    Came in to drop off an old box, and had the best customer service experience I've had from all the xfinity locations. When you enter you are immediately greeted by all stage personal. This location is super clean and very organized. I recommend Thomas for his outstanding customer service. Thanks to him I was able to get a camera and an upgrade on my modem. From past experience with xfinity I can tell you that it was extremely stressful, long waits etc, after coming to this location I'm happy to say that Xfinity hired the Best employee to represent their brand. Thomas should def be considered for a higher position. His customer service rocks!!

    Visited this store in 1 June 2019. The store looks very nice and modern. Parking was easy because there is private parking for the plaza the store is located at. There was a line to sign in/register for whatever reason you were visiting the store. The line took about 10 minutes. We were there to return equipment. We are Military and because of PCS orders we had to move from Maryland to Fort Bliss, TX where there is no comcast service. When we signed in/register a female representative took the equipment and asked us to wait while someone in the back checked the equipment was in good condition. We waited over 20 minutes, the store was busy. Then, a male representative called our name and told us we were good to go, but my husband asked for a receipt stating we returned the equipment, so then he was asked for his account information all over again and he gave us the receipt. Thankfully we requested a receipt because yesterday we received a bill for $100 for unreturned equipment. We immediately called customer service, and the representative was no help he said we could go back to the store and request they help us, we explained we are in TX, then he suggested we drive 60 miles to a store in New Mexico State, and he would put in a trouble ticket. Today before deciding to drive 60 miles to a comcast store which potentially couldn't help us we attempted to call this Silver Spring store but their direct number is not posted online, nor the receipt we have has it. We called customer service again and spoke to 3 different customer service representatives who transfer our call because they couldn't help. My husband explained the receipt has a different serial number for equipment than the one we are being billed for, but all they could tell us was that they will put in a trouble ticket for it. Long story short, before you turn in equipment to the store take a picture of the equipment and its serial number and makes sure it matches the one in your receipt. Such a long wait at the store for poor uncaring customer service.

GiGstreem is poser provider of community internet services, that fails to disclose they run on a shared mesh VLAN network that nearly all businesses with a secured VPN will reject for connection to GiGstreem due to inadequate enterprise level connectivity,...and GiGStreem knows this. They have been in business for only several years and they continue to rack up negative reviews. Here on Yelp they have 55 reviews with a 1.7 stars rating. Further, look at BBB listing in the State of New York: https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/new-york/profile/telecommunications/gigstreem-0121-173247/complaints, shows 19 complaints. And the bad reviews and complaints continue. GiGstreem - Convoluted Sign Up The GiGstreem Homepage looks like a basic Shopify template without any appealing creative influence to give the site credibility.  There is no standard  disclosure on residential pricing/button from the menu bar, and no transparency on pricing until after you click through 4-pages, Worse, are the obviously staged testimonial claims about GiGstreen satisfaction: "98% said installation was simple and painless" GiGstreem - Convoluted Sign-in After the convoluted sign-up, you are redirected back to the GiGstreem Homepage, and once again, there is ALSO no sign-in button.  Instead, you have to click the "SIGN UP NOW" button, and then taking you to a GiGstreem account login page.   Just terrible site design that role models the lack of professionalism. GiGstreem - Failed Access Point In my case, I signed up at a California apartment property where GiGstreem advertises as "GiGstream: Internet Simplified". Then I was duped with their offer of first 30-days free--like a trial--only to find that they charge upfront for a second month: bait and switch. Further, the signup was overly complicated to validate the service and the supposed 30-days free billing charge was convoluted and the U.I looked terribly outdated. I then learned, after I "signed-up" for service, that the Ruckus Access Point in my unit was never properly certified for installation-no power (PoE) to the unit and none of the ethernet jacks where GiGstreem purportedly provided hardwire ethernet jacks were connected.  I had to wait days for a technician (from a 3rd-Party) company to provide service and correct the problem. GiGstreem Dashboard - No Control of Devices The GiGstreem-My Wi-Fi Network Dashboard is incapable of providing any type of console control expected/displayed with AT&T and Xfinity.  The GiGstreem Dashboard falsely states you can manage devices, but instead is just a status board of all connected devices, without any option to disconnect any devices leaving you blind to security issues or a secure methodology to deactivate individual device connections, never mind and instant "off" feature for your children, and your supposed private VLAN vulnerable to bad actors. I tolerated GiGstreem's mediocrity for 3-days before I abruptly cancelled what amounted to a bad AirBnB commerical. I'd rather TRUST my customer experience to a provider that has a more qualified solution and customer offering.

