I've had Xfinity home internet for a few months, and while the service itself has been fine, my experiences with the generic hotline left me frustrated and unimpressed. What made all the difference, and what convinced me to take the leap and sign up for Xfinity Mobile, was the incredible service at this location. Every single employee I've worked with has gone above and beyond. It honestly feels more like a family run mom and pop shop than a big corporation. Leon was unbelievably helpful and kind while walking my 74 year old mom through cancelling her TV subscription. He treated her like his own mom, nothing but respect and patience. Shamira walked me through moving over to Xfinity Mobile. She went through the fine print with me, and made sure everything was squared away with AT&T before making the switch. Sophia helped me get my trade-in phones packaged up to mail off. She went the extra mile to make sure nothing would be damaged, gave me directions to the nearest USPS, and reminded me to give any of them a direct call if I have any questions or issues so I don't have to deal with the hotline again. Almost forgot to mention, when I had an issue with my coax cable at home, the technician who came out was prompt, thorough, and incredibly friendly. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away. If my decision to stay with Xfinity or switch to Xfinity Mobile had been based on their main hotline or automated customer service, I probably would've canceled everything and run the other way. While I realllllly hope not to have any issues with my service, if I do, I'll be excited to drop back in and see everyone while we get it figured out. I seriously can't recommend this location highly enough. If you're on the fence, go in person - you'll see what I mean.

I chose this specific Xfinity location because of online reviews, and I'm glad I did.

We have had EarthLink for close to 1(one month). Upon signing up for this service we were assured,…read moreon a recorded line that we had zero data cap. We were also assured the speed they offer would handle 2 phones and 2 TVs ( which we only have one TV now). Within TWO weeks we were getting emails and texts that our data was "running low ". Today a new text "you've reached your data limit for the month ". WHAT? After over an hour on the phone, I was "gifted " some extra data ( which will of course not roll over to the next month). This is truly misleading to the public and quite frankly a lie and false information. EarthLink should be totally ashamed of themselves. THE MINUTE we are able to locate a reputable ISP, we will change. Obviously we would never ever recommend this company to ANYONE. Do better EarthLink.

Representatives give different answers every time you call about the same issue. Promises are made and never honored. Tech support is ineffective, and customer service is shockingly rude--clearly uninterested in whether you stay or leave. I pay my bill on time every month, without fail, and it genuinely does not matter to them. After doing more research, I also realized their pricing is completely unreasonable compared to other providers. I should have researched more beforehand--that part is on me--but if this review helps someone else avoid the same headache, it's worth it. I'm moving, breaking my contract, and paying the early termination fee because my peace of mind is worth more than staying another day with this company. Do yourself a favor: don't sign up with EarthLink. Find another provider if you possibly can.
