Xfinity Store by Comcast - Security Systems Near Me - Grandville, Michigan

Bought a new iPhone 16 from this store using their trade in/ upgrade promotion. They totally screwed up the transaction. They are now trying to bill me for the full price. When transferring data from old phone to new they somehow turned of my wives phone. After a fourth trip to the "store" her phone is on but shows as my old phone on our account. There seems to be no way to directly can this store and my tries through the 1 800 number has been unsuccessful. Buyer beware. read more

At risk of being barked at for saying this, I feel most of the other reviews left for this location were left by people who are not used to newer technology. I went in and was immediately greeted and told that there would be around a 30 minute wait, pretty good for a walk in service in my opinion. And the person who came to help me was wonderful! I can't say much for price because I was already set up with Xfinity/Comcast and was just coming in to pick up a new router, but the bill is never too outrageous. I'd probably say they're pretty cheap for the variety that they can provide. From the moment I walked into the Grandville location I was given great customer service. Mr. Day greeted me and got me checked in right away. I worked with Davieon on switching my cell and internet service. I told him I was nervous because I was with Verizon for many years. I have been going to this Xfinity store in Grandville ever since they moved from their 36th st location. I have always been treated with professionalism and courtesy. If there was a wait it was because I failed to make an appointment. The first thing I hear when I walk in is "how can we help you today?". Yesterday it was switching to Xfinity Mobile from another major carrier. Total time was approximately 1:30 minutes for transfer of service and transfer of all data from old phones (2) to new phones. Everything went like clockwork. Listen closely...Matt G was an absolutely great guy to work with. Exceedingly knowledgeable and very easy to talk with while we waited for all data to transfer. Came in to request a service for my newly purchased WiFi. They have few employees with one person just checking people in and doesn't seem to have the capabilities to actually help anyone. Have been waiting for over thirty minutes for one simple request. Would love if the manager would notice how busy they are and have employees focus on the customers instead of talking with them for ten minutes while customers are impatiently waiting around for service. read more

Worst customer service EVER!!!! They lack follow through and when I can't even get a supervisor to call me back! They continually inch the Bill up, 2 years ago I was paying $170, today, $290 for shitty service, pixelation pictures with loss of sound, on ALL STATIONS! Countless interruptions so many I've gotten $50-$75in credits for one month! AT&T is WAY BETTER! Mike at Xfinity was really amazing and helpful! We have been having issues with our wifi for a while now and have never gotten real help from xfinity's customer service line or the other store on the beltline. Mike had a great attitude and was able to help us although we had tried to get help from several other Xfinity employees prior. Other than this, the store itself was really nice & clean, lots of places to sit and wait & overall friendly staff. read more

This store was incredibly unprofessional. We visited on two separate occasions. The first occasion they were not patient and unwilling to understand the troubles we were running into setting our WiFi up. They were very quick to hurry us out the door and not be of any assistance. The second occasion the lack of professionalism continued. Two employees assisted us and they spent time whispering to each other and not directly addressing us. We witnessed Mike, who appeared to be some type of manager or authority figure, roll his eyes when an older gentleman asked for assistance with the self-payment kiosk. He asked another employee "does he need help?" And then proceed to groan and roll his eyes before assisting the gentleman. The employees were very unwilling to explain the different packages to us and if we had not done our research beforehand they would have easily gotten us to sign up for something we did not need or want. The employees were quick to disregard us and we had to be persistent in advocating for the assistance we required. At one point the employees took my ID and lease to the back to scan to themselves. This seemed incredibly sketchy. At other businesses they're able to scan in front of the client and can then show the client they deleted their personal information off the computer/email. He wrote my social security number down on a business card to refer to it and at the end I had to ask for the business card back to appropriate discard of this confidential information. It was overall a very negative experience, feeling as though the employees were unknowledgeable, inconsiderate, unwilling to assist, and not appropriately trained in their job duties, company policies, or how to handle confidential information. read more

This company has such a poor business model. I don't know how they stay in business. I went in to the store a couple years ago to get my dead husband's name off the account. Instead I got a cheaper service for 2 more years! They never took his name off the bill. Since then I have moved ( before the 2 years were up) and can't get their service here. Terrible service at this store! The greeter was sitting on a stool and never looked up from her phone the entire time I was there! I went to get a box to replace my DVR box which did not allow me to get the new Disney Plus App. They gave me the same box so after spending an hour to install it, I discovered it didn't work. I returned it and get a new one. When I asked the guy about my issues with HBO Max freezing when I used it. He said give it time, it's a new app! Really?! Been with Comcast for over 13 years never an issue. Went in to this store to return old equipment (received new). Wish I had just returned it via UPS the UPS store has awesome customer service. Or gone to the knapp corner location.The person that assisted us would not introduce himself said maybe two words and just kept typing on the computer. I didn't understand why he asked me to sign for a new plan after all I just came to return equipment . Wants me to sign for a plan thats like $50 more I showed him my new 2 yr contract on the Xfinity app he goes I don't know what that is and was so rude and kept interrupting. This person has 0 customer service experience. When I would ask a question he makes a big sigh and ignores me. I asked if I can have a manager review this he says no he can't help with this. If you walk in and see a guy with pony tail and long dark beard you better ask for someone else. I know we all can have bad days so I kept my cool and tried the good old kill them with kindness thing but this guy needs to get more training or find himself a new job. read more
