I took an older MacBook Pro that I had taken to another shop that is well known and has several locations but they told me that it would be better off going directly through Apple since they couldn't fix it. Called in and brought in my laptop along with an iPhone 5s that I have just sitting there with a home button issue. I was told the repair shouldn't be an issue on either item and just to give them a few days. No more than three business days later I get a call saying that everything is done and ready to go, and was surprised with the amount due. I expected to pay a lot more for what I got, and didn't expect the service to be so quick. I highly recommend the shop and when I have other issues now I have a new go to place that is convenient and very reasonably priced.

Let me paint a picture for you all:…read more Friday morning, I sat down in my hotel room in Champaign with a bit of breakfast and my laptop balanced on the arm of the couch. The computer fell back, hitting the floor and popping the glass screen out of the shell (rendering the computer completely unusable). Four hours later, I made it back to Mundelein and brought my computer to the Computer Guys. Three hours after that, the Computer Guys called me to tell me my problem was fixable, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. The next morning, I received another call to tell me it was ready for pickup. I got to the shop, verified that my laptop was up and running, and I went on my merry way, fully-functioning computer in hand. In less than 24 hours, my computer went from functional to broken to functional again, and I couldn't have done it (and done it affordably) without the Mundelein Computer Guys. As long as I live in the area, I won't go anywhere else for my computer-related needs.

I then go in and the guy was extremely rude and pointed at my computer which was on display at the front. It looked like it wasn't even looked at. I took it back and the guy was just very rude and awful. Very unprofessional people who don't seem to know anything about computers.

The gentleman who gently put this wire back into place for me was so professional (I wish I could remember his first name - I think it may have started with an "A" ) I thanked him profusely since the family member who uses this relic (10 years old) of a phone insisted she needed THAT one repaired since she feels the most comfortable using it (rather than the new iPhones, etc... that have been on the market for years.) Even though I was in the shop for less than 3 minutes, I still was amazed he didn't charge me anything! HE REALLY BLESSED ME THAT DAY!! Thank you!!

I arrive at 9:15 am and I told him I would wait for the repair and the gentlemen who I assumed is the owner told me it should be done by 11:00 - 11:30 am. So I hung out and waited. Taking in the aesthetic of business you can tell it's been here for a while with their out dated tech being displayed and old posters with phones of yesteryear. They even had a poster of a HTC phone which isn't even around anymore. I didn't care, all I wanted was my phone to be fixed. He took my phone and told me the cost to repair the phone was $315. He said the display is very expensive but he didn't give me a break down of what the screen cost and the labor to repair it. I sat back and waited and just like that he was done with my phone at 11:00 am. Good as new. Yes they are expensive but he got my phone fixed and done same day and with the quickness. I appreciate the quality work that 911 Tech Repair did. No complaints except it's a bit pricy but what can I do?

After searching online for several repair shops near our home in Libertyville, we found Steve Fanuda in downtown Libertyville. His office was in the back of his father's jewelry store right across from Casa Bonita restaurant on Milwaukee Avenue. After reading some of the other online reviews I decided to call him and ask about his services. After speaking with him at length I decided to give him a try and see if he could fix my wife's laptop. After a few days he was able to diagnose the problem and installed a new hard drive. He also fixed my wife's i phone as well. His charges were very reasonable and even though it took a little longer than expected he was able to fix the laptop and restore additional memory to her phone. Overall I was very pleased with his professionalism and his willingness to go the extra mile. I would wholeheartedly recommend Steve to anyone needing computer repair!!!!
