Internet is good. Phone service and Customer service is terrible! I have been a customer for less than 2 weeks and I have called Frontier 10 times. Someone came out to fix the phone problems but never tested the connections....I still have the problem. Frontier are dishonest. They added a $25/month service into my account on month three, sent me a device I never asked for, and cost me an hour of time undoing all that nonsense. Few technicians, poor service. It's a shame because I want to like them, but their response to a recent weather event was AWFUL. Internet was down 4 days because "their system" couldn't schedule anyone. They treated my fully down issue like it wasn't a big deal even though I work from home. So we have been waiting for another company to provide service on our street as comcast has a monopoly. We started receiving mailing that frontier was no available so after 3 months called and made the switch I thought. Giving my account number for billing the service tech showed up which I left work early for. Only to be told we don't have it on our road. Multiple calls later and another appointment which they never showed. Note stayed home between 8am and 12 still no answer this company is advertising false information and has wasted alot of my time that doesn't come free. Is this allowed. My mom was in hospital over 800 miles away and I needed to get to her. I called Frontier and requested that they postpone taking a payment for one week. The guy on the said no problem. The day I was heading to my mom, Frontier took the payment on regular day anyways, so I slept in car while down south with my mentally ill son. Then a week later they took another payment which case I almost lost my vehicle in which my job. Oh and since my has less than 4 months to live, I can't see her because of all the problems that developed thanks to Frontier. read more

Yesterday I had THE best experience with a customer service lady by the name of Monique. She took her time to find me the most FANTASTIC deal for my internet. She also made sure I was completely satisfied with the package she found for me.. While she was searching for a package we were shooting the breeze like we knew each other for years.. I've had Frontier for about 2 years but today 9/26/22 was the End. I made an arrangement on their App to pay my bill on 10/3/22 & they disconnected my service! When I called, the customer service agent told me that I had a Past Due Amount and that's why it was disconnected... but that Past Due Amount was added in with my payment for 10/3/22. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tried to sign up "on line", they say there is technical difficulties, call customer service. I called their customer service number three different times to sign up but they couldn't verify my credit worthiness. Each time I called it was like I never spoke with them before and had to give them all my information all over again. They still couldn't (wouldn't} verify my credit and wanted They required a $70 deposit to verify credit worthiness. NO way no how will I ever be a Frontier customer! read more

I haven't even gotten hooked up yet and they canceled my installation without telling me, gave me the run around with about 10 or so different numbers to call, all to have go through the painful prompts to finally talk to a human just to be given a different number to call. I haven't talked to anyone who speaks clear English but tells me their name is " James." it's been 2 weeks with no installation date in sight, and my Comcast cable is being shut off soon. Do not use Frontier!! We had service installed and it worked fine, but within months we started receiving calls and text messages daily to upgrade. We didn't want or need an upgrade, so we ignored them. In January I got a message that an appointment had been scheduled for an upgrade - without my knowledge!! So I called another company to schedule install and cancelled Frontier. They told me that I would receive a QR code to return the equipment. I didn't. I chatted online to get the code...it never came. Their site states that equipment has to be returned within 30 days, so when 3 months went by I chucked the thing. Then yesterday we got a bill for over $100 for non-return of equipment. Are you kidding me?? When I called to complain they said the charge is valid and won't waive the fee, even though it's their own fault! They said I should have called again and they would have sent a package through the mail for the return. How many times does a person have to call to get Frontier to do their job??? read more

Had the best customer service ever from them today and my service has been great since they finally came out and fixed an issue with service to our condo building (issue at their pole coming in). The customer service people via phone for troubleshooting are terrible, but if the techs come out, they know what they are doing. Today I had a billing issue resolved by the most pleasant customer service person, and quickly. Given my terrible experience earlier today with The Hartford Courant offshore "customer non-service person", I am today singing the praises of Frontier. Thank you so much Trudy. read more

Zero Rating. Horrible company, do not do business with them unless you want misery. They make appointments and at last minute cancel, then, show up without appointment and decide to close the repair ticket because no one was home when they showed up unexpectedly. Last time, I was without internet for over 7 days and they knew I worked from home and needed the connection. I was told they sent a new modem "express" mail but round and round it didn't show up until a week later. They refused to put me through to a supervisor! When it finally arrived they sent the wrong replacement modem!!!! When the technician finally came out he couldn't believe his company sent the wrong device and all the grief I went through. Can't make this stuff up, all the ineptness from this company. No wonder they filed past bankruptcy (and screwed their creditors), but here they are up and running again while the CEO makes millions. Worse customer service ever. They tell you how sorry they are for the inconvenience and that you are a valued customer but their actions tell the real story...they stink at what they do. read more
