area, I won't go anywhere else for my computer-related needs.

I arrive at 9:15 am and I told him I would wait for the repair and the gentlemen who I assumed is the owner told me it should be done by 11:00 - 11:30 am. So I hung out and waited. Taking in the aesthetic of business you can tell it's been here for a while with their out dated tech being displayed and old posters with phones of yesteryear. They even had a poster of a HTC phone which isn't even around anymore. I didn't care, all I wanted was my phone to be fixed. He took my phone and told me the cost to repair the phone was $315. He said the display is very expensive but he didn't give me a break down of what the screen cost and the labor to repair it. I sat back and waited and just like that he was done with my phone at 11:00 am. Good as new. Yes they are expensive but he got my phone fixed and done same day and with the quickness. Although I paid for a 1yr warranty the store refused to replace or even help fix their wrongdoing, and insisted that I pay full price again for a replacement because the screen has a hairline scratch which voids their warranty. The warranty they offer is obviously subject to their discretion at which they will use any excuse to not to fix. This issue seemed second nature to them which made me realize this is a scam they frequently use, and more importantly us to pressure women into further sales.
