Honestly it sucks that this is the only walk in Wi-Fi store near me, I've been through three different Wi-Fi modems none of which work and every time I bring it back they tell me that it's a faulty modem, they told me that the in person assistance is booked out for the next 20 days, but I am a college student and it's super frustrating when I already paid my first months of Wi-Fi for a modem that doesn't even work, the store owners don't seem to have a clue of what's going on because I told them that it's blinking yellow light and all they could tell me was that's very uncommon and that I should talk to customer service. When I talk to customer service they tell me the same basic stuff like unplugging the outlet and switching the plugs around, their customer service for tech-support can hardly speak and understand English which makes it even more frustrating read more

How dare Comcast if we could get better cable service we would. Last month I had to setup a payment arrangement with everything going in and they had me check a box to setup the arrangement and they conned us into setting up auto pay. June 2020. My rates shot up to $140mo. One day I received two different emails telling me two different amounts that I will be charged monthly. Also a demand for a one time payment of $282. All attempts to reach a live customer service person were unsuccessful, I was shuffled into their "chat". Therefore I will be forced to go in person to their store (also impossible to call or reach by phone ) to drop my business with them. read more

I love the new store. Lots to look at while you wait. The gentleman helping me today seemed a little off. I don't know if he was on drugs or just naturally that energetic. He couldn't stand still, was all over the place (seemed scattered) forgot to give me my change and took FOREVER to get me setup. I know they're probably pressured to "up sell" but this guy was worse than a car salesman. I had to tell him "NO" probably 6 times. I went in knowing which package I wanted but he insisted on pushing. Such a turn off. I didn't exactly expect 5 star service but it was a little ridiculous. Next time I'll just call the 800 and save myself some time. read more

I went there on a Sunday. I was disappointed to see a fairly long line outside, about 15 minutes before they were opening. (Especially since it is smokey in the air right now.) I understand there is nothing they could do about that. When I got inside my first impression was it is alot nicer than the Comcast Service Center on Chad Dr. There was a big open space with lots of separate small desks to help people. There was plenty of people, about 10 on a Sunday, to help the line go quickly. The staff where cheerful and helpful. The person that helped me was able to explain the new offer I received in the mail very well. He was also able to look at exactly what it should cost with the taxes and service fees. The only thing he could have done better was not confuse me about how to install my cable tv box. I told him I had a HD Tv, Since the TV service is not HD he told me to hook it up with the coax cable, and even gave me an extra one. I did not however get a HDMI cable. It turns out, after trying the way I was told first, that I needed to hook it up to one of my TV's HDMI ports. It worked after that. read more

after over fifty phone calls to comcast and ebay, since december 2022, and after being treated unbelievably badly in the store several months ago, i still couldn't use my i-phone 12 (which they had sold to me on a fraudulent basis in december claiming it is just like the i-10 which i'd had til then). even after that visit a few months ago,, in which i was treated so badly by the representative, i was given no information at all. when i commented only to my friend who was with me that the i-12 was not at all like i-10 and that i "could shoot the liar who sold me the i-12" the rep and manager threw me (a 77 year old 5'2" woman with multiple disabilities including hands,back, and feet) and i dumped her purse to show i had no weapon of any kind) out of the store, merely for using a "figure of speech" to my friend. the rep and the store manager pretended i had "threatened" the rep, but i had been facing and talking to my friend with mere "figure of speech" (which i proved) which "violated the store policy". in all my 77 years i had never been treated remotely so badly! the store manager backed up the representative in the store. the woman never listened to my story or my accompanying friend's back up of my story. i had to leave! i was unable to post on ebay since 12/22 which ruined my 23 year old ebay account business. today, armed with a hidden tape recorder and accompanied by a friend, we went again to the same store. we were met by martin weingartner, an agent who was totally different! he patiently answered all my questions about the i-12 photo and editing system and uploading. explained the i-12's features, gave me a printout on my internet, tv, etc account, and a new updated "box" with more channels. he even explained the home security system at my request. i was so won over, i may change to their home security system, although before today's appointment with martin i was trying to get away from comcast/xfinity completely!!!! martin was absolutely wonderful, and let me take notes on the processes i needed to learn. martin was both patient and kind, while still providing good sales information. beware of all management of this store. they are violating the federal civil rights disability act which states clearly that disabled customers should be given special accommodation by all organizations, not worse treatment. comcast's management demonstrated clearly that comcast does not believe that the federal americans with disabilities act is law which supersedes their store policy. do not trust them! oregon is still in the usa and federal law supersedes all store policies. i hope you get martin or another good rep, but most of the reps are far more interested in selling and are barely (if at all) willing to explain features and operation of the iphones. comcast/xfinity's customer reps on line/phone are badly trained and know and provide poor if any information as my over 20 phone calls to them have proved. the comcast management backs up the unfair representatives and does not listen to customers. small wonder the coburg road, eugene oregon's customers' store ratings are so poor. comcast/xfinity's upper management which permits such poor customer service is absolutely awful. read more

