Tried to get Xfinity mobile service on Saturday 22nd 2020. When I got home my cell phone was not working. Called Xfinity service about 20 times between Saturday and Tuesday. No one knew what was happening. my call was transferred to so many different people. Many just hung up on me. On Wednesday I cancelled the service and went back to Verizon. Phone worked for 18 hours and now Xfinity has taken back my number and will not release it. What type of company is this?! DO NOT TRY AND GET MOBILE SERVICE THROUGH XFINITY!!!!! read more

Absolutely appalling service. Would give 0 stars if I could. Moved to town this weekend and been in an extreme rush. Got on the phone yesterday and signed up for their top tier service. Desperate to have my internet set up for essential work-related reasons--and unable to come in tomorrow morning as I fly out for an out-of-state job first thing very early--JUST made it to the store with time to spare. The door was still open, and customers were STILL being helped inside. As a fully paying subscriber all they had to do was walk to the back, hand me my equipment and say goodnight. Instead I was refused service, pushed outside, locked out the door and threatened by "security." I called Xfinity customer service directly and got on the phone with a "supervisor" who was attempting to contact this store which I was waiting outside of. She explained to me she could not get in contact with any of her employees who were, by the way still helping customers inside and ignoring me standing out in the cold on my phone. Must have been extremely embarrassing for this so-called supervisor. In the end I got absolutely nowhere, no help from anyone, and now I'm paying for internet that I can't use. So I will now be searching for ANY other comparable internet service assuming Xfinity doesn't already have their monopoly on coverage in this region. I'm serious. You'll get better service at the DMV. Xfinity needs to seriously reconsider their customer service model and who their hire to represent them. Beyond terrible. read more

During this horrible time of COVID-19, I have been closely monitoring my credit. Last year I had Xfinity for a few weeks and because if system errors and past fraud I immediately returned their equipment and canceled my service. The rep explained that they would credit me and I will not have a balance. Well dead smack in the middle of this pandemic, they slap this bill on my credit dropping my credit by 50 points. To make it worst, you cant reach anyone by chat (besides a bot the chat in circles) and no one is available by phone. I am so glad I cancelled comcast and this proves me right. They are frauders. I almost started to just pay it so my credit wont get ruined. But thats exactly what they want. This really sucks to negatively impact someone without them being able to contact you to rectify. Shaking my head Comcast/Xfinity. read more

The gentleman behind the counter who was helping another customer when I came in, welcomed me politely .. triaged the situation....recognized the Remote control in my hand. ..as he was finishing up with his counter guest he asked if all I needed was a new remote? Xfinity Store by Comcast - Must be nice to get paid and play on phone for 30+ minutes - Internet Service Providers Near Me - North Haven, Connecticut

Stopped in to pick up a remote. Greeted at the door by a rep who was hoping to check me in. When I told him I came for a remote, he asked which one and promptly gave it to me no questions asked. Unfortunately the new remote didn't fix the problem so have to go back and swap out the box eventually. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars. The service is super slow. Employees pants are sagging. Everyone was returning equipment . Continuing in the true tradition of Comcast. read more

Comcast is beyond any doubt the worst cable company ever. I live in Building where we have no choice but comcast and they do nothing but screw over the senior citizens in this complex. They raise our rates and then take away channels. Comcast's business practices are less than reputable. Have to move just to get away from them. read more

This is not a complaint about the store, just Comcast in general. Just got new service yesterday and found out TCM channel is not available unless you get the sports package. There are no sports on TCM, what a ripoff, just a way to get more money for an already over priced service read more

i would give negative stars if that was possible. The service is terrible at this company. I set up new service a week ago and still do not have the proper phone service and the many many lies and lies I have been told are insane. Not one single person in the store has a clue what they are doing, and surprise there is never ever a supervisor in the store. child need supervision. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in any business I have ever done business with. read more

North Haven store. Went there to swap out my old boxes for new ones, got home and none of them worked. Called to have a tech give me a signal and talk me through, 40 minutes later, nothing. Made an appointment to have techs come out to my house. My boxes were never activated before I left the store. wtf NO stars. read more

Went to get help, was third in line and waited over an hour. This is the second time this happened; this place is ridiculously slow.

