I know its been a while but this guy above is fairly responsible for the situation he was in. First…read moreoff he purchased a phone in Florida and then flew to CT to exchange it? I work for T-mobile and immediatey this is a red flag. For all we know that phone was stolen. The manager he is insulting did everything by the book and was far from stupid. Receipts cannot be faxed due to our customer proprietary network information policy but they can be searched easily through our system now just like they did back then. The only reason they wouldnt would be if he didnt have his I.D. which considering he doesnt have a receipt he prob didnt have his I.D. Secondly why was there no receipt? Who makes a significant purchase, signs a contract and then leaves without a receipt? All he needed was the store ID # and we could've very easily researched the receipt. Also we couldve looked up the contract by social. Of course he couldnt provide this. How convenient. He also fails to mention whether or not he was in a corporate store. Most people cannot tell the difference.Corporate stores cannot accept returns from authorized dealers. It's like buying a Sony TV from Bestbuy and trying to return it to a Sony store. In this scenario I'm fairly certain he was not in a crporate store in FL otherwise it wouldnt have been a problem. This has been done countless times by yours truly considering the customer had the proper paperwork. In the real world we cannot just assume you are telling the truth. especially with he amount of fraud that steps through our doors. This guy had fraud written all over him What was the outcome? What did we determine after your series of stupid mistakes? It is not our responsibilty to keep track of your receipts. What happened at that third t-mobile store? They probably sent him packing as well.

As has been said before by many others, this company has bad customer service. Far worse than the…read moreservice is their dishonesty. Astound is a good name for these people. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

The other reviewers are spot on.....if you want to Xperience hell on earth, visit the Xfinity…read moreStore! After our internet bill jumped 17% with no warning, we wanted to see if there was any way to reduce our monthly expenditure. We called their "customer service" and after waiting 25 minutes to speak to someone, spoke to a guy for an hour who offered some good deals to save $20 or $30 but then when we started drilling down trying to confirm we'd have the same service and wouldn't lose speed or our landline, things got a little fuzzy. So we decided to go in person to the Xfinity store where we wasted an hour talking to someone who was very nice but who was clearly constrained by Xfinity policy. When we mentioned some of the deals the guy on the phone said, he told us that guy was probably lying. Although that didn't inspire confidence, we asked what he could do. He came up with a few different options and we found one that would save us $15 per month...nothing life changing but every little bit helps. Of course, when we asked for it in writing and he tried to send the info to our Xfinity app on our phone, it kept showing a higher price. He called a manager and they could both see in their system that it showed the discounted price but when it was sent to us, it was the higher price. There was absolutely nothing they could do to actually give us the price they quoted us and that they could see in their system. Xfinity knows the have a monopoly in parts of Danbury so there's no need to treat customers as anything other than ATMs. So we'll suck it up and pay the extra $$$ per month as every other person has to. If anyone invented a cable/internet provider that didn't stink as much as Xfinity/Verizon/Spectrum, etc they would have a million subscribers in a heartbeat.

Went to the store and they gave me the same model 8, the exact one I currently have. I thought it looked the same but figured the magic was on the internal components. Wrong, customer service told me they gave me the 8 because the 10 is not available in my area. I was told this after wasting my time and having my internet paused for the duration of the replacement Instead of being transparent I was thanked for being a loyal customer.