We've been with Comcast since 2006. And though we've had are ups and downs with them on how high prices are. They have been good to us if we go in and talk to them instead of calling, because I am always giving to someone who I cannot understand. They get ride to me. The people at the valley river Comcast are very nice and polite. I won't be changing because we enjoy of Comcast. But they should have loyal customers deals more often and lower prices for us who stick with them. read more

My sister has been more than frustrated trying to make an address change on my moms bill. That alone took 4 phone calls. We tried to get a landline hooked up also in which they told my sister to go buy a router at their store by Valley River Center. So we did. They didn't gIve us the right cable to get it hooked up. So we called customer AGAIN, talked to 2 service managers and got no where. We've been waiting over an hour for a call back. The WORST customer service I've ever felt with. Glad I don't have to deal with crappy company. read more

I waited on the phone for a total time of 16 minutes, hoping to get a call center agent who speaks and comprehends basic English. It turns out that Comcast has farmed out customer service to the Philippine Islands. The first agent barely spoke English and could not comprehend my simple question, which was "why has my monthly bill increased from $39.99 to $54.99?". Her name was Christina. She fumbled back and forth claiming she was checking my balance. She could not comprehend the difference between checking my balance and checking as to why there has been an increase in my monthly bill. I finally asked for a supervisor and requested one who could speak and comprehend basic English. She simply put me on hold and never came back. 10 minutes of my life wasted on severe incompetence. The second agent I called, after finally hanging up, was named Sen. I requested a supervisor again. An additional 8 minutes went by and then she finally returned to say that a supervisor wasn't available. I hung up in disgust. As soon as I can find a local internet provider with local customer service agents I will be making the switch to a Local Oregon provider. I'm through doing business with a greedy dishonest corporation which over promises and under delivers. And this debacle happened on what is supposed to be our day, ie Veterans Day. read more

Called many times, never got help, just auto round and round. Sooooo expensive, have extra charges all the time. Been with them 30 years, definitely thinking about changing. Left msg to get call back, never got it. Auto call said use txt msg. Exact same as auto call. Many times when calling, get accent and person who knows nothing, so frustrating. For the amount of money, has the worst service. read more

This is a very nice store and I had an amazing experience here. Everyone from the door person to the helper were friendly, calm, and inviting. I even heard some complaining customers and at the end they were all happy. I don't think I will ever call again. read more

First of all, this is NOT in the Valley River Mall like my GPS says it is. It is across the street near Dickie's, Red Lobster and Good Feet. Anyways I came in here to pick up a self install kit for my internet. I was greeted at the front and had my name on a list. Two people were before me but they have a movie playing with some couches and I was called pretty quickly. When I told them the agent on the phone said it was $14.99 for the self install kit I was told they give it to you complimentary if you just come in the store instead of called. I was annoyed at this but they said they couldn't take it off the bill (later I talked to a technician who said they didn't see it on my bill but I'm still waiting to find out). I was annoyed I wasn't given this information on the phone. I was also unhappy to find out that the technician I had scheduled over the phone wasn't actually scheduled at all so I had to schedule them again to come and fix a wire. The service at the store location was friendly and helpful and set me up with everything I needed. I have interview now and so far so good but I'll probably come into the store instead of calling because it seems you get better service, better deals and more reliable information. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. It's been 12 days since I initially signed up for an account. I still don't have Internet access. I've spent a lot of time and endured much frustration trying to get this accomplished. Of course, they didn't seem to have any trouble charging my credit card right away. So I'd really like to know why Xfinity/Comcast keeps breaking up and channels keep going out. Getting really tired of this crap. Just found out comscast offers a program for low income familys.(way to go comcast!) Was able to schedule online after hours late last night and they installed it this morningComcast employee was very quick and helpfull. Didnt realize the spot it needed to be plugged in on the wall was were kids had built there fort. Instead of asking us to take it down he was completely understanding and didnt mind crawling in. so far connection is great.. read more