Not too happy with the way everything went yesterday since I wanted to get the new "X1" for two TV's in my house. I went to the Comcast store with everything that Comcast has given us with the "old" boxes. Box, remote, wires, and power cord. When I walked into the place, a woman by the name of Chamika, took everything without saying a word to me that I would eventually need for the installation. I got my number and waited. I was called and got my two boxes and left happy. When I got home to install the devices I realized that I didn't have the proper wiring that the lady took from me. This meant I had to go ALL the way back to the place and get more wires. I called Comcast on the way and they explained I would "need" these to install. While I was away, my brother was able to install them no problem and made them work without the wiring. So the man on the phone told me I needed the wires when I really didn't.. The only good part about this is through all the troubles we went through we got a credit for an upcoming bill. I will not be returning to this place for a while given the rudeness and snappy attitude I got when I returned for the wires. Overall, 2 stars is the nicest I can give.. read more

It's as if they made an effort to make the experience as painful and difficult for each customer. All I wanted was to return my router after canceling the service (because they unexpectedly increased their fee) and had to wait for half an hour read more

Was 7th in line and waited no more than 5 minutes. I just needed to exchange my cable box and they gave me a newer one with the new voice control remote. Their tech support helped me connect it when I got home. When it comes to their technical support, they do a great job. read more

Can I give negative stars? Is. It just this store? No. This is about Comcast. Years ago I turned in everything and closed off my account, signed and sealed. It was DONE. We'll, years later, I discover they are still claiming them money. Here is the beautiful trick of it all. They claimed some equipment was turned in a month and a half after it was. Im guessing somebody in the location misplaced it, found it later, and continued to charge me for it. Instead of acknowledging the error, the "escalation" manager continued to push the story despite her first acknowledging the equipment was turned in previously. This is why Comcast is the routinely most hated company in America year after year after year. An. FCC complaint and one to the state attorney General is forthcoming. Do not start with these people. Their screw up hit my Experian. read more

I have an addendum to my previous lousy review of Comcast. The power supply of my old controller box crapped out and they gave me a replacement power supply, controller box and remote kit combination--because my old kit was obsolete and they didn't make it anymore. So I took the new kit home and installed it. But it did didn't work but I received a message saying I had to phone Comcast and activate the new box. So I did that. But then they sent me an email saying that before I could use the new box I had to agree to pay $175 a month instead of the existing $168 a month. For that I would still have the same lousy service that doesn't include a DVD or any premium channels such as HBO. I sent them an email saying unless they replaced the dud power supply for free, they could take their lousy service and shove it. They still refused to activate the new controller box. So then I tried the new power supply with the old controller box and remote. To my surprise, that combination worked okay and I didn't need to pay the increased price for the same lousy service. As I said before, Comcast sucks, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. If they didn't have a cable monopoly, and it would be too much of a hassle to change my modem and phone, I would dump them immediately. read more

I don't usually read or write reviews, that being said I had to rethink that mindset due to another company poor treatment of customers, when I went online to find a location near me because I was told I had to personally return my equipment I started reading some of the reviews to say I was shocked was an understatement. So I took a deep breath and went having no other choice. I planned on a long wait, unfriendly staff and everything else I had read on line. To my surprise nothing I read about staff, customer service and long lines happened to me. I was greeted upon walking in, taken care of given a receipt and told someone would come for me which happened almost immediately and within a very short time I was done. Troy and Trevor were professional, polite and made the experience painless. read more

Comcast sucks, they have horrible customer service. Their website advertises one thing and they say another. You pay a high amount for barely any channels and they discovered customers were getting HD channels for over a year without a charge and since they messed up they take that away and expect you to pay even more even though the website states you'll receive certain HD channels with what your paying for. We will be changing or services to something else. The customer service reps were a bunch of ding dongs repeating the same thing over and over not listening or caring at all for what the customer had to say. Stay away from Comcast if you have another choice. Just horrible. read more

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Had a great experience. Thanks to all, especially, Tory

What a horrible experience. It began when Xfinity managed to put the wrong social security number on my new account. They told me that I had to go to the Xfinity store in person with my social security card to change it. That alone really bothered me. I am a single person who lives alone and I don't share the account with anyone, so I don't know how they even managed to screw up my SSN. I went to the store and was not acknowledge by anyone, even though there were several employees in the store. After standing around the front desk for a couple minutes, I went over to the customer service desk and waited for the representative (Josh) to finish with his customers. But he took a really long time with them. All the while I stood by the desk, looking at him. Josh never once looked at me or acknowledged me. Finally, a couple standing behind me said "How do we get any help around here? Do we have to take a number or something?" I turned around and said that I had been waiting for 20 minutes unacknowledged. So we went to one of the employees and asked. He said we have to sign in and wait to be called. I told him that it would be nice if you had someone at the front desk to greet customers and tell them they need to sign in. He looked annoyed and said "She's right over there." But that was the same girl who did not acknowledge me when I first came in and waited at the front desk. So the couple and I went over to the front desk where there was now a crowd of about 8-9 people just standing around. We asked if they had signed in already and a few of them said "No, are we supposed to sign in?" Realizing that I was going to be there for a long time, I left and called Xfinity customer support when I got home. They just kept telling me that I have to go back to the store to correct my social security number. So I have to waste more of my time and go out of my way to fix their mistake. Seriously - get it together Xfinity!!! I've never experienced such blatant incompetency and lack of professionalism. It might be easier to switch companies rather than go back to that store. read more
