That's right, now we have to worry about the back of the phone as well as the screen, haha. The phone still worked fine, but the broken glass was getting worse so I called around to a few different companies to get quotes. UBreakIFix quoted $250 and would need to make an appointment, Lake Effect Phone Repair was $200 and could be done the same day with no appointment, and Repair Tech 360 quoted $149 and it would take 4-5 hours but they had the part in stock. I decided to just do the cheapest option, and was really happy with the experience. It did take about 5 hours, but Laura was so funny and nice and joking around with me, "What did you do to your phone," - I really liked her sense of humor. Plus the job was done well and my phone looks brand new again. I'd definitely go back for future repairs or technology issues. Their services are clearly priced on their menu screen.

Drove to his location and walked out with a working iPhone within about 15 minutes of my arrival. Extremely fair price and excellent workmanship. Highly recommend Zakry to others after learning during my visit of all he has to offer. My next trip will be to replace my iPhone battery or service any of the other phones or iPads in our home.

When I got home, Windows was still on my old 1TB drive. The new 2TB SSD was just showing up as extra storage. I had to drive back, and they charged me another $145 to finally move Windows to the new drive -- for a total of $217.50. For comparison, another local shop quoted me $100 for the exact same job. When I questioned the price, the supervisor told me "my 12-year-old could install Windows on this computer," which really shows how overpriced the service was. When I picked up the laptop, the technician (Davis) said to me "I hope you don't feel swindled." That says everything. The work is finally done, but I feel significantly overcharged for what should have been a simple job. Would not recommend.

Freedom Tech was on the top of my Yelp, and is very conveniently located (right next to the Secretary of State office), so I gave them a shot. I was provided a free written estimate within 3 business days. My insurance company accepted his estimate with no problems and released the funds. After I gave Freedom Tech the 'ok' to proceed on the repairs, all of the work was completed very quickly and everything is working great! Now that I know how easy/affordable it is to have my broken electronics repaired, I plan on giving these guys a LOT more business!

And when she showed up I thought....hmmm.....I didn't do any research on this business and I'm handing my phone to a stranger with a car! So I did ask her if she had any assurances that she would not drive off with my phone. She gave me none other than to say "I'm in your driveway and I haven't been paid??" So I wrote her license plate# down and sat by my window. It took her 15 minutes to replace the glass on my phone! Amazing. All-in-all from scheduling, service time and friendliness, was great! But as mentioned it would be good if they could come up with something that made me feel a little better about handing over my phone.

Not only did they have the random yet extremely difficult to find apple power cord I needed,…read moreeveryone was so nice and patient with me when called and stopped by. I thought finding a cheapo Apple monitor online would be easy. And it was. I bought the monitor to hook my laptop up to have a bigger screen. But the monitor didn't come with a power cord or the power adaptor. The power adaptor was relatively easy to find online, but that didn't come with a power cord. No biggie I thought, I'll just buy a 3-prong cord. WRONG! The good folks at Apple, always being soooo innovative, made this particular power adaptor with a different style of 3 prong cord. That cord was impossible to find online. It's after numerous fights with Ebay and several calls to Apple support that I was referred to Compucraft as possibly having this part. The staff member who took my call was patient, friendly and understanding as I explained my situation. Although they don't typically carry this item, she located a cord from their existing inventory. It was only $5 and after a headache I went thru with everyone else to obtain it, this was a steal of a deal. I write this review using my new (to me) monitor and power adaptor and couldn't be happier!
