Throughout the interaction, Milo was very polite, understanding and did not try to upsell me. He made suggestions to save me hundreds of dollars each month and then implemented them. I try not to have hate in my heart but I hate Xfinity let me tell you... I was a customer of theirs for 3 years and then I moved and had to disconnect services with them because their software wasn't compatible with my new place. I have received not 1, not 2, but 4 emails since then that "your final mobile line bill is due" from a service that I never even activated, was pitched to me as FREE, and that I cancelled in JULY. It is now mid December and I just received the 4th email yesterday that my final bill is due for my mobile line. I have already paid over $200 for this god damn service that I canceled almost as soon as I committed to it. Not only that, they refuse to refund me. I am incessantly frustrated with Xfinity- the never-ending bills, having to call and speak to 3 or 4 different departments about bills that I should have never received in the first place, and the abhorrent cost of their services. I got totally hustled into purchasing a tablet at misrepresented price after stating I didn't want it several times. I was led to believe it was a one time clearance sale cost of $50. When I got my bill I was charged $250. I was also not informed that it was attached to a second phone line at additional cost of $20 per month. When I tried to cancel that line, because I don't use the tablet, I was told I couldn't do so until tablet was paid off. Such a rip off. I paid it off and am actively looking for another service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The best way to describe the customer service for Xfinity is a flea circus ran by a monkey ring leader bouncing on a ball preforming for an audience of week old trout left to rot in the shade.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the 2 gig plan for the optic fiber internet two weeks ago. When they installed the cable, the technician did not have the XB10 modem on hand since there was a low supply. That was fine since that was the most recent model and supply issues would arise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The technician said we could pick the XB10 modem the Xfinity store at anytime. However when we arrived at the closest store to our house, they said they didn't have them[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I called the next nearest store (about an hour and 20 minutes away from where I live) to see if they had them. Twice, I called them and they said they had them in stock and ready to give out. After waiting an additional hour after I arrived at the store, the store clerks said that not a single store has the in our area and only a technician can give them out[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. After making another appointment to get the modem, the technician arrived to check out our issue but he did not have a modem. We made a third appointment on Thursday to see if they would finally give us the correct modem for our plan. Again, there was no modem and the technician said we had to asked it to be shipped to our house. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After calling the customer support line for the entire day, we learned that the modem could not be shipped at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Eventually, we gave up on Xfinity and tried canceling our plan and moving back to our old provider. Since the optical fiber was installed, all the other hardware used for our previous internet plan was gutted from our house. Since the hardware for the optical fiber took the space of our old hardware, we either had to cut another hole in our wall to get it set up or have Xfinity remove everything. Once we got back in touch with customer support, they said there was nothing they could do since their newest contract has a clause that prohibits them from removing any hardware used to set up the optical fiber. All said and done, we paid for a more premium package and could not reap the full benefits due to the company's incompetence. Xfinty aka Comcast is a scam. Customer service agent "Ashay" (a fictitious name) was beyond horrible. They put you in contract and do NOT let you cancel. You will have your calls rerouted and excuses and when you stay on the line for an hour and not budge they will hang up on you then you will have to start all over. We've called 8 times to cancel service, our service has been off for a m month and are still being billed. We were told we can't stop billing regardless of no service until we pay the full past do balance. When you call you will be routed to a call center in India and a guy named Ashay will talk down to you, not let you speak then threaten to disconnect the call. This company is crazy. I called to get a replacement gateway and the representative told me if I pay my current bill and the next months bill he would take $40 off. I said sure and paid $120 on my debit visa. Fast forward 6 months and the company is stating my payment didn't go through back in June 2024. My statement showed a payment of $166 through a bank account ending in 4 numbers I've never seen. After speaking with customer service 8 times without any resolution I contacted the FCC with my complaint. They have called me 71 times to collect a past due balance after only refunding me half of what they said was a " scam". Not sure if this is the right location but if you live in an apartment complex, technicians will not attempt to enter the building on their own. They need to be escorted in like little babies that can't resolve issues in their own. I left specific instructions in where to find my door for easy entry and all of that was ignored. Technician called once and of course I missed it. You cannot call that number back it re-routes you to customer service automated line. There is one thing that matters to me, that is "level of service." My wife and I entered and were greeted by representative Teo. I explained to him that the Xfinity remote I was using was broken, and something unusual happened. Teo went in the back and got me a new remote...no questions asked. It was packed up, and it even had batteries ready to go. A solution to my issue was met in less than 60 seconds....at no cost...no account information, no filling out forms, no wait. Terrible customer service. I signed up for an Internet contract and was told the price would not change. Halfway through, they increased the price. When I called Xfinity about the price increase during my contract, they said that I had to pay the extra fee. Since I felt Xfinity was violating the contract. I asked to stop service and they said they would charge me an early termination fee. So it seems to me that Xfinity violates their own contract, yet it holds its customers to the letter of the contract.