Wifi doesn't go as far, wifi 5 speeds(slow), no IPv6, no UPnP, double natting with CGNAT, no inbound connections. This is glorified hotel wifi with all the lockdown and no support. They sell this as a "less expensive, faster, and equally functional" service to Spectrum, and so far I get faster on Spectrum, I don't have these technical issues, and support is far better and is actually US based. While this is a money grab by my apartment, if the service delivered by GiGstreem was what they promised at the property meet and greet, I'd still be unwilling yet wouldn't be complaining.

Helen couldn't even handle fixing a situation that her incompetent team member did. Shakira told me multiple times that she was new to the store but I really didn't expect her to mess up my transaction to the point that even customer service has opened an investigation on what's going on at the store. That is separate, so what happened today? I called them to let them know that my promotions were still not apply correctly and to explain my frustration, to convey my frustration. And this terrible excuse of a store manager hung up the phone on me and then refused to answer the phone when I called her back. Needless to say I spoke to customer service filed an incident report on the store. I'm gonna make my way around so everyone knows her name and the terrible customer service I received today. I've been a customer for 17 years and I've never seen such disgusting behavior.

Like another reviewer, we previously had ethernet only in the basement, resulting in poor Wi-Fi coverage on the upper levels. Regarding Trebor Technical Solutions, I wholeheartedly echo what others have shared. During the consultation, as Sriram (2021) observed, Rob "took notes of the locations where I wanted the drops, estimated the length of each run from the networking rack, and how the drops would be wired, carefully noting the number of cuts needed." Indeed, watching Rob in action is impressive--you can see him map, anticipate, and solve problems, as if he can "see" behind the drywall, identifying the cleanest and most efficient pathways. Sriram also noted Rob's "attention to detail deserves special mention, from planning the project to execution." I agree completely. Chaz (2024) wrote, "My experience with Trebor Technical Solutions was top-notch. The owner, Rob, went above and beyond." Absolutely. Rob left our townhouse better than he found it. Originally, ethernet entered through a hole in the wall--Rob repaired that neatly. He also removed unnecessary coax cables, replacing those plates with new ethernet plates. As reviewers' pictures show, Rob meticulously labeled each line with its corresponding room. Dan (2022) shared, "Rob is a pleasure to work with and makes everything easy. He pays close attention to details but also makes amazing recommendations." Couldn't agree more. He has a high work ethic and high standards. Todd (2022) wrote, "There's every reason you should immediately choose this company. Rob, the owner and a worker bee, is highly motivated to do right and technically trained by several mainstream internet and TV companies. He is extremely responsive and an awesome communicator." Rob's background (having worked at major companies) and continued work experience (providing expertise and skill to a variety of clients) are indeed impressive. Kyle's (2021) general contractor remarked on "how astonished he was with the gentle and delicate approach Rob took to making cuts in the drywall. Even though I was running drops across three floors and opposite sides of the house, Rob made only the smallest of cuts in the fewest places and did an excellent job patching up the drywall." Exactly. These were also my observations: Rob accomplishes tasks effectively with minimal disruption. Notably, he expertly repairs drywall cuts, leaving them paint-ready--a service many contractors overlook, as Sriram (2021) mentioned. Finally, Rob's patience deserves special mention. He patiently walks you through each step of the process at the level of detail you prefer, answering questions thoroughly--from the initial consultation through to completion and beyond. It was remarkable how patient and kind he was when explaining the system, piece by piece, and assisting us in setting everything up. We're grateful to have met and worked with Rob and his colleague. If you want commercial-grade quality and craftsmanship in your home, you've found the right team.
